Where were you and Paulina
I was still young then, but I was against Bush's invasion on Iraq, because before it happened I watched a documentary in which a guy from an Iraqi opposition said that invasion would be a bad idea and he explained why. Everything he said got fulfilled later on, unfortunately. And so in the first elections I took part in I voted for a party (the Civic Platform - PO) that promised to take out Polish soldiers from Iraq. But the premature withdrawal of coalition forces turned out to be another mistake - it gave rise to ISIS.
Btw, that documentary was shown on cable TV - on Planete channel. I'm pretty sure majority of Poles didn't see it.
The thing is, thanks to the freedom of speech Americans and Poles and the media in our countries can criticize the governments who make mistakes. Thanks to this we can at least learn on those mistakes and draw conclusions. We can debate stuff. I can't see that in Russia.
And yesterday I've read that Russians are going to be punished for using non-state media. I asked Velund two times if it's true, but he didn't answer.
