In 1975. I went to Paris to meet my parents. The French don't speak or avoid English. Never again...

It's true, the older French don't speak English and some of the younger ones try to avoid showing how well they can speak it.

But that just labels you as a wimp.... firstly, for not learning ANY French.... first rule of visiting any country is to at least learn a few phrases in their language.
Secondly your sheer arrogance at expecting them to speak English is beyond comprehension.....when, even you cannot even speak perfect English!

Luckily for me,I am fluent in French.

People who speak English do not need to learn any other language no matter where they are for a short time.

In the previous group game when Nikola Jokić was on the floor the game was tied 81-81, it's only when he went to the bench to rest for 9 minutes that Americans outscored us 29-3. I guess the Joker will have to play the full 40 minutes tonight of we are to have a chance of advancing.
