Wait, people still use the Drumpf joke? It was always an ill-conceived forced meme, its implied anti-German xenophobia being the only redeemable aspect. Since there isn't actually anything funny about a name change during the era of the Thirty Years' War (!), it's all the more amazing that people are using it with such earnestness, as if it means anything. I was going to vote for Trump, but I changed my mind after I learned that his German ancestors in the 17th century had a funny German name, said no-one ever.
