I doubt the Russian government would be that stupid. If they did that, they would get foreign investors for decades when the war is over.

This is one interesting theory, popular in the Western media. Blame all economic problems in Eastern Europe on corruption. But on other hand Russia has cheap workforce and not too high taxes. Could you explaine how corruption completely halts all the economic growth?

If you are talking about Russia that is because that corruption leads to a lack of trust and a lack of investment.
But all that talk is too late now.
Unless Russia changes and soon.

While Ukrainians have deleted another savage general. It seems they have developed a unique missile which is guided to hit a target festooned with military medals. I had no idea such missiles are produced in Ukraine. Amazing.

I live in London and have seen the obscene wealth of the corrupt Russians here.
We British have been guilty of turning a blind eye to this for many years and taking that filthy money.
The invasion of Ukraine changed all that.
This is a new world order and Russia will never be a part of it unless it accepts massive change.

US farmers already preparing to plant wheat in fields they were paid to leave empty of crops. USA farms are subsidized and the government paid them in the past to limit the amount of wheat they grew, in order to raise prices. Now those same subsidies will be used to give farms the ability to make up for wheat production that is lost. Stabilizing prices by fall without lost production. Russian war brings back American wheat production, another unintended circumstance.

Majority of them are just private owners officially, not government officials.

Russia will now concentrate on fully securing Donbass, to strenghten its position before peace negotiations. This is confirmed by both Pentagon and Russian army command...

...this is nothing else than admitting defeat. Of course, I'm very happy about the Ukrainian victory but also a bit (just a little) sad to see the extent of Russian fall. You're saddened by this? One of the most dangerous regime's ever is a shadow of itself now. It's a huge plus for Europe and NATO. Russia can't intimidate it's neighbors now.

But still, to see your greatest enemy, country that very recently - through Putin's ideologues like Dugin - denied you the very right to existence, tried to intimidate you and the entire world with nuclear weapons, organised energy blackmail against you (in cooperation with Germany), put Iskander rockets and nuclear weapons right next to your borders, concentrated troops in Królewiec district on an unseen scale, conducted military manouvers close to your borders with simulation of nuclear attack on you etc. etc. - to see such enemy fall like a rag doll to a relatively new country, with post-Soviet economy and high levels of corruption of their own, is a sad sight to behold. :-/

I don't know if you catch my drift, but here in Poland we feel like... how to put it... being afraid for so many years of a big scary lion, which in 29 days turned out to be just a small retarded pussy cat. :-/

But that's exactly what Russian invasion of Ukraine "accomplished": Russia turning into a resource base for ever stronger China, and strengthening of the United States. There are only two major winners of this war: USA (which is a good thing) and China (which is not necessarily a good thing). The one, minor winner, is Ukraine, as they will now be accepted as part of the western world and alliance, which will result in drastic improvement of their level of life and their country's international position.

This war, and the ridiculously shameful fall of Russia, killed all hope of Multi-Polar world. Putin with the epic failure of his "special operation" created a Bi-Polar world, with only two superpowers - USA and China - for foreseeable future.

So thank you, Mr Putin, for sacrificing your army to change the world from Uni-Polar into Bi-Polar. I wonder how the Chinese managed to convince Putin to conduct the invasion. Such a masterful manipulation. Oh, well - they are an ancient civilisation after all, and ardent Wei Chi players, so they are used to planning long-term strategy.
