75 years ago, on 14th May 1948, the Israeli Declaration of Independence was proclaimed by David Ben-Gurion, the Executive Head of the World Zionist Organization, Chairman of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, and soon to be first Prime Minister of Israel. The rest is history...



I wish our Israeli friends all the best on their Independence Day and may there be 100, 1000 and 10000 more years of friendship between our nations!

Don't be ridiculous, any thread about Palestine/Israel descends into a slanging match. The hypocrisy on display is also shocking when compared to the same posters positions in any Ukrainian thread.

Its got nothing to do with Poland.

This thread has nothing to do with palestinian Arabs. It's about the 75th Anniversary of Israel's independence proclamation.


This thread is also not about Russian-Ukrainian war.


Poland had the largest Jewish population in Europe and many of those who survived built Israel. Polish language is still heard on the streets of Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa. Stop being ridiculous.

You used the word Palestine in the OP so clearly wish to discuss only one type of Israeli citizen. There are a large number of Palestinian Arabs who are citizens of Israel do they not deserve at least a mention?

You made a mistake in naming the thread. If you had written: 75 years ago Israel was created by Polish Jews, it would have been probably left intact.
