I recently read some very interesting articles about Urban Warfare. Not only does destroying a city make it often more difficult for attackers to advance, since the defenders get even more cover. You also need approx. 5 attackers for 1 defender ( in contrast to normal assaults when you need 3 attackers for each defender). Khariv and Odessa have tens of thousands of potential defenders. Russia would have to focus all of its current forces just on one city in order to take it, which would Ukrainian forces give the opportunity for counterattacks. It is not impossible, but I think there is ground for optimism.

The act provides for, inter alia, the introduction of an embargo on coal imports from Russia, as well as the possibility of freezing the assets of entities and persons supporting Russia's aggression towards Ukraine.

It would be nice if the US signed a similar law concerning scum who promote Russia, the war, and Putin. Officially making it a crime to be an active troll would eliminate at least a few people here, if not by arrest, then out of fear of it, because in the end, they are all cowards.

With the flagship sinking, Russia is in trouble. News broke last night that they can not produce more of their hypersonic missiles due to the sanctions blocking critical technical hardware from getting to Russia. With no replacement hardware, no new bombs. No new bombs means they can run out of their stockpile. Looks like old Vlad is in deeper trouble than many could have imagined.

Imagine how things go when tanks and other weapons newly approved by the US get to Ukraine in the next week. Other reports are now saying the US no longer has a fear of Russian aggression against a NATO country, and that NATO is prepared.

So again I have to wonder where all the Putin @$$ lickers will go when he is defeated, dead or both?
