Not so sure about that.....the Russians lied like mad on RT about the Salisbury attack....it was hilarious,but that was not aimed at a domestic audience.I think they are like the classroom bully who stole your money and denies it with a huge smirk on their faces.....you know,they know,but they want you to know that they don't give a $hit.....

The author needs to be more specific instead of painting the USA with a broad brush. Only certain neo-bolshevik elements which infect Washington, and their accomplices, are the guilty in this event.

Yep, exactly that. The whole MH-17 situation is exactly that - rather than own up and admit that they made a terrible mistake, they continue to deny it in the face of overwhelming evidence.

If you dig deeper into the web about this piece you will find loads of arrows pointing to Moscow......

They all point there. Bellingcat more or less figured out exactly what was going on and where the Buk missile came from.

Exactly. Anyone with half a functioning brain can see exactly what happened with MH-17.

The only question is whether it was a mistake by incompetent Russians or if it was deliberately done to cause trouble.

Why don't you assume that their motive was the same as ours when the US downed an Iranian passenger aircraft.

This should take some of the edge out of the "It's those damn Russkies, again" attitude. It is on the subject of planes being shot down and people dying.

Interesting, why would you deliberately try and steer the discussion towards an incident that happened many years ago, and for which the Americans paid out compensation towards the families of the victims?

This is about MH-17, and the fact that the Russians did it.

I explained it in the post above yours. The US paid because the US could not deny. If Russia did MH-17, sue them, win and collect. That is how it's done, not by innuendo and speculations.

From Wikipedia: The findings do not specify who launched the Buk missile but according to Al Jazeera, the area identified by the DSB was controlled by separatists at the time of the downing.

Big difference between MH-17 and the US downing the Iranian plane is that nobody claims the former was brought down by the Russian government. It was the US government that did the Iranian plane.

International investigators last year said they had strong evidence the Buk missile system that shot down the airplane came from a Russia based military unit.

Russia has denied involvement and dismissed the findings from the international criminal probe because it was not invited to be part of the investigation team.

If Russia were ultimately to acknowledge some form of legal responsibility, it could lead to compensation claims from relatives of the people killed.
