Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Seriously J.R. I believe that will be the first proxy battle in the big upcoming war of the West against China!

As you already wrote Russia and China are getting closer, Putin looking for help and China is always eager to get their claws into Europe, one way or the other.

Ukraine is a pretence...behind that are much bigger fish to fry....Europe aka Ukraine is the first drawn line where the West will make a stand!

Not paying for that now will prove desastreous for the american taxpayer later on....when all allies are gone the US alone will be easy prey.

Russia's financial transfer system does have quite a few banks. All within Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland, Turkey and Iran. Now the Swiss are not going to do anything to **** off the rest of the EU or USA. Germany is not going to do any business even with access to the system. The rest can do nothing much to help Russia.

Without access to the USD, Euro and Pound, Russia has nothing but liquids that no one can buy in any volume that would prop up their own currency and economy. Wealth will be in farm land and those who can produce for themselves and their families. Cut them off, and starve them out.

No one will take the Rubble. The currency is already in the toilet. Russia is painting themselves into a corner. This is a typical ego move by a typical tyrant controlling one country. Wanting to create his legacy before he dies. He may well gain back some of the former USSR territories only to have them slip away again after he is gone.

As far as I am concerned, Euros and Russia can go to hell. Just do drag the US into another Eurodrama.

In many ways it appears that Putin is playing chess, while the West is playing checkers, such as NATO moving troops to Eastern Europe while leaving Ukraine exposed.

Russia only has designs on eastern Ukraine and our assessment is that Russia has the non-dollar reserves, power over EU energy flows, popular support in Russia and firepower to accomplish their goal of a USSR-style buffer zone separating them from the West.

LGBT soldiers could be very efficient in some cases indeed. For example when you need to make speak some captured soldier or officer as soon as possible.

As a Pole, the descendant of all Poles who used to fight in wars, risings, conflicts etc to secure the independence of the country, I have to say that it is. And even when it isn`t, there is still honour for which you can fight. :):) Didn`t you hear about one of the Polish mottos?: God, Honour, Fatherland.

However, Ukrainians will do as they feel - it is their choice.

Yesterday, the Polish Parliament tried to adopt a unanimous declaration of solidarity with Ukraine threatened with the Russian invasion. The declaration wasn`t passed coz one party refused to join - nationalist/far right Konfederacja. They are known to be Kremlin stooges and 5th column in Poland. If Russia attacked and occupied Poland, they would be the first to create the puppet government. Tfu!

Traitors, pure and simple. Neo-soviets who must be kept far from power.
