Mainstream muslim values, that predominate in the middle east, are not a good match with European ideals of civil society, separation of church and state, the primacy of secular over religious education, equality between the sexes, impartial secular rule of law etc.

Not a fair comparison. Radical christian europeans do not migrate to the middle east and they do not give europeans housing and a welfare cheque. There is generally very little interest in helping christians anywhere in the world. Christian migrants would cause less social problems and be more likely to assimilate. Tough. It's reality and no matter how much you dislike immigration, it is not going to reduce. Whether refugees in this current humanitarian crisis, whether skilled professionals from poorer countries looking for a better life or whether it's people who have just managed to get to a destination country, in Europe it will only increase regardless of how much you huff and puff.

You're absolutely right i don't like it. No other religion or ethnic group causes so much trouble in western europe. I've been to some w. euro cities that are almost exclusively inhabited by muslims. These areas are rife with crime, unemployment, and generally unwelcoming and generally speaking not very european. I once made the mistake of staying in a hotel in one of these sharia zones in paris years ago. These people will destroy what millions of europeans in the past died for to create.


Yes, w. euro governments throw money at these people. Do not deny it. In the past there was no welfare state to support migrants. People migrated from country to country and had to fend for themselves. Today migrants go to europe (politicians love them) even when europeans have trouble finding work. The moronic politicians who imported them then put them on the dole and smile for the cameras to show the world that they're not racist nazis.

Its not simple. Refuges in Macedonia arriving from countries that are EU members, Greece and Bulgaria. Macedonia don`t have capacities to `defend` itself. Country is paralyzed. So if Serbia start to behave like Hungary, Macedonia would collapse.

Then, after all, Germany and western European countries promising good life to refuges. That`s why they came in Europe after all. Serbia is transit country (that behaved according to positive international law) and now Hungary cut refugee route and, not only that but Hungary wants to push refugees back on Serbian side.

And the middle east will simply sink ever deeper into conflict and pointless destruction....

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

The situation is changing fast, and the refugees being out of those countries is the first step to their recovery. But it will be slow, and most of the people coming out at the moment will permanently settle in their new home. The world is getting smaller.

Lets not forget this has been created by Merkel with her come one come all attitude, and then it becomes, come on guys we're one big club, you have some and you have some as well.

In other hand, i would remind you that refugees entered Europe via EU members, Greece and Bulgaria, while official EU expected that Serbia provide transit to refugees. All the time Serbia behaved according to international law. Why would now Serbia allow Hungary to return refuges to Serbia? Let Hungary send refuges to Greece or Bulgaria. Its EU`s problem.

Actually, this is definitely part of the problem. I've watched a lot of stuff from the borders (my hobby/interest is international borders and how people behave around them) - and without a doubt, a huge part of the problem is caused by them refusing to register in safe countries. The latest thing I've seen is that they're yet again throwing away food and water - why?!

I'm not 100% on what's happening at Roszke today, but Hungary's tactic yesterday was to let them cross on condition that they agree to be registered as refugees in Hungary. Makes sense.

I'm betting that a bunch of them don't want to be caught out as non-Syrians and are hoping to get wherever they're going to fade into the local ghettos and live off the grey economy.

Also I'm assuming most of the Pakistani and Bangladeshis are wanting to get to Britain (the same way they think they can get there by studying in Poland)

What's more... If they were ready to host some refugees, they should have sent some people to places where they reside now (Turkey and elsewhere) and over there select those most needy.

For what they did -> Welcome ! Arrive ! But first cross the see in a damn boat and travel illegally across a dozen or so countries ! -> Merkel and other EUnuchs should be trialled for crimes against humanity.
