Mona Lisa was seriously ill and died at the age of 39 as far as I know. I wouldn't compare her to anything, and certainly not to the Israeli Miss. Well, at most I would compare she to an old rusty AK 47.

after more than two-thousand years, still are unable to live in peace

Throughout WW2 Ford and GM (Opel) made (military) vehicles in Germany. The factories were never bombed. I would call it an "unabashedly deal with". After the war, Germany and the US became the greatest of friends. I would call it "live in peace".

Curious though that when people are variously labeled "anti-SEMITES", they're perceived as anti-JEWISH, rather than anti-Arab as well:-)

Often though, Arabs appear to have a somewhat darker complexion than most Israeli Jews. However, there's so much intermarriage in Israel, it's usually too tough to tell. Perhaps also the rate of intermarriage is higher among Jews than among Arabs!

Walls don't work against things they were not intended to. For example, walls cannot deliver babies, fix teeth, or bake bread.

As a reminder, the Berlin Wall worked. Not perfectly but well enough.
