Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

"European Union leaders reeled in shock following the latest video call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who addressed them in a way similar to a final goodbye, according to Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov."

"Petkov also said that Russian troops sent to Ukraine were not aware of the operation and thought this was some sort of drill. Young guys on both sides are dying because of one leader who stands at the long table and makes the decisions. These sanctions won't hurt Putin, but we can't stand idly by," Petkov said, noting that Russia "is absolutely not interested in what Europe is doing."

Putin reportedly fainted when he read this...

'Japan must clearly show its position that we will never tolerate any attempt to change the status quo by force,' Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters Friday while announcing new punitive measures that included freezing the visas and assets of Russian groups, banks, and individuals, and the suspension of shipments of semiconductors and other restricted goods to Russian military-linked organizations.

This coming from the people who made the German war criminals cringe. STFU and have your sushi.

but we can't stand idly by, Petkov said,

OK, so what's next? How about sit idly...Better?

From yahoo.com:

NATO's secretary-general calls Ukraine invasion by Russia 'cold blooded' and 'long planned'

Wow! What a genius! Or, we say in "America", no sh*it!

I meant in Russia.

This is Strela-10 (NATO reporting name: SA-13 Gopher) short range SAM vehicle. Old Soviet system that withdrawn from russian army many years ago. Still used by ukrainian army.

So, NY Post publish fakes, oriented to completely stupid readers.

I think that if Russians will force Ukrainians to stop war in Donbass and disband army it will be only for good of Ukrainians. At least they will need carry military expenses no more and will be able to concentrate on peacefull development. Also Ukraineis going nothing to loose if Zelenski will go, obviously.

Hahaha You are nuts. Disband army? Who will defend Ukraine and Europe against Russo-Asian savages?? Forget it.

going nothing to loose if Zelenski will go,

And will be replaced by Russo-Asian barbaric regime like the one in Donbas so far? No, darling, Ukrainians thank you for such a development. It is obvious they prefer to die standing than living on their knees in the oppression of Russo-Asian barbarism.

PS. I see it is going to be another busy day for Russ-Asian savage trolls here. ":):)

@Vlad1234, I think that if the world forces Russians to stop the invasion on Ukraine and disband the army, it will only be for good of Russians. At least they will need not carry military expenses anymore and will be able to concentrate on peaceful development. Also, Russians are going to lose nothing if Putin goes, obviously.

I think it is amazing for the trolls to continue posting here. What impact can you be making? Public opinion is not going to change, attitudes are not going to change, and it does nothing but paint the picture of how desperate Russia is to be accepted. Tough talkers, and keyboard gangsters probably living in their mom's basement.

Russia will take Ukraine any day now. Though they are taking a lot of losses. In the end, if the Russian sphere of influence or Russian border is expanded in this way, you only bring NATO to your new borders, and now NATO is ready. When the Germans actually cave in to the rest of the West and remove Russia from SWIFT, it is over for Russian people. It is essentially a nuclear financial bomb. It will not hurt Putin or his inner circle, but it will starve out the rest of Russian people. This is what the great Putin will do to his people.

There is no going back now. This new era, a new cold war will not end in most of our lifetimes. Anyone thinking this will be over next year is delusional. When all visa's are taken away for all Russian people in all area's of the West, it gets real for the wealthy Russians, and that is likely coming soon. Its long over due. Russia brings nothing to the table that the West can not produce itself. Lock them all down inside their freezing borders

Objectively. Putting our personal sympathies (which, in case of any decent person, are obvious in this case) aside, we have to say that Russians are making a complete bollox of this invasion. It is Day 3 and:

- despite attacking Ukraine from 3 directions (practically an encirclement battle) they achieved none of their strategic goals nor taken any major city;

- they managed to turn the entire civilised world against them by shelling children hospitals, kindergartens and civilian buildings (which they did on purpose, claiming that Ukrainian forces hid rocket launchers there - according to Pieskow)

- they created martyrs in the Snake Island defenders, who will forever become a heroic symbol of Ukrainian defiance and Russian cowardice (they killed border guards, who didn't even have any anti-ship weapons or proper shelter to hide from fire - because it wasn't even a military facility, merely a border guard outpost);

- they suffered heavy losses in men and equipment in just 2 days of invasion, so it's not a blitzkrieg by any means;

- the bogus excuse that they invented for the invasion (denazification of Ukraine) is so idiotic that it makes them look like complete and utter retards in the eyes of the world.

So much in just 2 days! I'm afraid to think what they will "accomplish" in Day 3.

When the Germans actually cave in to the rest of the West and remove Russia from SWIFT, it is over for Russian people.

For now the West doesn't hurry with devastation sanctions.I think they already decided to surrender Ukraine to Russia. They don't even talk from refusing from Russian oil.

You know, to be honest, at this point I'm thinking - f*ck Donetsk and Luhansk. Ukraine should get rid of them (and thus any pretext for Russia to invade), give them away to Russia. Having an independent country is far more important. In this way Putin would save his face and withdraw the army from Ukraine, because he could say at home that he got what he wanted and Ukrainians would keep an independent country with their own government. A win-win situation for everyone.

What do you think? Is that possible?

Russia didn't want them. He wanted to use them to force Ukraine to 'federalize' so that he could use them to disrupt things.

The people there are mostly apathetic and apolitical and just want to be fed (the " pro-Russian separatists" were shipped in).

This all from a friend with family (still) there.

When the Germans actually cave in to the rest of the West and remove Russia from SWIFT

If, not when. I think SWIFT sanctions should be implemented NOW. They could be lifted once Russia withdraws from Ukraine, so it's not like they're going to be forever in place. I think it's important to do it now, because once Russia takes over Ukraine, it's going to be too late - Putin won't let go of Ukraine that easily once he conqueres it. He has to be shown that the West means it, that they're serious and that they didn't give up on Ukraine. Putin and Russians respect only strength and those who are strong and decisive.

Russia didn't want them.

I'm not saying it did. I'm asking whether that could be the solution to the situation. They could become "independent republics" if Russia doesn't want them lol

Chinese banks are slowly stopping conducting transactions with Russia to avoid western sanctions...

...and China is gradually withdrawing to a more neutral position...

It looks like Russian attempt at sucking Chinese d*icks in hope to win their support weren't successful. China said: "stop sucking, there will be no love between us". xD

I guess he will demand Ukraine to disband their army because where is a guaranty they will not denounce all agreements when Russia withdrawes and start war in Donbass once again? (Now reinforced with US weapons).

Ukraine should get rid of them

I guess Russia will demand to recognize their independence in their initial administrative borders (which are 3 times larger than their present controlled territory) for which current Ukr. govt. will never agrees. Therefore change of the govt. and a new puppet govt. is the only option for Putin. But in this case what is sense for Putin to stop on Donbass? He could proceed with Novorossia...

Ukrainian defense tightens and Russian morale plummets. Latest update on Russian losses:

- 14 planes
- 8 choppers
- 102 tanks
- 15 artillery guns
- 3500 soldiers KIA
- 200 soldiers POW

onet.pl/informacje/onetwiadomosci/atak-rosji-na-ukraine-straty-rosjan/6csdr8e,79cfc278

...and it's only the beginning of Day 3. Ukraine alone is putting up a really good fight. This puts Russian army's "superpower" into a very serious question.

Professional military anaysis show that Russians are still, in a typically Soviet manner, diregarding their own soldiers' lives, whilst Ukrainians are conducting a very skillful NATO-style manoeuvering defense. All those years of NATO standards training are now paying off for the Ukrainian forces.

I'm reading in different places that Ukrainians need weapons and ammunition:

wiadomosci.wp.pl/bitwa-o-kijow-nie-dla-wszystkich-starczylo-broni-przygotowalismy-dla-rosjan-koktajle-molotowa-6741391191165440a

When the US offered to evacuate Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, this was his answer:

"The fight takes place here. I need ammunition, not travels."

The West and Poland could do at least this much - send them what they need, so their resistance wouldn't wane. It's crucial to do it now, because Ukraine was taken by surprise with this invasion. They need time to recover, gather themselves up and to know that they have the support of normal, democratic countries, that they aren't left alone.

I guess he will demand Ukraine to disband their army

That's completely unrealistic, insane and it's not going to happen. No independent country is going to disband their army.

where is a guaranty they will not denounce all agreements when Russia withdrawes and start war in Donbass once again?

Well, I doubt Ukrainians would like to be invaded by Russia again. Now they know how serious Putin is about this. And I think Ukraine would respect the agreement if Russia would leave the rest of Ukraine alone and if the big powers would be the mediators - the US, the EU and China.

but no sanctions to Russia

That's a useless statement. It's good that Serbia isn't in the EU then - they would be yet another Russian Trojan horse and roadblock to sanctions.

I guess Russia will demand

I guess it could be up for negotiations. Ukrainians would have to decide what they're ready to agree to. That's what negotiations and peace talks are for.

Btw, where the hell is the UN when it's needed?? Is it a complete joke already?

His only goal with Novorossija (a phony gay concept) was to get a land bridge to Crimea because otherwise it's an expensive white elephant (suffering a lot under Ukrainian mismanagement).

@Paulina

Take it easy. It's beginning to look good for Ukraine. China is turning away from Russia, even Russia's allies are beginning to be cautious (Kazakhstan) and Putin is making a complete bollox of this invasion. Let's not give in to Putin's demands just yet - the scales are tipping.

German politician in Bundestag: We have no moral right to criticize, remember Serbia

politician from the AfD stated in the Bundestag that Germany has no moral basis to criticize the violation of international law due so-called Kosovo.

...and China is gradually withdrawing to a more neutral position...

China looks to itself. Coordination with Russia when necessary. Relations between these two powers is strictly business.

When one of these days China move to annex (liberate) Taiwan, coordination with Russia would happen only if necessary.

That's a useless statement.

To strangers for sure. But its good to Serbs and Slavic world.

In history books the victorious war against Russia in 2022 will be as important to Ukraine as victorious war against Russia in 1920 was for Poland. A major defining point of identity and pride.

What victorious war in 1920? Poland was lost and silent, loyal to its rulers from AH. Poland was shame shadow of itself from previous ages. Russia gave support to Serbia after AH attacked, no matter that Russia wasn`t prepared to that war. Then, with Vatican`s, Germanic and Anglo penetration of communist Lenin into Russia, happened chaos of Civil war and Russia collapsed, fell in communism.

Poland? Thanks to Serbs Poland even came in situation to be free. Remember? Not thanks to Vatican, AH, France, Britain or USA. Thanks to Serbian resistance to same those to whom Poland was silent and obedient and whom is obedient today no matter they passionately hate Poland.

Poland should awake and be balanced at least as much as Serbia is.
