The only viable PM is Boris Johnson. He's as incompetent as the rest but provides a few laughs along the way.
he'd get my vote, he couldn't f**k the country up any more than the rest, but at least he'd entertain us.

I always think it was such a shame that John Smith died, what a different country we would have now...nice educated grounded man...Ms D, no matter who gets in they will always blame their failure on the last government same as the labour gov has blamed the conservative gov, at least Maggie had backbone

shame that John Smith died,
Agreed - I wouldn't have voted for his party but at least I could respect the man.

Yep. Primarily because of thier commitment to independence but its the small things that make a difference to peoples lives.
Since coming to power in the last month they have -
reversed Labours decision to close two Accident and Emergency departments
got rid of the graduate endowment
commited to providing immunisation against HPV to all women by 2008
on their way to scrapping the council tax
more free nursery care
etc etc
Compare that with what Tony Blair and his cronies have done in the last month.

Its all good ! As opposed to most Nationalist groups, the SNP actively encourage people from different cultures to settle in Scotland.
The first non-white member of the Scottish Parliament was from the SNP.

I spent 2 brilliant weeks in Orkney a while back, but then Orcadians don't consider themselves scots do they? I'd love to live there all the same
going back on topic, there was a documentary on tony Blair on channel 4 last night, part 2 is tommorrow night, very interesting.
I knew he was a little sheister, but I never realised what a complete chancer he was as well, even scared of Gordon Brown

Back on topic - I reckon a whole lot of stuff is going to come out when TB goes. By the way, it was a SNP MP that first raised the cash for honours question.
Iraq is how he is going to be remembered.
Still wont prevent him from earning millions in the future though.

The only viable PM is Boris Johnson
And this is why I support Boris. The clip shows him turning out for a 'friendly' football match of England v Germany politicos and journalists..
"For you Fritz, za match is over!"

We just have to wait and see ,if he can cut the mustard and will he,do you think will get on with George Bush ?
I have the impression, that Gordon Brown could be more of the European type - meaning that, he will have the UK interests towards Europe....if you see what i mean and having said that,do you think it might effect our relationship with the U.S ?....Tony and George was known for getting on very well.It would be interesting to see how the George Bush and Gordon Brown combination runs.No doubt we will see.
But i dont think there will be any world stopping changes though.
But theres always the UK's General Election approaching soon and by then we will see how he performs,so to speak.
As for Tony Blairs next Job,i think he could do quite well. After all, he certainly has the experience....good or bad.
