How could Trump even claim victory after his poor showing?! All the major journals have come out against him, the GOP hasn't endorsed him, neither has the "business community", of whom he is so proud:-) Come 10/9, we can probably expect more of the same for round two.

Really can't wait though to see Kaine and Pence duke it out during the Veep debates! If Kaine, the former lawyer, does anything to trounce Pence the way Biden did Ryan, I'll be one happy camper, I'm tellin' ya:-)

You ever wonder how I can predict all this stuff and then it happens just the way I said it would ?
Lester Holt the moderator is a Democrat and spun the debate in Crooked Hillary's favor just like I said he would.
He dragged the debate to the left in six major ways:
1)Jobs: Holt pressed Trump with two questions on how he was going to add jobs even though the first answer discussed renegotiating trade deals.
2)Taxes: He portrayed the tax plans from the left - Clinton wanting to tax the rich and Trump "calling for tax cuts for the wealthy," forcing Trump to correct him.
3)Tax Returns: Trump got hit hard with tax return questions for "business conflicts" while Hillary got a slide on emails, her hidden speeches and Clinton Foundation business conflicts.
4)Birthers: Holt asked a "birther" question that lasted longer than Clinton's email answer. He then added three separate follow-ups to jam up Trump.
5)Iraq: He hammered Trump for supporting the Iraq War, downplaying how Hillary had voted to do the same.
6)Hillary's Gaffe: When asked about biased policing, Clinton said, "I think implicit bias is a problem for everyone, not just police." Holt ignored it, rather than challenge the idea everyone is bigoted.
Still the best slam Trump hammered Hillary with was when Hillary three times said that she made a Mistake with her e-mail server and all three times President Trump chimed in and said, "No you didn't" ! (That rattled the old girl but good)
Trump should have added at that point, "but like Benghazi, what difference does it make now."
Remember that post I made at the beginning of this thread where I stated, "It's almost like the winner of this election was determined years ago. lol

Holt has asked Donald 15 questions exclusively and Hillary only 2 questions exclusively. It was a clear 2 v 1 and Donald did really well. Let's wait for another debate where there will be no Holt this time.

I think Holt ask Crooked Hillary 3 and ask Trump 19 of them.
One may think that shows Lester Holt (the moderator of the debate) a tad bias for Hillary by doing her job for her.

Face it! Fact is Trump's credibility's goin' down the tubes at breakneck speed, according to both the NYT, even the New York Daily News, not exactly a democratic journal, called Trump's showing on Monday, "blathering":-) While Trumpo balked and prevaricated, Clinton answered every one of Holt's questions straight on. Didn't hear Hill complaining the following day about a bad mike etc... PUHLEASSSSE!

Who lost the presidential debate Monday night ?
Well, America did.
America lost because Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are among the most unliked candidates in American political history.
We lost because Trump is a billionaire who spent his entire career benefiting from politicians to make his fortune.
We lost because Hillary is a politician who spent her entire political career benefiting from billionaires.
To think we are being forced to elect one them. :-(
