EURO 2024 (Po-Polska)

humane Socialism

We do things properly.
Not some russo-German absolutism.

Anyway, back to the football. Who would you bet on!

Eastern European distortions

LOL

Or the Cuban distortion, or many South American distortions, or South-East Asian distortions or African distortions, certain Arab distortions or Central American distortions or North Korean distortion or any-f*cking-where-in-the-world-where-socialism-was-tried distortions 😄 😄 😄

It's not me....its the history!

Exactly!

It's amazing how those leftard sickf*cks - no matter if of Stalinist, Trotskist, Pol-potist, Castrist or whatever variety - always claim that all their failures all over the world were distortions but the next try will definitely be successful. 😄

What those retards fail to understand is that certain socialist policies introduced in the West (in Scandinavia for example) were only possible because those countries were staunchly capitalist for many decades (even centuries) before and managed to accumulate the capital needed for introducing those policies. When socialists run out of money - as the fu*cktards always do - the capitalists come back and build wealth again for socialists to have money to spend. Oh, well...

Anyway, back to the football. Who would you bet on!

Not England.

Who would you bet on!

I don't dare.....imagine how far France has come with what? One regular goal???

I wish for Spain, then Germans can always say: "We only lost against the upcoming European Champion!" :)

Torq

One regular goal???

Zero regular goals.

They "scored" two own goals and one penalty so far. In 5 games ffs :-/

They "scored" two own goals and one penalty so far. In 5 games ffs :-/

Oh boy....imagine they come through with that! :(

Torq
8 Jul 2024  #456

Yeah, absolutely ridiculous. At the moment, if I had to chose between England or France winning it, I would choose England. At least they scored some regular goals.

Luckily, the Spaniards will win it.

Luckily, the Spaniards will win it.

*makes wild crosses in the air and spits three times on the ground*

any-f*cking-where-in-the-world-

All less developed places. It's worked well in the U.K. and in Scandinavia. How well does capitalism work in the third world?

managed to accumulate the capital needed for introducing those policies

Which were actually achieved without money from
capitalist exploiters. As were the reforms in the U.K., including the ones copied by other countries, such as national insurance.

I would choose England

So would I, and the bookies think they have a better chance than Spain? Why do you want Spain to win?

Torq

It's worked well in the U.K. and in Scandinavia.

Where capitalism reigned supreme for centuries, so leftist had money to spend on social programs. When they run out of money (as usual) the capitalists will come back and the process will repeat itself ad infinitum. Unless, of course, leftist manage to take over the world (the Great Reset and all that) and create a system that permanently suppresses capitalism, economic freedom and free entrepreneurship . Then misery and hunger await the world.

Which were actually achieved without money from capitalist exploiters.

Certainly not. Socialism has only worked in countries which accumulated piles of money under capitalism earlier. Sapienti sat.

Why do you want Spain to win?

Because...

1. They are not the Netherlands: their coach is a c*nt of the first order.
2. They are not France: they play the most abysmal kind of football imaginable.
3. They are not England: the most overvalued, overpaid and overhyped team in the world.

capitalism reigned supreme for centuries,

It didn't 'reign supreme' and certainly not for centuries, did it. However yes, it does realise more plundered assets to use than feudalism.

piles of money under capitalism

Under feudalism and exploitation largely. It's the people's money and up to them how to use it.

Because...

The underdog. I'm surrounded by Barca and Real fans here nad I can't say I wish Spain well. It would be nice to see England win for a change.

It would be nice to see England win for a change.

Come on Jon, they overcame their penalty curse already....what more can you wish for! :)

jon357
8 Jul 2024  #462

what more can you wish for

Total victory. And in the next World Cup too.

Good about the penalties though.

Total victory

Ho, ho, but the Channel will remain La Manche, or what? 🤭

Bratwurst Boy
8 Jul 2024  #464

Oha!

Premier League ref Anthony Taylor returns to England from the Euros - after thousands of fans signed a petition demanding a replay of Germany vs Spain - as he looks set to be overlooked for the final

dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13611187/Premier-League-Anthony-Taylor-Euro-2024-Germany-Spain.html

....yeah....take that! *grumble*

Now we can always blame the English! :)

jon357
8 Jul 2024  #465

the Channel will remain La Manche

It's always been the English Channel, not some sort of garment.

demanding a replay of Germany vs Spain

Wanting a repay of something they've lost seems to be a bit of a theme in Germany.

Bratwurst Boy
8 Jul 2024  #466

....especially with a petition!!! Is there something more "german"??? 😅

Torq
8 Jul 2024  #467

penalty!!!

But you see, BB, the Spanish player was in the process of thinking about eventually pulling the arm in, so that's a no penalty. It doesn't matter that his body shape was extended and he stopped the ball going towards the net - that's a no penalty. Besides, his grandmother before the game told him to pull the arm in when he's in the penalty box, so that's a no penalty. *mega-galactic eye roll*

That thief of a referee, who stole Germany's semi-final (and my f*cking money), should find himself another hobby and stay as far away from football as possible. 🤬 🤬 🤬

Bratwurst Boy
8 Jul 2024  #468

he was in the process of thinking

Is that his "thinky"-face? You think? *hmmm....goes thinking*

should find himself another hobby and stay as far away from football as possible.

...I see that abit as a recognition of his error that UEFA has send him home already, without a chance to do a semi or even the final!

Torq
8 Jul 2024  #469

UEFA has send him home already

Proper order!

Alien
8 Jul 2024  #470

pulling the arm in, so

It was the hand of God..... but in fact, he was hit by the ball.

Bratwurst Boy
8 Jul 2024  #471

...isn't every " hand ball"? 😏

Torq
8 Jul 2024  #472

he was hit by the ball

That's why, to avoid penalties, defenders should pull their arms in when in penalty box and in front of an opposing player shooting towards the goal. The Spanish defender didn't. Luckily for him the referee of the game didn't like the hosts very much and decided to not even check the VAR. R-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s.

Bratwurst Boy
8 Jul 2024  #473

.....or.....even better.....arms constrained on their backs before every game....the ultimate solution....never again "hand balls", jawoll! 🤓

Torq
8 Jul 2024  #474

... and for every bad decision referee receives twenty whips... right after the game, with the fans still in the stadium.

The rightness/wrongness of the most important decisions will be decided by the fans sending text messages to a certain number ($9.99 a message) during the games. The income from the messages will be dedicated to UEFA youth training and development programs. Win-win.

the Spanish player was in the process of thinking about eventually

Is that his "thinky"-face?

Remember, it's the thought that counts.

jon357
8 Jul 2024  #476

Yes.

Perhaps they should give the German team a participation certificate.

and for every bad decision referee receives twenty whips

Z20 lashes? Kinky. It's always the ref's fault...

Bratwurst Boy
8 Jul 2024  #477

....Germans can think too....maybe even better than Spaniards, so!

Okay...bed time.... :)

Bratwurst Boy
9 Jul 2024  #478

Still hot in Munich....31° (what is that in Fahrenheit???)

But hey, it's Spain against France....they should be used to hot temperatures!

GO SPAIN!!!!!

AntV
9 Jul 2024  #479

31 Celsius is still hot in farenheit. 😄

How's Germany receiving Toni Kroos' immigration comments?

Bratwurst Boy
9 Jul 2024  #480

....the people nod, the politic ignores, some commenters act surprised....the usual!
