Examples of popular Polish music?

My last post on this thread tonight is another song by Kasia Lins..... this one caused a bit of a stir when when it was released.... and yes, she does sing in Polish too!

She does have a good voice and I particularly liked ' Yesterday'. Just downloaded it onto my phone. I've not heard of her before but I think I need to listen to more of her on YouTube.

Opera does work well with a modern updated libretto. Do you know the 90s filmed version of Marschner's Vampire? Dated now but well worth it.

Poland is blessed with dozens of good or great singers and the Polish troll can only say that it is pathetic, without coming back with any posts of his own..... which I would regard as both pathetic and cowardly...... either put up or shut up troll!

Most readers of this forum understand Polish to varying degrees and don't need translations.Many of the artists I post will already be familiar to most readers and don't need a long biography....... most people just want to listen to some nice music...... now find your troll cave, get in it and go to sleep......half past midnight in Poland....well past your troll time!
