Never ceases to amaze me how hypocritical Poles are about migration. Flood any richer country that will let you in, but don't want anyone else in yours. Poland for Poles, and England for Poles, and Germany, and Ireland and USA.

Then there comes:

"But we are the good migrants - because we're white, eeneet" (shhh, don't look at the demographics of Ireland's prison population, for instance, when it comes to foreign-born inmates)

"We work hard and keep the country running, unlike lazy locals" (and then Zbigniew goes absolutely ballistic with rage when you suggest the same thing about Ukrainians in Poland)

"Well, all the Poles are coming home now because Poland is amazing and your country is finished" (they are taking their time about it, considering only about 200,000 have hopped it in the last 10 years or so).

How, exactly? Name one country that Brits have moved to in huge numbers (especially for higher-earning purposes) and have turned it into a massively popular sport to insult said country?

There's a lot of Brits in Spain but, aside from dealing with things like typical southern European mismanagement and bureacracy, and not being able to get traditional foods easily (two things Poles in Britain can never, ever claim, lol) most of them are quite glad and happy to be there. In contrast, Poles sh*t-talk Britain incessantly - see some of the YouTube videos and comments I've highlighted in other threads.

Also, it's one thing for British people - whose country has seen very large amounts of immigration for decades, from all over the world - to get a bit negative about it and another for Poland, which has exported many, many migrants and taken very few apart from Ukrainians, who are from the very similar country right next door.

I see it differently - people have the right to complain about anything they want, immigration, emigration, food, weather, or the size of their heads. What a big deal? Only thin-skinned Brits with a village mentality find it offensive, while mumbling all the time about 'foreign people'.
