But that's
exactly what Russian invasion of Ukraine "accomplished": Russia turning into a resource base for ever stronger China, and strengthening of the United States. There are only two major winners of this war: USA (which is a good thing) and China (which is not necessarily a good thing). The one, minor winner, is Ukraine, as they will now be accepted as part of the western world and alliance, which will result in drastic improvement of their level of life and their country's international position.
This war, and the ridiculously shameful fall of Russia,
killed all hope of Multi-Polar world. Putin with the epic failure of his "special operation" created a
Bi-Polar world, with only two superpowers - USA and China - for foreseeable future.
So thank you, Mr Putin, for sacrificing your army to change the world from Uni-Polar into Bi-Polar. I wonder how the Chinese managed to convince Putin to conduct the invasion.
Such a masterful manipulation. Oh, well - they are an ancient civilisation after all, and ardent
Wei Chi players, so they are used to planning long-term strategy.
