Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Velund

Friend of mine just shared info that there was a lot of heavy transport plane departures from airbase near their home. 700 km to Kiev from there. If this is troops carriers - this is less than hour of flight.

PS: Looks like China started to work on their own Ukraine (I mean Taiwan) this night.

that is not news, it is hearsay.

Where are the news outlets getting their info? A person on the ground in the area affected may be a better source than a western journalist on a hotel balcony somewhere in the Capital's city center.

Dragged into a War

War is when both sides are shooting. Putin wants the Western puppet replaced with his own. Is anything wrong with that? We have been doing it for decades. Including the US now.

sponsoring right-wing and fascist groups everywhere in Europe to claim that he wants to "denazify" Ukraine.

Playing stupid again...and forgetting that there are two kinds of Nazis. Your Nazis - bad Nazis. My Nazis - good Nazis. See how simple life is when you don't play stupid.

Only the fact that overwhelming majorioty of people in Ukraine want their country to belong to the EU and NATO whilst hardly anyone is dreaming of becoming a part of Putin's USSR bis. But hey, why should the people of Ukraine have anything to say about their country and their lives, right?

Only the fact that overwhelming majorioty of people in Ukraine

Majority in Ukraine wanted EU and balanced stance on Russia and didn`t want NATO. Then western Europe and USA sponsored Maiden that ruined Ukraine. Rest is history.

Maiden that ruined Ukraine.

No. Russo-Asian savages are ruining Ukraine now.

Rest is history.

Yes, it will go down in history as an onslaught of Russo-Asian barbarism onto Europe.

He is projecting Yugoslav neutrality stance, Ukraine tried the same path. Now it's experiencing something very similar just that instead of U.S bombs on Belgrade there are Russian shells on Kiev.

He can't see it, but in some sense he is supporting the very same doom scenario that happened to Yugoslavia-> Serbia

In his blindness he wants what he experienced on all slavs

Ukrainian civilians from Kiev taking shelter in the underground from Russo-Asian attack. Reminds me of Brits hiding in London Tube from Nazi air raides during WW2. Shocking analogy.

One of the things I pity in my life is not owning a manor to house as many as possible. In the company I work at we are working on bringing Ukrainian employees to Poland and what the options are

Ukranian Foreign Minister wrote:
Horrific Russian rocket strikes on Kyiv. Last time our capital experienced anything like this was in 1941 when it was attacked by Nazi Germany. Ukraine defeated that evil and will defeat this one. Stop Putin. Isolate Russia. Severe all ties. Kick Russia out of everywhete.

Shocking analogy.

Guys, have you seen other pictures of the effects of Russo-Assian barbarism in action?

I rather not, I am fully aware of the capabilities of the Russian soldiers. Wether it was during ww2, in Georgia or nowadays in Ukraine.

Rather then people being subjecated to God and being Gods servents they want to subjecate people for themselves - thinking serving their ego is good. They are blind and perform evil, at who they claim to be their slavic brethren through centuries.

They are no better then muslims, mongols are anybody similar

Well, at least the American leadership has been a welcome surprise so far. Some people laughed at Biden when he said that Russia was going to invade and even mentioned the precise date. Turns out he was right, and now he is spearheading the Western response while reassuring the Eastern Europeans. Imagine what would have happened if Trump was still president. He would have mocked the intel and by now openly sided with Putin. It is not just American democracy that dodged a bullet when he lost the election, it was all of Europe as well.

Ukraine soldiers tell Russian ship to go F themselves before being bombed to death. That is fighting spirit.

No. Russian has not taken Kiev for all the trolls. They are bombing it and killing civilians. This is the mighty Russia. And now there are reports of hit squads in Ukraine trying to get to the President and his family. Nothing like killing family members to show how tough you are.

The worlds largest chip maker, has agreed to cut off Russia from technology as well. That war chest will do no good without banks and technology. While Ukraine will likely fall, Russia just started a new cold war, one where they will suffer even more than the first one.

Imagine what would have happened if Trump was still president

Trump kept oil prices low enough that Putin couldn't afford to invade. Biden's policies raised them enough that he could...

Is anything wrong with that?

Why yes there is and don't play your "А у вас негров линчуют" games here, Soviet scum.

Tacitus

Putin couldn't afford to invade.

Laughable. Putin does not care about economic consequences for his country, as if that would have been an issue. There is always money for the military in Russia. Trump has been praising Putin after his attack, and yet you believe that je would habe handled it better?

PolAmKrakow

@Tacitus
Trump, was impeached for withholding nearly $400 million in military aid from Ukraine, said the country's current crisis "would never have happened" if he were still in office.

People need to start remembering the actual history of Trump and other US leaders in the senate, not some BS propaganda. Trump was Putin's bi*ch and puppet. A toothless tiger.

Biden, for as old and senile as he is, has done a great job listening to his military and CIA. Everything they said would happen has happened almost exactly how they said it would happen. That is what a president should do. Not go to Russia, North Korea and other turd world countries and kiss a$$.

Well.....Stalin wasn't that unhappy about the pact with Nazis...he became an enemy of the Nazis as Hitler made the error to attack him....so....one could think it isn't the Nazi per se which is the problem!

Putin wants the Western puppet replaced with his own. Is anything wrong with that?

When Ru*sia takes down the current government and install a friendly to them one, what next? If they leave, how will it survive when in 2014 without military invasion the pro-rursian one was toppled? It would be unsustainable without actual occupation of Ru*sian troops to stay and guard it. The moment Ukraine holds elections it will revert back to pro western and pro NATO even more. If I follow that logic I can't see how Ukraine will be a country anymore. I predict that some form of either annexation or destruction of the Ukraine state is the end goal here, otherwise permanent occupation is needed to keep it from never drifting west/NATO.

Nazi as the common political slur used by Soviets and their ilk = projection, accusing others of what they are doing.

What could be more nazi-like than invading a non-hostile country?

Putin -= real Nazi

German politician in Bundestag: We have no moral right to criticize, remember Serbia

A German politician from the AfD stated in the Bundestag that Germany has no moral basis to criticize the violation of international law due so-called Kosovo.

Namely, the head of the foreign policy committee of that party, Petr Bystron, said in front of the German envoys on Thursday that Germany lacks a moral basis for criticizing violations of international law when it comes to Russia's attack on Ukraine, because it did the same on the so-called Kosovo.

"We from the AfD are of the opinion that someone can be criticized for non-compliance with the rules only if he adheres to the rules himself. We lack the moral basis to criticize Russia for the same violation," Bystron explained.

A voice of reason, coming from the German Bundestag.

Germany has changed....overnight....

We were wrong. Large parts of the political left in Germany clung to an illusion to the last. And not just her; Basically, the government's actions in recent years have also been based on this wishful thinking. The misconception in a nutshell: Putin is an autocrat and his actions are not legitimate, but he can be contained through patient talks, economic ties and restraint in the Russian neighborhood. The NATO eastward expansions were therefore either fundamentally a mistake or at least could not be continued. Do not provoke the Kremlin!

The shameful realization: That was never the point. Vladimir Putin is demonstrating unscrupulous imperialism in Ukraine today. This can no longer be explained as a reaction to a perceived encirclement by NATO. In fact, a European security architecture that included Russia would not have provided any security against a Russian government that is striving to incorporate former Soviet states.

Balts, Poles, Ukrainians, who were long smiled at as paranoid because of an allegedly exaggerated need for security, were correct. As of now, deterrence has been more successful than offers. The Eastern European NATO countries are at peace, Ukraine is at war....

Putin has no idea what that bitter realization will mean for Europe and in consequence for him....

...Of course, your own security is also about military issues, which from now on are subject to completely new assumptions. Are our defense spending really enough? Should more troops go to neighboring countries to the east? Shouldn't Sweden and Finland quickly join NATO? Principles falter today.
