I wonder how you can distinguish between facts and wishful thinking, Iron
Well, as I said TheOther I know what I know. It is kinda hard to explain to somebody who doesn't posses the same sense. I might ask you on what basis you have constructed a mental picture of Polish views and politics using for it concepts from the Aussie's leftie PC warehouse. Which in practice amounts to label and libel things and issues that tick off as a taboo/good/bad in their self-propelling narrow ideology that explain naught and understands even less.
How long have you been away from Poland now? Ten years or more?
What does it matters in the age of internet, fast connections and a global traveling routs? Why do you even think that I'm posting from outside Poland?
I have never said anything about my location or give out my personal info. All the info I put out there about myself could be just baloney to mislead internet trolls and creeps not to mention countless possibilities on using software and proxies to further obscure or hide you ID.
If there is a one great thing about internet forums that is a fact that you can post as an anonymous poster (to some extend). It makes possible to debate issues unabated by the social or other considerations which otherwise would make a frank and direct exchange of views a cumbersome and awkward endeavor.
I'm here to debate issues and exchange views unfortunately we have here too many people with mental problems, some intellectually challenges dicks, trolls or other nobodies who are using this platform to nurse they fragile egos, complexes and whatnot in the process changing this otherwise nice and interesting forum into a dick measuring playground for immature old pricks.
Personally, it wouldn't even cross my mind to tell someone what's going on in Australia for example, since I haven't lived there for decades.
Firstly, I'm only expressing my own opinions and I'm always very clear about it.
Secondly, I wouldn't posts as much as I do if not for certain (let it call ) people on PF who consider themselves an oracle on all things Polish but in fact they are presenting more oft than not only one sided and narrow narrative of goings on in Poland.
Thirdly, let me use a metaphoric story to explain it to you in a user friendly manner.
Imagine yourself that you are an ardent fan of a game, you grew up knowing its rules by heart, playing it some and then watching it for many years, it is part of who you are as much as anything else.
Then for some reason on other you are no longer actively involved in a game. Yet you can see transmission and you can instantly see even from fragments what is going on and you can tell what is what.
You can talk about strong and weak players. Then somebody who is a fairly new to the game makes some ridiculously inaccurate comment and is mocking your points by saying - hey I have been watching this game from the stands and you have seen only fragments on TV - you know nothing.
Now change the word game to Polish politics and here is your answer.
