pawian

First Ukrainian refugees are arriving in the border city of Przemyśl. Already a few thousand.

But Russians entering Brussels

Before they reach Brussels, they will have to fight against Poles. Bugger off.

We congratulate you. Now you have a chance to demonstrate Christian virtues and show that you have forgiven and forgotten the Volyn massacre and are willing to turn the other cheek... ;)

you have forgiven and forgotten the Volyn massacre

Which point is it in the Kremlin propaganda textbook???

Darling, we forgave Germans, so we can also forgive Ukrainians. Especially now when they are defending Europe against Russ-Asian savages.

chance to demonstrate Christian virtues

Yes, that will be a good opportunity. I can read residents of Przemyśl are offering their private accommodation to refugees who are mostly the elderly and females with kids. .

There is a lot of other ways to Brussels, of course. Germans also decided not to attack Magino line in the past.... ;)

Don`t be silly. Russ-Asian savages don`t have so many elephants to cross the Carpathians and Alps in Hannibal style. Ha!

Germans are decent people. If I have to trust to someone my life - I choose German over Englishman in any time of day. But former austro-hungarian serfs it is totally different story. Dramatically different.

You have to dig much deeper than western MSM show you, to understand everything.

I did. I discussed with Russians for years. I know the point of view of the other side. And I do have empathy for it.

Lithuania on a state level prohibit use ot Polish language, close Polish schools, practice brainwashing to make from native Poles

None of it justifies a military invasion and killing people. Russia should learn to talk with it's neighbours. I'm not saying that Ukrainians didn't make any mistakes. They did. But so did Russia. None of this had to end with bloodshed though.

But, ultimately, it is Russia that is invading Ukraine and not the other way around.

Btw, Poles in Belarus don't have it easy either. But Poland isn't invading Belarus because of this.

ready to kill people who like Polish heritage...

The fact that you "think" that some people may be ready to kill someone or that the Russian TV told you that they're ready to do that isn't a proof for anything. You and Russian TV aren't telepaths. It's pure fantasy. There has been no ethnic cleansing on Russians in Ukraine and so there's no sane reason for a military intervention and killing people.

You claim that some people in Ukraine were ready to kill Russians for liking Russian heritage. But that didn't happen. However, what we can see is Russian soldiers not only "ready" to kill Ukrainians, including innocent civillians... but they are actually doing it... Your soldiers are invading a neighbouring, Slavic country and killing it's people. No kind of bullsh1t can change those facts.

I read again. Good that Russia controls Chernobyl. Very good.

Yes, Kremlin trolls are struggling and biting, but at least here they are wasting their time.

Russia should learn to talk with it's neighbours.

We practiced for eight years. After every shelling of Donetsk and Luhansk, after burying civilian victims, we tried to remind them of the Minsk agreements (II). Eventually, the vessel of patience dried up completely, and now the purge will be over regardless of the volume of squealing from the western side.

The normal civilians, who are lucky enough not to live close to the military installations, did not even notice that the polite people in dark green had already arrived. But the Nazis from the Azov battalion were in for a surprise - they are surrounded, and Kadyrov's Chechens, who have had an irrepressible love for them since the war in Chechnya, are coming to them. ;)

I pity the Russians. Dragged into a War they do not want which will them suffer serious long-term consequences and see them villified for decades at best.

Putin's justifications are of all course lies, though it does take a special kind of cynicism for a president who is sponsoring right-wing and fascist groups everywhere in Europe to claim that he wants to "denazify" Ukraine.

Don`t be silly.

You are watching a way too much TV. Away with your silly rhetoric.

but execute orders from abroad instead.

Indeed a Russian paranoia is a well known fact.

We practiced for eight years.

No, you didn't. And that was too late for talking anyway. I meant the time before the annexation of Crimea. That was the time when you still had a chance to learn to talk with your neighbours. Not only with Ukraine, but also with Poland and the Baltics. You failed to see in us people with their reasons stemming from terrible history, instead of just "Russophobes" and "Nazis". You failed to respect us, our countries, our history, our sovereignty, our worries and our right to make a choice. It's too late. Noone will talk to you now, because we know now what you're really like and what you're capable of.

The normal civilians, who are lucky enough not to live close to the military installations,

And what about those who weren't and aren't lucky enough? And the invasion just started. There will be more casualties.

After every shelling of Donetsk and Luhansk

It is a real shame that your only source of news is Russian.....if you you could access news from around the world you would soon realise that you were being fed Russian propaganda.

They say that ignorance is bliss.

Dragged into a War they do not want which will them suffer serious long-term consequences

Like during WW1. When they had enough, they abolished the tsar. :):)

You are watching a way too much TV

Darling, I don`t watch TV at all. If you do, I don`t mind, but you don`t need to advertise it all over the forum coz it isn`t a big deal ,really. :):)

Away with your

What exactly? :):)

Russians need to abolish their current tsar.....and quickly....before he does something even more stupid.

Russians need to abolish their current tsar.

He just proved to the world what a murderous tyrant he truly is....

Russians need to abolish their current tsar.....

They won't. The majority of Russians like what he's doing. Putin wouldn't be doing it, if he couldn't count on the support or at least indifference of the majority of the Russian society, imho.

special kind of cynicism for a president who is sponsoring right-wing and fascist groups everywhere in Europe to claim that he wants to "denazify" Ukraine.

True lol

Fcuk.. My source of news is my exGF, who fought in Donetsk militia since beginning in 2014 (as it is her home city) and till 2020. Talked to her today, she got a call from home and shared the news from someone we both know well. And yes, she is listed on infamous "Peacekeeper" website....

So, it is hard to convince me that I'm reading too much Putin propaganda.

What about Ukrainian forces? They say it anti-aircraft defense is done for. If they have other systems working like that they will crumble in three or four days. If they keep Russian forces away from Kiev and central Ukrainie for about two, three weeks Russian offensive will crumble.

Miloslaw
24 Feb 2022  #1583

He just proved to the world what a murderous tyrant he truly is.

Indeed. And that will be the beginning of the downfall of Russia.
The end of the concept of a United Slav union, when Bielorussian Slavs and Russian Slavs invaded and killed Ukrainian Slavs.
Goodbye Russia and goodbye to their pathetic lapdogs like Serbia!
Good riddance to all of this scum!

Velund

If they keep Russian forces away from Kiev

Kiev airport already controlled by russian troops, as well as Antonov plant airstrip (cannot remember its name). So...

Vlad1234
24 Feb 2022  #1585

They say it anti-aircraft defense is done for.

It makes me wonder how fast it was done. Ukraine itself produces an advanced anti-aircaft systems (some of them or vehicle-mounted). There was a scandal in the past when Ukraine sold such systems to Iraq. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolchuga_passive_sensor

How few Ukraine have them, that Russia located and destroyed all of them so easily?!

Miloslaw
24 Feb 2022  #1586

The majority of Russians like what he's doing

I am not convinced about that.
The majority of Russians may be apathetic, because they have to struggle to survive.
But Ilke what he is doing?
Against their "Ukranian Brorhers"?
I am not so sure.

My source of news is my exGF

Oh, so that is a really reliable source of unbiased news LOL!!!!
Please try harder.....

Velund
24 Feb 2022  #1587

Oh, so that is a really reliable source of unbiased news LOL!!!!

Reliable enough, from a practical point of view. Much more reliable and precise that any of british newspapers. At least I know (closely ;) ) those who tell me that news, and there is no reasons to lie.

Miloslaw
24 Feb 2022  #1588

Reliable enough,

Mate, that is not news, it is hearsay..... Be sensible now and search foreign news sources from across the globe.
Or do you not have access to them in Russia?

Velund
24 Feb 2022  #1589

Or do you not have access to them in Russia?

There is no unbiased mesia on the West who had reporters on DNR/LNR side. So, a questionable hole in the wall of kindergarten (with all windows intact) was in every website and newspaper, but two schools that was destroyed same week on other side was NEVER mentioned. Also as killed civilians on another side. TOTAL SILENCE!

Paulina
24 Feb 2022  #1590

But Ilke what he is doing?

Yes. Read what Velund is writing. That's the way they're thinking. And, unlike Velund, majority of Russians don't know English language, they've never been abroad and all they watch is Russian state TV and they're reading Russian internet. They even have Russian version of Google - Yandex and Russian version of Facebook - VK (VKontakte). Btw, in 2014 VK was taken over by the Russian state and it's founder got fired and went to live abroad. Imagine if the US state took over Facebook and Zuckerberg had to flee abroad.

Do you know why the founder of VK was fired? Because in 2014 he refused to give away the personal data of Ukrainian protestors to Russian security authorities (VK was also present in Ukraine) and he refused to block the profile of Alexei Navalny on VK.

Russians live in an information bubble. In an alternate reality. You could say that Russia is truly... a different state of mind.
