Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

mafketis

And NATO promised not to expand East,

Anything said before 1997/8 (when Russia approved of NATO expansion) is moot.

And Russia promised to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine...

when Russia approved of NATO expansion

Is that in any signed G2G document?

PolAmKrakow

@mafketis
Exactly.

@Novichok
Ukraine has never applied to NATO. You need some paranoia meds like Putin does. There is zero justification for the war. Nothing. And Russia is losing. They will continue to lose. They can not occupy so they will destroy, and then Ukraine will join the EU and rebuild. All Russian dreams realized because of Putin being so stupid.

Ukraine has never applied to NATO.

Good. Now they won't for sure.

Is any agreement before in a signed document?

Last NATO expansion
2004 was admission of countries bordering with Russia. Why no attack there?.
Finns are talking about joining. Why not attack there?

Then why do you claim all the time that this war is about NATO?

NATO expansion ... of countries bordering with Russia

I wonder why countries with looooong histories with Russia might want some kind of hedge against Russian military aggression.... just one of the great unexplained mysteries, I guess....

and then Ukraine will join the EU

Not likely in the nearest 20 years, if ever.

Exactly.
Notice how Putins face is all swelled up ?
That is a typical cause from the over use of steroids.
Putin may now be suffering from Roid Rage.

Roid rage points to a situation in which the excessive use of anabolic steroids creates a crazy, testosterone-driven condition. It doesn't necessarily mean but could that the person becomes angry or starts "raging". In some cases, roid rage could be seen as the steroids themselves raging out of control and creating unwanted effects.

Walt on the other hand has no excuse for his hate.

The mighty legionnaires fled.

"Here, the base has just been destroyed, we are leaving. Among the dead are my friends, so we're running away from there. *cries* The base was destroyed. I need to get myself together. Here, the destroyed base, and they also bombed there. Just. Well, people say it's not true."

"Our base, where we signed a military contract with Ukraine, has just been destroyed. There were dozens of us, only we remained. There were hundreds of soldiers at this base, Americans. One hundred percent of someone is selling information about our base."

You're crying, c*nt, you're crying, this fagot thought it is Africa, and there's a native against him armed with a slingshot and baskets of mango...

I would bet a very large sum of money that the EU makes a special exception to get Ukraine in within five years. Not talking some chicken $hi* amount of money either. Not only will Russia lose the war, but he will lose Ukraine to the EU. Sanctions will continue until Ukraine is completely rebuilt and Russia will be completely destroyed over that same period of time. The 1990's will look like an amazing time when this is done.

@Crnogorac3
Not a single dead US or Canadian reported. More fake news from Russia.

Putin setting up scapegoats.... not the talk of someone winning a war....

twitter.com/maxseddon/status/1504116136966828043

I would be on seizure of assets and maybe a Khmer Rouge Lite version of purging "western" intellectuals (Putin's regime hates and fears the intelligent.... one of the reasons he got himself into this clvsterfvkc....)

Russia's not just back in Soviet space but back in Stalinist times (Putin's a big fan)...

Ukraine got rid of nukes in exchange that RU respected its borders (...) Ukraine should be free to get nukes

I have a better idea. When it all ends, with now inevitable humiliation of Russian freak circus show that they call their army, and Russia is forced to make a deal with the West, begging for at least some sanctions to be lifted, we need to offer a fair deal to them: they will have to get rid of all their nukes and in return NATO will guarantee to respect Russian borders. That's the first point of the future peace agreement.

The second point: what is now known as Russia will be divided in three parts (like nazi Germany was divided after WW2): Muscovy, The Siberian Republic and Greater Mongolia. Of course certain measure of cooperation between the three parts will be allowed, but they will have separate capitals, governments and armies.

The third point: full monopoly on extracting Russian gas and oil will be granted to companies from the largest European NATO country bordering Russia.

The fourth point: Kaliningrad district will be demilitarised (and preferably denazified too), turned into a big museum/theme park of Soviet/Russian crimes and open to tourists.

These are the starting points for the coming peace talks. Am I being too lenient? Any other proposals we should think of?

losing exponentially less than the other side - Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam.

You don't know much U.S. history there, "Pravdduh".The U.S. never even lost a major battle in those countries. Controlled all the infrastructure, communications. Even Tet was put down relatively quick. To "win" those wars , would have meant flooding the whole country with troops - which is ridiculously expensive. Yes , those wars are analogous to Ukraine, except the U.S. never really targeted civilians, schools, hospitals. When it happened it was an aberration, not doctrine. There was collateral, yes, and it remains embarrassing. But really at no time was the US in any kind of real trouble of losing in those engagements. The real "war" was with our media, not the Cong, or Taliban, Iraqis. Right now, a couple of divisions of U.S. army and the Poles would have no problem with the Russians. I can say that with the utmost certainty.

Why thank you, Paulina! :) One tries to be useful and come up with some ideas for future world peace. Just doing my bit. :)

EU makes a special exception to get Ukraine in within five years

I doubt it. I feel like EU officials already secretely decided more or less firmly that Ukraine shell never become part of EU. One of the reasons here is probably because Ukrainians are too similar to Russians culturally and spiritually connected to them including language and Orthodox religion, there are many mixed families. And how you could take in EU brothers and cousins of a someone who is proclaimed the main spiritual enemy by the West? Hate, not rationality. The same goes with Serbia. Also entering EU by itself will not guaranty profound development unless there going to be no Marshall plan for Ukraine like now for Poland. Baltic States, Bulgaria, Romania still are waiting to get any advantages from EU membership. And which EU leaders except Polish and Lithuanian assumed in the last weeks and years that Ukraine should become EU member in 5 years? None, if I no make mistake.

Most probable Russia cleanse Europe from nazis all the way to Brussels. Britain was wise to abandon EU but still, it would be even more wise to refrain itself from supporting nazis.

Reparations! What about the compensation for Ukraine? All the destruction....

One of the reasons here is probably because Ukrainians are too similar to Russians culturally and spiritually connected to them

If there was that fear that had been now laid to rest!

The Ukrainians should use the actual gained respect, sympathy and popularity in the rest of Europe to get in....

Then why do you claim all the time that this war is about NATO?

Because it is. Where Russia draws the red line is up to Russia. They have no obligation to be legally consistent to please PF posters or anybody else.

The US decided that WMDs in Iraq are unacceptable, but those in Pakistan, the home of Osama, were perfectly OK.
