Kaczynski: Germany is on the way to becoming a world powerAugust 8, 2022 5:36 p.m
According to the Polish politician, Donald Tusk, the former president of the European People's Party, would be used for this.
The aim is to weaken Poland with the help of the leader of the opposition, the dispute over the independence of the judiciary is just an excuse, the Polish government will not make any more compromises - stated Jaroslaw Kaczyński, the leader of the ruling party (Law and Justice) to the ruling party weekly Sieci.
"No more compromises"According to the newspaper, the politician is outraged by the fact that the European Commission, despite the restructuring of the Polish Supreme Court, does not start paying the money from the Recovery Fund, even though it was already voted on in the Warsaw parliament only after hard battles in 2021. At the end of May, the body dealing with the disciplinary matters of judges, largely composed of non-judges and according to the EU, endangering judicial independence, was abolished, but shortly before that, the National Council of Judges, assembled on a political basis, was re-elected.
As they write, at first it seemed that the European Commission (EC) would accept this and payments would begin, but then EC President Ursula von der Leyen announced that this would only happen if the changes had actual results. Poland calculated that since it is at the forefront of condemning Russian aggression against Ukraine and accepting refugees, as well as distancing itself from its former ally, the Hungarian government, which is considered pro-Russian in Poland and the European Union, this could pave the way for it.
However, this did not happen that way - they say in the article. To this, Kaczyński now said that this is enough, there are no more compromises.
"They want to rob us of our independence, our freedom, cynical speculators would like to make a lot of money by switching to the euro.
The independence of the Polish judiciary is only mentioned as an excuse, in fact they want to destroy the Polish rule of law in order to weaken the country," he said.
According to Kaczyński, "Germany is striving for world power"According to Kaczyński, Brussels is only a side character, Berlin wants to gain world power, and for this they are using the leader of the opposition, former Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the former president of the European Council and the European People's Party, who, according to him, is working at the behest of the Germans. Kaczyński already has an idea of how to act against the "blackmailing, brazenly breaching the contract" EC, but he is not going to reveal it yet.
And he warns Polish judges to take into account only Polish laws− which is to be understood as not recognizing and especially not requesting the decisions of international courts. This is not the first time Kaczyński has made such a statement. As recently as last December, he stated that Germany is attempting to turn the European Union into a federal, German fourth Reich.
