That happened in the UK too and anti semitism has risen here by 650% since October 7th....100,000 demonstrators came out in support of Hamas in London last Saturday and only a few hundred attended a pro Israel demo..My son in law runs a security business and 70% of his business is to protect Jewish synagogues, schools etc and he and his employees have started wearing bulletproof vests.....

Anti...my optimism is heavily colored from what happens right now here in Germany....maybe the reason for that is truly our history....but the left radicals had been a strong force here for decades now...and I can't help but noticing that is turning now because of the so suddenly and so strongly exposed anti-semitism of most of the left....things are changing here, and I doubt they will be back to "before" ever again.

Probably, maybe that sensitivity is opening German eyes to the whole of the contemporary left. I'm not sure the same eye-opening is happening elsewhere around the globe, though.
