Have to disagree. Poland announced they wanted to have the US do the delivery after Poland turned Ukraine pilots away when they showed up in Warsaw. That's the timeline. Poland made the public announcement about wanting to transfer through Germany USA base without USA knowing. Of course USA said no. Poland wants to deliver planes they can do it on their own. Since when does the US have to be a middle man? NATO did not agree to this before or after Polands announcement. Its just black and white.

I think we're getting caught up in the miniature of procedure , i assume we both agree that Ukraine deserves all the Migs and the tanks and the s-300's and all the weapons the ukris are already trained on and can use now. bit different training for these advanced things than some hand held anti tank weapons etc, ie they need serious hardware, so how many excuses do we need from the west? Poland is pushing the west the right direction and for that they deserve credit.

The guy is a terrible speaker. I know he stuttered as a kid, but man its bad. Anyway, I watched the speech. Good message and good content. If Putin crosses the NATO line, NATO will move quickly. I have no doubt NATO is prepared for Article 5 at this point. 100K US troops in Europe now, was a nice bit of information.

In sentiment I agree with you. In practicality I dont. Lets go in and destroy the Russian army in Ukraine. 100% on that. Then lets just play the long game and starve Russia from food and technology until Putin is removed. There is no need for any invasion of Russia. The people will eventually take him out, they always do. Going into Moscow or Russia without a direct attack on the US or NATO doesn't make sense. That said, if something happens to NATO country, yes, there should be no stopping in destroying Russian military and infrastructure and sending them back to the dark ages. But that would be another world war and would take years of fighting. Russia is too big and too many insurgencies would take place. Starve them first, then lets see what happens.

Putin uses magic like Porry Hatter. Successfully.

So far he has:

- made Ukraine united
- made NATO and the EU united
- made Poland great again
- made Germans change their minds about RuSSia
- made Russia the pariah of the world
- made Russians impoverished people.
- made a large part of the Russian army vanish into thin air.
