It's despicable, not only is it long time ago since Ottomon Empire fought against HRE (mainly against Austria) but, most recent conflicts in middle-east was caused by English, French or American meddling.

Even as ironic and tragic was Germany being one of the biggest supporters of Arab&muslim independance and autonomy for her rivals to get weakened and score points with Turks at different times...

That Even 1 bomb has been detonated in Germany is not only a grand betrayel but, also completely impossible to defend. Israel bombing Palestinian civilians in Gaza is no different from Polish, British and American bomber crews bombing German civilians in Dresden and other cities of Nazi Germany.

Germans in Nazi Germany voted Nazis into power and overwhelming majority of them supported the Nazis (either actively or passively) or even applauded their actions. For this they (and also many innocent children) suffered.

Palestinians in Gaza voted Hamas into power and overwhelming majority of them supports Hamas (either actively or passively) or even applaud their actions. For this they (and also many innocent children) suffer.

You could say Communism and Nazism aren't that different....."Nazi" means "Nationalsozialist" after all, Nazism aka National Socialism having lotsa leftist, socialist, even green-ecological roots...not only in the naming.

Ideological thinking is never so different from another one....even if "the Cause" is named differently, "the Cause" will always be that good and worthy and necessary that killing non-follower/enemies/imagined enemies/traitors etc. for it is highly acceptable!

The Allies did not do any of that in Germany or Japan. To their credit, Germans did not use their civilians as shields.
