Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

Quoting RT.com:

Sanctions on Russia, offset by a windfall from high-price energy exports, haven't inflicted enough economic pain so far to hurt Moscow's war effort or push President Vladimir Putin to the negotiating table.

At 120 per, Putin must be smiling...That 120, btw, is a gift from the West. How do you say, thank you, West in Russian?

@Novichok

Just a word of advice Rich.
Never believe anything you glean from RT.
And never ever post it as fact on a forum.

We need to nip this GefreiterKania and Bobko budding friendship in the bud, otherwise their grand children in 40 years will be eulogising pan-slavinism and scheming to establish a Greater Slavic Federation. (dominated by russia of course) ;)

Positive news:
US secretary of defense Lloyd Austin announced today that the first batch of Ukrainian troops completed training today on the HIMARS system US and UK are providing. The HIMARS will be transfered to Ukraine this month with a compliment of precision missiles

Trained and ready!

Special report: China's bid to topple the US without fighting | China in Focus

I'm just waiting for China to start kicking ass, it will be powerful, and then with popcorn in my hands to see the reaction of the pederoliberal west led by the anglo-zionists, and all the chances are that we won't wait too long for that epic...

It's interesting that you didn't comment on the highlighted quote but only on the fact that it came from RT.com. You do know that RT is a world-class operation and so good that it's hard to believe that it's a Kremlin outlet.

So, is that quoted thing true or a lie? Never mind the source...

I am with you on this one...I want Taiwan removed from the list where 100,000 Americans will die for "democracy".

From dailymail.com:

Unfortunately, Russia is getting paid more for its oil and gas than ever. This money will buy more weapons from China. Meanwhile, the West is being wrecked by its own sanctions.

Children, that's just another example of what "irony" really means. While he is gone...hahahahahahahaha...

And just wait until the new pipeline to China is built.
Russian gas major, Gazprom, is pushing ahead to build a 50 billion cubic meter gas pipeline to China amid economic sanctions imposed by Western countries, Business Insider reported.

Come winter the Chinese will be toasty warm while the E.U. is shivering like a pup sh!tting a peach pit.

Building pipelines such vast distances will take 5+ years minimum.

A true democracy.

No. This is "hidden muscle of invisible hand of free market". It has nothing to do with democracy.

Meanwhile in the real world...

Germany and Canada are negotiating how to circumvent their own sanctions imposed on Russia and organize the supply of Siemens equipment to Russia in order to increase the supply of gas from Russia to Germany 😁

At the same time, Alexander Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors, said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) that the Nord Stream 2 pipeline is under pressure and can be used at any time.

The onshore part of one string of Nord Stream-2, according to Miller, is reoriented to supply gas to northwest Russia.

@Crow
Yes. I am saying the US contributing far more money and arms to Ukraine than everyone else combined will have a lot to say about negotiations in any peace talks. Even the Russian trolls here know this. France and Germany are compromised to Putin, and they will not be the ones to determine the structure of a peace deal. Z will work with Biden or whoever else is President at the time and will take their guidance on any negotiated peace. Why? Because he wants the money to keep flowing in for reconstruction, and he will want foreign investment for job creation to being Ukraine people home.

Now with the first group of Ukraine soldiers trained on missile systems, those systems are being shipped. Expect a lot of push back from Ukraine starting next weekend. When the missiles start falling in Crimea the attitude of Russians will begin to change or we are in for a war for the next few years.

Meanwhile, Ukraine will get the green light today from the EU on beginning the candidacy for membership. This will of course make Putin more upset because it is the EU telling him to FO and that the EU is moving forward.

All the talk about a new pipeline to China is funny. It will take years, possibly a decade to build one that long and under to pretty extreme conditions. Meanwhile, Putin just asked the government for some ideas on what it can do to help the Russian Auto industry. Why? Because the cars are junk, and more Russians will die driving them. Happy gulag biatches!

For sure. But I can guarantee, that direction of this change will not please you.

Don't be silly.... this is Russia we're talking about.... most of it will be stolen and turned into yachts to make up for the ones seized.

More money poured into a kleptocracy must means more is stolen.

@Velund
I expect the attitude to get worse and that's why I said this war will go on for years. We are nowhere close to the end, and Russia will pay a steep price for this war just as Ukraine has. But any suggestion by people that the US is not going to be advising Ukraine in negotiations, and that US interests will not come immediately after Ukraine interests is simply retarded. Germany, France and Italy are all compromised to Russia, and while they will be involved on an EU level, they will not steer anything, they will be pushed aside by the US, Poland, England and others who have lead and done more for Ukraine. This is already how it is working.

Velund
17 Jun 2022  #5207

This is already how it is working.

You mean how it does not working? ;)

To participate in a war for years you should have enough resources to keep things running. For now, US have to rob EU just to keep welfare level to non-working democratic electorate till November. Weapons shipments to ukraine goes from stocks that will take years to replenish at current funding levels. Yes, crazy money printer can be run again at full, but look at current dollar inflation. Structural component is already huge, but monetary component will be added and 1990's in Russia will be vacation to a tropic resort compared to what will happen in US.

Have fun posting here, though. ;)

PolAmKrakow

@Velund
Clearly you are not aware of what's going on in the US. Military production has not only been been accelerated, but companies are expanding operations. Nothing is robbed from the EU, the EU is paying the US to be there. This is how it works. Military presence in EU costs next to nothing for the US. These countries build bases for us to be there.

As for inflation, been there done that. Not the first and not the last time. US has always come through and will continue to do so. Now, politics may be a different story as I am expecting either a civil war at some point or the destruction of its democracy as we know it. When that happens though, all of the Ukraine business will be settled.

Now the military spending in Ukraine is seen as investment. Investing in Democracy, freedom, and future rebuilding contracts. Absolutely there is a push by the military industrial complex to keep the war going for the reconstruction work and arms spending right now. It is greedy and a $hitty way to do business, but that's how its done and if Russia could do it that way, they would.

One thing is for sure, Ukrainians have humour and creativity! 😆

That gave probably the idea:

The Russians on the other hand....

"We should open a second front"

Russian propaganda calls for an attack on Germany

bild.de/politik/ausland/politik-ausland/wir-sollten-eine-zweite-front-eroeffnen-russen-propaganda-fordert-angriff-auf-de-80420832.bild.html

"The Bundeswehr, yes, they have almost nothing left," answered Sosnowski. Then there was no stopping Solovyov.

"Then we should open a second front and hit Germany while they are completely unarmed," the Kremlin propagandist exclaimed. "So that there are no illusions among the Nazis."

🙄

They won't

They will certainly change however I doubt they'll disappear. Micron, Scholz and Draghi are already snuffing round for reconstruction projects.

Some interesting news from the front today about how the orcs are increasingly depleted. It will be a difficult few weeks however Ukraine will survive and r*ssia will lose even more resources.
