I have told you a few times that I am not Delph.

As a test, I attempted to read the first page of The Collector. However, I quickly realized that I didn't care much for the characters since they were fictional.

@ Novichok

I hope you're open to considering my response to your statement, even though it contradicts your conclusion. Reading just the first page and expecting to have a good understanding of the book's content is not realistic.

To take our conversation one step further, I anticipate some harsh words of disapproval stating that one cannot conclude what surprises lie ahead in the rest of the book based on just the first chapter. However, I boldly proclaim that the real benefit of reading lies not in the book itself but in the author's notes and acknowledgments (parts that the average reader typically overlooks). Here, readers come to understand the immense research, effort, and expertise that goes into writing a book like Daniel Silva's.

Ireland votes to keep 'sexist' language in the constitution
Voters rejected a proposal to expand the definition of families and the role of women

Sexist language: man, woman, father, mother...

There is more...

A comment:

"....admitting that the authorities had failed to convince the majority of the public."

WTF!? Poiticians aren't there to 'convince' the public what they should think, politicians are there to enact the publics democratically expressed instructions.

Novichok

Problem is that you can't prove that so thank you for your opinion.

I don't have to prove anything. The absence of amputees with natural arms and legs is proof enough.

You are a Communist and most Commies are atheist.

I will take communists over religious freaks every day. You can reason with communists.
Atheism is normal. Then people turn stupid and start believing made-up crap.
Like that a man can change into a woman. Why not? I did. Some guy way back, turned water into wine. Sure...

I don't have to prove anything.

Nor do I because I have witnessed my prayers come true which is proof enough for me.
I could care what you think as it is a meaningless opinion.

over religious freaks

You are losing so you have had to turn to name calling. lol

turned water into wine. Sure...

Were you there ? Of course not so again, thank you for your opinion.

f Irish whisky.

Whiskey is the correct spelling, coming from the Irish 'uisce'.

Novichok
11 Mar 2024  #852

I will lose and repent when I see an amputee with his natural arms or legs back on him or her.

Until then all the talk about miracles is indoctrination as bad as woke crap about men becoming women and women becoming men.

Let me know when you see one. I mean an amputee who was restored back to normal by a miracle.

It may be too late then as Jesus instructed us to, "Walk by Faith and not by sight."
I'll take Jesus Christ's words over Commie Richard Mauzers words any day and so will one third of the World.

Novichok
11 Mar 2024  #854

"Miracles" are not exclusive to Jesus. Every new saint had to perform at least two, including JP2, so leave Jesus alone.

Jesus instructed us to, "Walk by Faith and not by sight."

How do you know? You weren't there.
BTW, only a total moron would follow this advice crossing the street. Jesus would never be hired as a school crossing guard.

woke crap

Satan is the father of lies. You are angry all day long at the works of satan and his followers who promote the lies. That proves you're not a bad guy, but you will die angry unless you let Jesus into your heart. If you read the Bible, you'd notice your being angry is in line with St. Peter, for example. They were also angry until they believed and it set them free.

And isn't 'Whisky' the correct spelling for 'beatha" ?
Please correct me.

Atch
11 Mar 2024  #857

Uisce beatha is the Irish language name for whiskey. Uisce meaning water, beatha meaning life, the water of life. The Scots spell it without the 'e' whisky.

politicians are there to enact the publics democratically expressed instructions.

Referendums are only held in Ireland when the government thinks there is enough public demand for a referendum on an issue or when the government thinks there is enough popular support for something the government would like to see happen ;) This time they got it wrong on both counts.

Most Irish people a) didn't see the need for any referendum at all on these issues and b) they didn't like the proposed replacement clauses. Many people who were very unsure didn't vote. It was a fairly low turnout for Ireland which indicates the lack of interest in the issues. Those who did vote, voted overwhelmingly no, for the reasons I've outlined.

Where the constitution of Ireland is concerned the people have the last word.

Your true nature is revealed again by that "the government thinks" line.

Governments don't think. The bastards tax, spend, find nice jobs for their loved ones and parachute to their gold-plated retirement heavens.

Other than that, in a democracy, voters must be able to force a referendum on the government. If they have to wait until the government "thinks" it's a tyranny, not democracy - without gulags but a tyranny nevertheless. See the US and the dictatorship by one moron who singlehandedly opened the border and let 8 million useless scum in to grease future elections in favor of US Bolsheviks.

Ireland is the same. BTW, that referendum was just a deflection to make the Irish feel "empowered". The government did it because it was meaningless bullsh*it that doesn't shake Ireland's power structure.

but you will die angry

I tried both loving and angry and I like angry more. Did you notice how weightlifters get slapped rather than hugged by their trainers before they approach the bar?

Adrenaline is my drug of choice.

In the meantime, have you ever met an amputee brought to his natural normal by a miracle?

You, guys, would be wise to stay with Jesus and what he said and drop that miracle nonsense along with how "God" created the Universe. Ever seen a picture of it taken by some super NASA telescope? One guy in seven days, even if it's a metaphor...That BS was good in the days when 2+2=4 was still an unknown concept.

So drop this kind of crap and you will look a lot more credible about Jesus and his mom.

No, she was not a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus. That virgin bit is totally unnecessary to the plot. Jesus was what he was regardless of how conceived.

Let me put the definition of FAITH in easy terms to help you understand it, Novi.
Faith is like Wi-Fi.
It's invisible but it has the power to connect you to what you need.

Novichok
11 Mar 2024  #862

Let me put the definition of FAITH

Let me put the definition of "a miracle" using simple words:

Miracle - a lie for the gullible.

Never happened. Never will. As one famous guy said: Either nothing is a miracle or everything is a miracle. Or was it in reverse...

Faith...Have faith to loan your priest 10 grand? He will pay you back before the year is up.

that referendum was just a deflection to make the Irish feel "empowered"

The people of Ireland are really not that stupid. I think it's very hard for an American to understand just how differently Ireland functions to the USA. Ireland is a very political place. People have strong, informed views and our politicians can't live in an ivory tower. At one time our Taoiseach (Prime Minister) lived across the road from me in Dublin. When Bertie Ahern was Taoiseach, he used to drink in Fagan's pub in Drumcondra. He was assaulted by an angry member of the electorate in another pub in the city centre.

Here's a quote from a Reddit forum that might explain things:

"I was in O'Donoghues last night and a very, very senior politician was having a few pints and no one bothered him, no one stared, the entire pub decided that he was just having a pint with his mates and should be left alone.. I love that about this country."

Hopefully you realize you're being played by Alinsky's / satan tactics. Personally, when I know I'm being played, I stop playing, it keeps me sane.

In the meantime, have you ever met an amputee brought to his natural normal by a miracle?

Many amputates survived because of the amputation; isn't that a miracle.

Ever seen a picture of it taken by some super NASA telescope?

If you knew who founded Nasa and who works there, you'd not even waste a second looking at their fake "pictures" (most of which have been created under water). I thought you're well educated; how can you believe this astronaut nonsense? What about water in the ocean - how can it stay perfectly flat on a "spherical" earth, spinning 700 miles around itself on top of that. It's all satanic lies; you should be angry at that too if you like the high adrenaline level.

No, she was not a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus

Nothing is impossible for God. That's why, He is God.

I'll do you one better.

Where do ships disappear to, when they go beyond the horizon?

Novichok
11 Mar 2024  #870

Dear Christians, I see that you are struggling with those "miracles" so let me help with the concept...

1. A rare event does not a miracle make.

2. A miracle, as opposed to an ordinary event, however rare, must involve the supernatural and violate the laws of STEM. Typically, the laws of physics.

When a kid falls out of the fifth-floor window, lands on bushes, and survives, that is not a miracle.

When a kid falls out of the fifth-floor window to his imminent death because there are no bushes, stops falling at the midpoint, reverses, and is gently placed on the window sill, that's a miracle.

Did you get it, or do you want a better example?

BTW, why do we sneer at Marxism and wokism, but Godism is fine? All three involve indoctrination and obedience.
