Looks like Trump will get into power again, wonder if he will be vengeful like the new polish government by taking down tv stations and firing civil servants , proper commie bongo bongo land state takeover

Hahaha!

I have a question for you! Are you familiar with the Russian Army kitchen menu?

dolnoslask
16 Jan 2024  #63

The poles shouldn't be allowed to run poland , the EU should takeover and just have administrators looking after all things polish.

The Russians and Germans did a god job of removing Polish intelligentsia, to the point the country is not capable of running any kind of democracy without kicking the $i$te out of each other lol , you gotta laugh at these idiots.

by taking down tv stations

Not as vengeful as the last lot who lost.

trump

He has said he will be.

If he gets another term we can expect fireworks.

Are you familiar with the Russian Army kitchen menu?

Do you mean in locations of permanent basing, or MREs?

I have tried MREs, quite a few times, primarily on hunting trips.

I never ate in a cafeteria at an army base. Actually, I did once, as a guest. It was beef stew, mashed potatoes, and hot tea.

I don't know about the ones further east, however the Polish ones (they call them Officers' Casinos) are usually very good.

Polish ones (they call them Officers' Casinos) are usually very good.

We had a minister of defense, during the Medvedev years, called Serdyukov. He implemented an enormous amount of reforms - mostly bad.

One thing he did, was outsource cooking and cleaning. He felt, that soldiers should do soldier things, and not spend time cooking and sweeping.

Everybody complained, that the catering subcontractors that were to feed our soldiers did a worse job at it, then the soldiers did when they were feeding themselves.

last lot

Come on you and I are from the same place , they are all a joke , Poland should be put under special measures by the EU , Could you ever imagine a established EU country behaving like this. no idea of reconciliation just conflict, politicians with no idea how to run a free inclusive democratic country

outsource cooking and cleaning

Always a bad idea.

Ours did that plus the fvcking government even outsourced military housing. With disastrous results.

Just before the covid, I went for a military job at Shrivenham. It was via a contracting company who did zero except keep money and run by yet another contracting company who made people 'bid' for work on a points system. I told them to p1ss off in the end.

then the soldiers did when they were feeding themselves.

Military stuff always seems better when done by actual military rather than twats with spreadsheets.

That one! Where there is a proper kitchen or a field kitchen if that is the thing now.
My question is simple do they still have that sweet pear syrup as a pudding? That was good stuff!

That one! Where there is a proper kitchen or a field kitchen of that the thing now.

What do you want to know?

Always a bad idea.

Reluctantly must agree. As a capitalist, it seemed to me a good idea. The practical results have been disastrous.

The private sector eats at the trough of the military budget, without any concern for the well being of the people serving.

We also outsourced housing, like you did, and even things like laundry.

The men in uniform called Serdukov "Taburetkin". A taburetka is a type of stool, one can sit on. The guy's claim to fame was he ran some furniture business successfully, before Putin picked him out and appointed him as head of the tax service. At the tax service, he certainly optimized things, and made it practically impossible for Russians not to pay their taxes. For this, he was rewarded with the job of Minister of Defense.

All he did, was emasculate the men in uniform, and destroy what centuries of Russian military tradition had produced.

Not really however a Polish democracy tends to be stormy, and PiS were vicious contrarians.

I can see trouble in France if Marine Marechal wins next time.

he ran some furniture business successfully, before Putin picked him out

Google "Baroness Michelle Mone". Like a cross between something in a Carl Hiaasen novel and a businessperson in Africa.

The 50 million she made on faulty covid masks is just part of it.

The poles shouldn't be allowed to run Poland

I told you a long time ago that Poland has not regained its independence but it was post-commies' takeover. Yet you lot were treating me like an idiot and got all weak knees because some PRL morons were spewing 'patriotic; slogans.

Now you have an emotional meltdown.

It isn't a surprise for me. I say it is a good thing to let that post-commie system burn, at least there is a chance to build something new, a proper Poland.

Poland should be put under special measures by the EU,

You don't keep up are you?
The EU put Tusk to this and is supporting him fully!

Yes almost unheard of in any other civilized European democracy, I have spent 11 years now watching these idiots on all sides, I now see why all political parties never wanted us exiles back in this land lol. Jon don't get too invested in any of these idiots, I just laugh at all their petty shenanigans, even the clown circus at the local level.

Bobko
16 Jan 2024  #76

now see why all political parties never wanted us exiles back in this land lol.

Well, maybe there is some truth to that.

Look at this forum. The exiles hate Poland.

You want people that hate Poland, running Poland?

Jon at least lives there.

P.S. Somebody here said something about Borodin's Prince Igor, who was that?

Both parties have good and bad ideas however they're sadly both full of twats. SLD was the same. Some good people but a lot of shenanigans, especially at local government level.

the clown circus at the local level.

Way too many people on the make. Where I am its platforms and day to day they're ok. A few miles out of town and it's moustachioed local businessmen who still think it's 1993.

No. Newport County FC are the Exiles. The c*nts you're talking about are properly called Plastic Poles.

We have "people"... too. I cannot even call them Plastic.

The exiles hate Poland.

Well not exactly true, us exiles spilled blood for Poland only to be betrayed by our own (Commie Simps ) and foreign players , My roots and ancestry is Polish , I live in Poland , I see the legacy of the corruptions of the past still fighting it out for money, power and glory not necessarily for the good of Poland and its people

Yip, sounds like something that Plastic Ruskies would do.

Are your plastics also sausage emigrants, who ran away after dollars but style themselves as persecuted exiles? Do they also start speaking with an American accent after 3 weeks and forget Russian words after 4?

us exiles spilled blood for Poland

How much blood did you spill for Poland? From which limb? Which battle? The name of your commander?

No?

I didn't think so.

Bobko

Oh... My... God...

What happened Jon? Suddenly not so enamored of your Brexiteer heroes?

also sausage emigrants, who ran away after dollars but style themselves as persecuted exiles? Do they also start speaking with an American accent after 3 weeks and forget Russian words after 4?

This is how we know we are brothers.

Nobody is so ready to sh*t on the place of his birth as a Slav.

Ironside

No?

Don't get agitated for anything. Those are children of Polish soldiers who stayed in the West. If we had a proper Polish government in the 90' we would make good use of their knowledge, connections, and all, that was a resource that wasn't p[eopepy used but either neglected or misused.

Well, that was nobody's fault but the result of WWII and 40 years of Soviet occupation.

Possibly the end of that party.

Father Private , General Anders Monte Cassino Italy Campaign, Italy star and six other Btitish and Polish campaign medals

children

60- or 70-year-old children. So their dads spilled blood for Poland not them.

Our granpas and dads were raising Warsaw (and half of Poland) from ruins, rebuilding the industry, academia, farming and military while the plastics were walking through the streets of Paris, London and New York talking about how persecuted they were.

I say, "F*ck them".

With a broomstick.

There maybe a time very soon to spill blood again, will you be in Poland by my side

In one trench with a Plastic? ...

With pleasure! *shakes dolno's hand*

Maybe you're not all that bad. :)

Well, that was nobody's fault but the result of WWII and 40 years of Soviet occupation.

Just the presence of the Red Army somewhere was not occupation. Occupation means the occupier running the occupied country directly, without proxies.
