Ok, now that I had a minute to recover from this attack from a party colleague - I am beginning to question your sincerity. What exactly happened here - let's take a look.
1) Memorial was not demolished.
2) Memorial was not closed.
3) It was not renamed to "A Place Where a Bunch of Assh0les Lie".
All that happened was one of two flags was taken down from the flagpole. Also, the Russian politician responsible said "this is Russian history now". I'm not sure what he means by that, but oh well.
The reason this poor place is in the news, is precisely because it is a place symbolizing Polish-Russian reconciliation. Since Poland is leading the pack of countries trying to kill as many Russians as possible, some busybodies decided this would be the appropriate message to send. No reconciliation, no friendship. It's not what I would want, as a message, but also don't make it out to be something that it is not and get all outraged.
