And they still can`t conquer it. And they never will.
LOL except even Zydensky said that now Russia controls 1/5 of the country. Zydensky is begging Putin in negotiations for Russia to pull out and go back to pre-Feb 2022 territory, meaning that he's already given up on taking back Crimea.
Zydensky's army is nearly wiped out. They're experiencing far greater losses percentage wise than Russia. Even though more Russian soldiers were killed than Ukranians, the Russians can sustain the losses since they have at least 1-1.3 mln troops plus 2 mln reserves
In fact, Zydensky even said himself that Ukraine is losing some 700 troops daily. They can't sustain that for very long. They mounted a fierce resistance in the beginning but all it did was delay the inevitable. Now Russia is taking more and more land each day.
And sanctions will finish them off unless they give up all their gains
So on one hand you say Russia is losing, Russia can't conquer it, then in another you write about "giving up all their gains"
Fact is, the ruble is the world's best performing currency right now. It's higher than it was even before the war. Another fact is that Russia is making MORE money on gas and oil sales than before the war.
You know the US won`t let RuSSia off this time.
Well the USA and EU have a history of shooting themselves in the foot. Maybe more sanctions is the answer because clearly the earlier ones aren't working. In fact, Russia is making more money than even before the war while selling less gas due to the skyrocketing prices.
"The sanctions aren't working. Russia isn't feeling them, the ruble did not collapse. EU citizens get to pay the price, [Russian President Vladimir] Putin gets to smile in contentment, and the oil and gas will go elsewhere because the demand is great," - Zoran Milanovic, President of Croatia"The sanctions aren't working. At least unlike all these people who can't face reality because of cognitive dissonance or whatever, the fact remains the sanctions aren't doing jack **** to Russia. The only people they're hurting is EU and USA consumers and businesses who have to pay far more for fuel and thus every single good. Meanwhile, Russia enjoys even higher revenues than expected from gas and oil sales. They're making more money than even before the war while selling less gas thanks to the shoot yourself in the foot sanctions
