Really....what makes you think that? Are you referring to David Cameron or is David Coleman someone Different - i assume you mean the first one,im not sure.

He has no idea. Its like having a doctor to service a car,but for what he is promising, and to claim to be in touch with the needs of people....i dont buy it and i feel not many people will.
he sounds sickly and sounds fall of it.

Unfortunately I think you're right Jay. Not that I am a right winger - it's just that I think any country needs an effective opposition to balance the government. We don't have that so the encumbents get away with mediocrity

Im not so sure especially when you have the current goverment and the opposition have similar,if not the same views...the only difference i see is whoever runs this country next, they will become arrogant, out of touch and will not listen to the people that elected them.
But whatever, both leaders will promise you the world,do the usual publicity stunts to get voters blessing.

OMG - The BBC is reporting that Tony Blair has been approached to become a 'special envoy' in the Middle East for George W's administration.

Me neither. Cameron reminds me of Blair too much to be able to vote for him next election.

Since every other party has no hope of winning in our Political system I wonder if its even worth doing.

Brown is the King of tax so that is why we all hate him, lets see how he does as PM, I personally think that the choice in our goverment is poor, so what we expect; poor, none of them have any kind of back bone or strong political views they are wimps, all yes men and I wonder what will happen with the eurpean situation, handing over the UK power will be detremental I think.

On balance I would prefer to have malaria rather than Prudence the Calvinist robber baron. How can he have any credibility after claiming to have enjoyed England beating them at football (soccer) in Euro 96. Shameless vote catching shallow control freak wannabe.

The only viable PM is Boris Johnson. He's as incompetent as the rest but provides a few laughs along the way.

He has been thinking about his life after P.M. for some time, this is why he offered to be a broker between Hamas and Israel etc etc Remember how he got a knock back then.
I saw the whole farewell tour he did as preparing himself for some sort of U.N. ambassadorial role in the future.

What really irks me, is that politicians can amass great wealth whilst supposedly serving the public.

As a measure of the man, he is yet to get in touch with the elected Scottish First Minister to congratulate him.

I hadn't realised that. Probably the First Minister wasn't thinking of offering him lucrative employment.

The Americans at least have a 2 term limit on their leaders which is a good thing, Blair went after 3 terms because of other pressures if I recall right.

MrAmerica

Unfortunately, it seems we no longer have anyone to vote FOR, just against! It seems that every time I go to the voting booth I am forced to pick the "lessor of the 2 evils".

No more Clintons or Bush!!!!

there has been one of them in the white house since the Regan adim....

over 20 years....same ol same ol

Bush #1 was Regans V.P.

then georgie #1 had 4 years

then clinton for 8 years

then Bush#2 for 8 more

The hell with the lot of them we need somebody fresh!

I did like Ronald Regan though

Very true. Even though, I'd like to see a woman president some day, Hilary doesn't cut it. I dread the next year, when all the hoopla begins full steam ahead.
I can't believe that there isn't anybody really suitable out there. All the "would be" candidates so far... scare me.

Hi Sledz!
