Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Crow
12 Mar 2022  #4951

400 000 Muslims in Ukraine and most of them are Crimean Tatars:

Muslims are humans. They also deserve to be liberated from nazis.

Paulina
12 Mar 2022  #4952

@Crow, Crimean Tatars don't want to be "liberated" by Russians. They fled Crimea after Russian annexation in 2014. Read the article.

Crow
12 Mar 2022  #4953

They fled? I hope they aren`t deluded with nazi-islam as some Bosnian and Kosovo Muslims are. Or maybe they support neo-ottomanism?

Paulina
12 Mar 2022  #4954

@Crow, as I wrote already - read the article:

"The Crimean Tatars also faced stigma and discrimination after decades of Soviet propaganda had labelled them as Nazi collaborators, despite tens of thousands of Crimean Tatars having served in the Red Army."

Russians see "Nazis" in Ukraine behind every hospital and in every fridge, don't forget! :))

And in case anyone had still doubts about banning Russian sportsmen:

And in case anyone had still doubts about banning Russian sportsmen:

It isnt any different than forming a swastika, ban them all!

Ukraine behind every hospital and in every fridge, don't forget! :))

The Ruzzznazis are going to suffer huge loses during their urban warfare attempt. Putin wont be able to keep this hidden back home once the bodybags start coming.

Then again, Im starting to wonder if the majority of Russians could be RuzzNazi sympathizers?

Paulina

I've read that over half of Russians support the invasion...

That means tens of millions don`t. Good - there is still hope decent Russians will prevail.

As promised earlier, mega thread by Galeev

includes:

why the army is so bad (it's run by mafia types who steal everything)

why the military is treated as it is (the government is afraid of it and keeps it weak and disorganized on purpose)

the position of state security (actually running things)

why the war started (security types larping as military types not knowing what they're doing)

what the current situation is (begins with f- and ends with -ucked)

rats deserting the sinking ship

public support (still a majority and strongest among the dumber parts of the population who have _no_ idea what's about to hit them)

why the Z? (to not taint the Russian flag)

the end of Russia? (quite possible)

twitter.com/kamilkazani/status/1502673952572854278

Just read and digest, lots to discuss here....

How it was in WW2, decent russians are dead russians, or it was Germans...?

Paulina
12 Mar 2022  #4960

That means tens of millions don`t.

Now I've read that it's two thirds of Russians who support "the special operation in Ukraine" (including according to Levada Center):

wyborcza.pl/7,75399,28196830,dwie-trzecie-popiera-inwazje-takie-dane-sa-niestety-wiarygodne.html

Good - there is still hope decent Russians will prevail.

I don't know about that... The fact that the rest doesn't support it, doesn't mean they're against it (apart from a brave minority that goes to protests) or whether they care at all...

I do wonder if Russians, who support the invasion because of the state propaganda, knew what's really going on - what this "special operation" really looks like - would they change their mind or not? Velund doesn't - he supports it anyway...

Velund

He is a professional troll and open-source intelligence functionary. He does it out of choice due to his convictions and probably for a living, too - expecting him to change his mind is like trying to make a cat eat veg. :):) The same with those other Kremlin agents of influence - Cnrgorac and Bobko. Vlad is a free lancer next to them.

Plane announcement on the Ukraine war: Now the Russian pilot faces up to 15 years in prison

merkur.de/politik/ukraine-krieg-flugzeug-pilot-durchsage-15-jahre-haft-putin-russland-neues-gesetz-91406416.html

Moscow - A Russian pilot of the state airline Pobeda spoke out against the Ukraine war . "I think the war with Ukraine is a crime. We should not continue this war. We should end it immediately." A video on Twitter shows the pilot making his speech on the plane. He now faces up to 15 years in prison. ....

Ach mannoooo.....I posted the link to that video....☹️

But frankly that's why I take our PF-Board-Putinisten not seriously either.....they just have to sell that crap or otherwise the russian secret service comes surely knocking....

Russia resembles more and more the darkest times in european history!

Paulina
12 Mar 2022  #4964

He is a professional troll and open-source intelligence functionary.

The problem is that I've discussed with other Russians like him in the past... Were they all professional trolls? At that time I thought they're the fringe of the Russian society, a nationalistic minority, until I've heard Putin's speech after the annexation of Crimea and I realised that he was repeating what those Russians that I've discussed with were writing... They're completely brainwashed... And maybe there's more to that than just brainwashing... I don't know...

pawian
12 Mar 2022  #4965

And maybe there's more to that than just brainwashing..

Looking into their psyche is a waste of time. This or another reason of their trolling - it doesn`t matter. For decent members of the PF, especially Poles, it matters that we don`t allow them to turn this site into a Kremlin propaganda outlet. :):):)

@pawian, I was talking/wondering about Russians in general, not just about trolls...

Looks like I should try to change my employer. ;) If China will take Taiwan right after closing of Paraolympic games, and TSMC will be out of business for months - I will have serious problems with microcontroller sourcing for my current projects. ;)

If I look so good as open-source intelligence functionary, maybe it will be more profitable than participation in open-source software projects, ;)

Meanwhile, getting back on topic.......

Today, the Polish Parliament passed important laws which :
- legalise the stay of Ukrainians and give access to public services, including healthcare and schools
- create a fund to help local authorities support those fleeing Ukraine
- pay families who host the refugees

polskieradio.pl/395/7784/Artykul/2918721,Polish-parliament-approves-help-for-Ukrainians-fleeing-Russian-invasion

Who told you you look good? No, you look and sound disgusting. Tfu, Putin`s sobaka. . :):):)

Historical analogy No 1 version B

Here is another reminder of how Nazis shelled insurgent Warsaw in 1944 and how today RuSS savages are loyally following their spiritual masters` example, shelling civilian quarters in Ukrainian cities.

This one goes into the "Novi, you are too cynical" folder. From telegraph.com:

Officials in Poland's two largest cities have warned that they can no longer cope with the waves of refugees fleeing Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The mayors of both Warsaw, the capital, and Krakow, Poland's second-largest city, said that they are struggling to accommodate the sheer number of people who are arriving - and urged the United Nations and European Union to intervene.

When I ask "how many are too many", I am a cynic. Now the mayors of Warsaw and Krakow discovered that everything has its limit - generosity, refugees, and the taxpayers' patience. Duh!

So, back to numbers...How many refugees are too many? Yes, I am that cynical and so are those two guys.

Stop playing their game, we can do it if we unite against the evil:

"The war - like the pandemic - is anything but organic. Instead, the war is the crescendo of the NWO dialectic as it will manifest gargantuan systemic problems demanding systemic foundational solutions."

"Everyone will be demanding something be done and the pre-planned solutions will be one-world-government and CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies). These CBDCs will link with your social credit score, vaccine status, and carbon footprint in order to determine your eligibility - in real time - to participate or not participate in the economy."

....they should just send them over to Germany....

Or Russia, yeah, Russia should have to house and feed them and give the medical care and schooling in Russia.

Ya ever think ya may bring it on yourself ?

On Friday, Oryx said 184 Russian tanks had been destroyed, damaged, abandoned or captured.
It said the Russian military had lost 110 armored fighting vehicles,161 infantry fighting vehicles and 63 armored personnel carriers.
Overall, it claimed 1,091 Russian military vehicles had been lost since the start of the war.
Ukraine casualties = 2,000
Russian casualties = 5,000
I wonder what the true figures are as how would anyone really know.

@pawian
I have to disagree. Donetsk and Luhansk are gone. Russia wont be giving them up. Crimea is gone as well. Keeping Odessa and the rest should be the main objectives for Ukraine.

While I was wrong about some cities falling, Kherson is now slated to have a referendum on independence. While a sham of course, this is another indication of how Russia will try to keep these areas. Once they vote for independence, it becomes a bargaining point in a cease fire.

Russia now targeting the weapons everyone is shipping to Ukraine and they just hit a military base outside of Lviv. For Poles this is when you really need to pay attention. This is exactly where and when things could spill over into Poland and then it gets very real very fast.

Russia wont be giving them up

Russia never wanted them (without the rest of a land corridor to Crimea). They were just used to destabilize.

"Russia warns America that it would fire on weapon shipments sent to Ukraine"

Wouldn't that be an act of war on the part of Russia?

It is mindblowing that trucks with Russian and Belarusian plates filled with medical supplies, equipment and spare parts for the Russian army are freely going from the West (mainly Germany) to Belarus through the Polish-Belarusian border, but those people who are transporting stuff for Ukrainians have to fear for their lives!

Can't anyone do anything about those transports for the Russian army (especially if Russians start firing upon transports for Ukraine)??

What kind of sanctions are those if the West is helping the invading army? o_O

Donetsk and Luhansk are gone.(...) Crimea is gone as well. Keeping Odessa and the rest should be the main objectives for Ukraine.

I agree.

Russia never wanted them (without the rest of a land corridor to Crimea). They were just used to destabilize.

Yes and that's the main point - to get rid of a Trojan horse and the Russian excuse to destabilise Ukraine.

@mafketis
Russia will keep Crimea for sure. This war wont end until that is officially part of Russia. Donetsk and Luhansk are likely bargaining chips, but they do have mostly Russian people there, so I think that Putin may want them more than he is willing to just give them up. Odessa is the key IMO.

@Paulina
Its only an act of war if the attacks spill over into Poland. If that happens, which is my concern, then NATO will go in. No doubt in my mind that if an "accidental" bombing takes place on Polish soil that NATO goes in. Putin knows this too, and he has stayed away from those transports until now because of it. But he is getting his a$$ kicked and now has to try to cut off supplies before Russia is decimated in Ukraine.

mafketis
13 Mar 2022  #4979

Donetsk and Luhansk are likely bargaining chips, but they do have mostly Russian people there

That's essentially a Putin lie, the "separatist" leaders were shipped in by Russia

And I think the Russification of Ukraine is definitely over.... People in russian speaking Kharkiv (38 km from the Russian border) are fleeing over a thousand kilometers to Lviv rather than the "safety" of mother Russia.... you're going to have to look with a microscope to find Ukrainians still identifying with Russia after this...

he is getting his a$$ kicked

I'm not sure if that's the right phrasing... his security forces centered state effectively neutered a weak and badly organized army for 20 years and he was too cut off or stupid to know that... and the results in the field are showing Russia to be a paper tiger in terms of traditional military...

Ukrainians are putting up more resistance than anyone imagined but Russia does have numbers and is moving from trying to achieve military goals into full scale destruction... (kind of like the allied bombing raids on Germany toward the end of WWII)

@mafketis
While it may be a Putin lie, those regions have been recognized by the Russian Duma. That is a political statement that cant be easily walked back. How he got those regions I agree with you. Once someone has something though, it is very difficult to get it away from them. Russia has had them for 8 years, and I think they keep them. Just my opinion.

The "spetznaz" or how every you spell it, is not the ones of old. I read a report, they are largely just policemen now and sent to Ukraine to push Russians to keep moving, not to actually fight Ukraines. Lost the link sorry.
