Good post. It is past being over for Russia now. If Ukraine does not fall with this current convoy from Belarus on the way, the Ukraine will be in the EU. This is inevitable now. NATO? I don't think so, but it could happen.
For Russia it is over. This stain will last for at least a decade. The sanctions in place will remain until Ukraine is free and borders are secure, which may take years. Russia will be nothing more than it was for 50 years of the USSR at that point. Technology will not be available to them and western goods will be gone. A newer and much more harsh cold war is upon us.
Soon, it would not surprise me to see the internet be shut off to Russia. That would be a devastating blow, and it could easily happen as it has been done by China in China for its own people on occasion. Imagine being completely locked within your own borders. Now that would be poetic Russian justice.
Lots of Ukraine people in Krakow now. It was a bit stunning to see so many lined up to receive aid packages. Every one of them being taken care of. Poles are giving and it really is refreshing to the unity. This is a unity Russians will never know.
