There should be a thread where we all duke it out, and the winner (as determined by admins) gets the forum.

That is, the most deserving member gets the forum for free.

The other members place funds in escrow, with the covenant that they will release it to whoever wins the debate.

I think that would produce an interesting result.

If it was up to me, I would give this forum either to Kania or Lenka, but I think both of them are too busy to manage it.

I think it's irrelevant who runs the board (as long as it's not Strzelec or someone like that), and if PF goes offline it would be much better to start a new site - a modern one with quality software. The most valuable resource is people. If we can have the same PF brigade (more like a platoon rather) anywhere else, it would be equally good (or bad - depends how you look at it :)).

Sure, it would be a bit pity to lose all the content but come on, we are content machines here; we produce content faster than Novi produces digestive gases* hahaha

The way I see it, this forum has pretty much run its course for what it was originally set up for.
It has become a place to Gang Up On, Attack, Diminish and Shame chatroom.
The rules since I came here TEN YEARS AGO this week have gone totally down the drain and are being totally ignored which has attracted a lot of immature Off-Topic banter which sullies the reputation of a credible forum.
I'm afraid of whoever buys this forum will be buying a white elephant.

Well, they certainly introduce a lot of rules and regulations which can make it difficult to run a site without legal problems :-/
