I couldn't see any violence in this video. If EDL sh1t-stirrers from far away came to my home town, I'd like to think I'd be part of protests against them. I'm a bit long in the tooth for demos now, but I took part in lots in the 70s.

As for groups of Asian youths 'patrolling' the streets, this can be as intimidating as any other group, and there are laws to control them.

Anjem Choudary is an oxygen thief who I bitterly hate, perhaps in part because he comes from near where I come from, is about the same age as me, and is a total hypocrite. You won't see a wide-angle shot in any of these hysterical American reports because then you'd see that these wangkers number a couple of dozen. I don't speak for the so-called antifa groups of today; they seem such a ragbag, but I agree, Choudary and his ilk are just as dangerous as white supremacists. They are two sides of the same coin.

By the way, Hope Not Hate, a prominent antifa group, regularly campaigns against Choudary.

But you would do nothing if Choudary were to demonstrate his fascist ideology in your city and you'd happily go for a protest against EDL.

You are deluded if you seriously think the police get involved in patrolling these areas. There is virtually NO police presence at all in any of the UK's towns and cities (apart from inner Londonistan) due to the police budget cuts. You go out after dark at your peril.

A close friend of mine works in an agency, and he is their liaison, so yes I am sure. You have to remember: wiser people within the Muslim community have no interest in having the reputation of their entire community damaged by an act of terrorism by one of its members. This model of cooperation is similar to models used in several Western countries. Some potential problems are stopped before they are even conceived thanks to this cooperation.
