Is this why you continuously repeat the same myths and lies that have been debunked time and time again?Or is there some other reason you.do.that?
I think it's possible that Novichok doesn't understand why he's doing that. There's a similar problem with my mother. You could explain things to her hundreds or thousands of times, but at some point she starts behaving like you never said anything. As if something "clicked" in her brain - like a computer reboot with some files missing. I used to think that she has memory problems (and she does to some extent, I think), but I've realised that it's more like she remembers what she wants to remember. She also lies, distorts or completely invents what some other person said. So, when she's telling me about what someone else said I never know how accurate it is or whether that person said anything like that at all. Having such a person as a parent is like living with a mental asylum patient under one roof.
That's why I disagreed with pawian when he wrote that Novichok is like that only on the forum. He sounds like my mother on steroids and it's very likely that he's driving his closest family crazy with such behaviour.

Hey, you had already quoted that
Not as bad as your copy and paste though is it. ;-)
Is there a rule that says you can get suspended for that or did you just want to bring it to the Mods attention so he/she would move my post to Random or just delete it ?
We need to import more advanced stuff like 4th generation tanks and HIMARS.
Why doesn't Poland build a manufacturing plant to produce advanced tanks ?

but I've realised that it's more like she remembers what she wants to remember.
It happens in old age Paulina. it's called, "selective memory".
noun : the tendency to remember only what one wants to remember.

I completely empathise with you as my nearly 91 year old mother in law is the same.

Something that you are very guilty of!!!

Thanks, Milo. You only know what it's like when you have such person in your family. It's mind-boggling...

It's mind-boggling...
Worse than that, she can turn nasty at times, we know she doesn't mean it and we still love her, but it can get difficult and emotional.

I think it's possible that Novichok doesn't understand why he's doing that.
I understand and remember everything, including who I am dealing with here - the copies of the "heroes" who gave us the Warsaw Uprising, 200,000 dead Poles, and a destroyed city. The outcome: Soviets in control - aided and abetted by their Polish collaborators.
Now the "why"... It's actually very simple: I don't like you, individually and collectively, because to the US and me as a taxpayer you are a useless and arrogant bunch of reckless parasites who are very likely to drag us into another self-inflicted Euro war.
To the clown who called me "contrarian": my position on everything I post about has never changed.
Is everything clear now?

Clear as mud.....
You hate America and Europe......so why don't you emigrate to Australia or New Zeeland?
Or even your beloved Russia!
What is wrong with you?

You hate America and Europe.....
Quote me where I said that I hate America.
I used "hate" 332 times so finding a post where I said that I hate America should be fairly easy. Go ahead, make my day...

Let's start with how those mechanisms help people in controlling their governments.
Well, in my own homeland the government can't change the constitution without the permission of the people. What about where you live?
I and the rest of America can scream all day long
So you agree with me. The USA is not a true democracy.

USA is not a true democracy.
Well it was designed as an indirect democracy (elect lawmakers if you don't like them elect someone else)
But the way it functions now is actually pretty far from the original design. If you understand the original design then a lot of things that don't make sense... make sense (you might still disagree about the utility but there is a logic behind it which is hard to see now since modern practices have blurred the structure).

Thank you Maf. To an outsider American politics seem really weird. Voters seem to have only a very shallow idea of what government is about. It seems that white teeth and an expensive suit are the only things the average voter looks for in a member of parliament. And I know there are educated, intelligent Amercians but ......... my God, the level of ignorance displayed by so many Americans. What about the ones who are well heeled enough to travel to Europe, but their ignorance is such that they think their American constitutional rights apply overseas?? ! How can they not understand that American law is not universal and only applies in America?

the average voter
The great problem of American politics is that elections select for good campaigners while actually holding office and doing a good job requires a completely different set of skills...
This is by no means a unique problem in America and different countries try different tactics... Germany, for example, makes politics so boring that the political scene becomes dominated by colorless technocratic bureaucrats which works fine in good times but means that it's caught out in more challenging times....
The basic principle of the United States was that the States came first. Each state was supposed to be a laboratory for democracy where different solutions were tried out so that the most effective could be adopted by other states should they so choose.
That's why there's no such thing as an American driver's lisence or marriage license or license to practice medicine etc etc etc Those are all controlled at the state level as planned. Passports (for citizens when they leave the country) are issued on a national basis.
the federal government was only supposed to moderate disputes between states and have a few international functions (where individual states having separate policies would be impractical like diplomacy and military defense).
That's why the electoral college exists - the president was never meant to be elected by individual citizens but by states and the election is for the represenatives of the individual states to know the will the people they'll represent in the EC.
Similarly the senate has just two representatives for each state because they're supposed to represent state interests rather than those of particular districts (as is the case in the House)
Over the 20th century (esp after WWII) the federal government has grown and absorbed all sorts of functions it was never meant to have. Some of this was simple overreach and some was needed (southern states were out of control in terms of civil rights and had to be reigned in).
A lot of strife and confusion could be easily ended in the US by returning the rightful role of the state.... but that's not likely to happen.

(elect lawmakers if you don't like them elect someone else)
...who will give you the middle finger as soon as he is sworn, followed by a call to his favorite K-Street who*re to find out when the next bribe - sorry, I meant campaign contribution - will be in the mail. Also, a promise of a cushy job as a reward for voting the way his future employer will like when the pos is "our legal representative".
Today, children, we will learn the spelling and proper use of "naive moron".
Naive moron - a person who does the same thing over and over and expects a different result. See: voting every four years and being surprised that nothing ever changes.

...and the border is still open, hordes are pouring in, and the US is funding walls in Israel and Poland but not at home.

It doesn`t matter. You were a barbarian immigrant.
the US needed me
Just like it needs current immigrants who are going to give your country new energy. You don`t realise it yet but soon you will. Ha!
the US never needed and never will need English teachers
This was wasted on me. I am not an English teacher. Ha!
