Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

Paulina
4 May 2022  #961

It is not like we had many alternatives.

Excuse me? So because you didn't like what one American government was doing at some point you decided to make friends with a government that was even worse?? That was becoming increasingly authoritarian?? And that is why you decided to become dependent on that increasingly authoritarian country?? Well, that makes sense (not)! LOL

Sorry, Tacitus, but you strike me as a master of excuses.

Btw, as far as I remember I've read that Merkel doesn't regret her policies towards Putin/Russia. Even in the face of everything that has hapenned. The same with Obama. Unbelievable.

@jon357

It is very amusing to watch natives of the most imperialist country this planet of ours has ever spawned, pontificating here on every subject. Keep pretending that Ukraine is some unprecedented moral crusade. All the while, we see how you close your eyes to hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis (this, while the pathetic "Ukrainian Genocide" has claimed mostly train depots and fuel tanks). The world sees how you fund and equip Saudi Arabia as it murders hundreds of thousands of Yemeni children. We see, that even the director of the WHO is complaining about double standards when it comes to Ukraine, as his come country of Ethiopia is mired in the Tigray conflict.

The only lessons Russians have learned is that, truly, quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi.

natives of the most imperialist country

russia?

Ukraine is some unprecedented moral crusade

Isn't it?

as it murders hundreds of thousands of Yemeni children

No it doesn't.

Have you read the ruSSist transcript linked to above? The one with the detailed description of torture that the FSB are doing?Did you hear about the film of the baby being raped and killed? Did you see the women's corpses in Bucha shot, with their hands tied behind their backs and with vaginal injuries from gang rapes?

Trying to relativise any of that is beyond vile.

Bobko

@jon357

Oh, going straight to the family jewels - raped babies. Of course I can have no response to this. Russian DNA is different to all other Homo sapiens, because we enjoy to rape babies and torture pregnant women.

Ok.

Your soldiers around the world, from Mali to Afghanistan are all Ivy League-educated aristocrats and humanitarians. They break for tea to discuss possible solutions to peace and how best to provide aid. Russian soldiers, meanwhile, are orcs. We understand.

Tacitus

a government that was even worse??

Well, until February 2022 the USA and Russia had similar amounts of blood on their hands. Russia was not thought off as a political partner like the USA, but one whose goodwill was necessary to ensure peace in Europe.

I've read that Merkel

Merkel has so far not publically commented on her Russia policies.

Not sure what you would want to lay at Obama's feets in any case.

Paulina
4 May 2022  #966

Keep pretending that Ukraine is some unprecedented moral crusade.

It is unprecedented in the way that a democratic country was invaded with the purpose of overthrowing a democratically elected government. Iraq was a dictatorship.

you close your eyes to hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis

Who does? I don't. Russia apologists like to claim that the world doesn't care and inform about Iraq, Syria, Yemen, etc. but that's bullsh1t. How did I know about the destruction of Aleppo then? How did I know about starving children in Yemen? You think I didn't or other people care about them? You think that Polish Humanitarian Action, for example, wasn't collecting money for those children, just like it does now for Ukrainians?

Russian soldiers, meanwhile, are orcs.

Yes, they are scum. The produce of the contemporary society of RuSSia. And both your soldiers and RuSS citizens will remain scumy orcs in the public opinion of the world for a long time. See how people still remember Serbian scum`s crimes in Bosnia. After 30 years! The same will happen to RuSSian scum. You will be remembered as murderers, rapists, thieves and robbers for decades until the last Ukrainian who can witness your RuSS crimes with good awareness today (e.g., at the age of 5) will die a natural death one day. That means in about 75- 80 years.

We understand.

I am afraid you do not. If you did, you would commit suicide at the prospect of RuSSia being treated as the country of murderous orcs for the next 80 years.

jon357
4 May 2022  #969

to rape babies and torture pregnant women

So don't do it.

Mali to Afghanistan are all Ivy League-educated aristocrats and humanitarians

Ivy League? So you mean American? As for humanitarian stuff, I wonder which modern army has the better reputation or the worse one. Which one would civilians prefer to see approaching them?

There are no U.K. soldiers currently in Afghanistan, and the only reports of war crimes in Mali relate to russian Vagnerovtsi.

Better try harder, or better still, stop trying to relativise russian orc atrocities in Ukraine by attempting to make false claims about other states that you've never been to.

Bobko
4 May 2022  #970

Which one would civilians prefer to see approaching them?

Surely, you're as much a product of propaganda as myself, if you claim this. Death, whether at the hands of an Englishman or a Russian is death all the same. The pain and destruction that lasts isn't made different through being English-inflicted or Russian. Neither does the aftermath differ much. War, in the end, is a hateful *****.

Regarding our soldiers being orcs, I will never see it that way. The difference seems to be that blonde and blue eyed Ukrainian women and babies elicit more sympathy. Russia is a multinational country, made strong through its diversity. Our aims, overarch any of the petty sympathies you Euros harbor for your own. The globe sees your duplicity.

Death, whether at the hands of an Englishman or a Russian is death all the same

There there you go again, trying to relativise genocide.

You mentioned the British Army in Mali for some odd reason. They are there as part of a United Nations Peacekeeping mission. No complaints have been made against them. Putler's vagnerovtsi however are not, and are subject to numerous complaints of atrocities.

Death, whether at the hands of an Englishman

More pathetic attempts to relativise ruSSist crimes. Some armies are welcomed. The torturing, baby raping orcs are not.

Russia is a multinational country, made strong through its diversity

Tell that to Ukrainians.

Merkel has so far not publically commented on her Russia policies.

amp.dw.com/en/merkel-stands-by-past-ukraine-nato-decision-after-zelenskyy-criticism/a-61359003

'Merkel quickly released a statement saying that she, "stands by her decisions in relation to the 2008 NATO summit in Bucharest."'

I've also read an article (surprisingly on CNN, I think) critical not only about Merkel's, but also Obama's lack of self-reflection and self-criticism concerning their actions (during post Crimea annexation times, I think), but I can't find it now.

but one whose goodwill was necessary to ensure peace in Europe.

You fed and enabled a monster that destroyed peace in Europe, despite warnings from other countries!

@jon357

When you say I've never been - I don't know from what basis you are talking. I've been to Africa, and not merely for pleasure. I see that we disagree. I've enjoyed our past discussion regarding English coal country. I know you have an open mind, and think critically about the questions of the day. It is disappointing to see you adopt such a Goebbels position.

Korvinus
4 May 2022  #975

Is this in regards to the 200 T-72s and 90 guns?

T-72 were all the rage during Tarcza'77 - unbelivable improvement over T-64.
I'm not sure if Twardy was any good compared to Russian T-72 improvements. During my time I've only met with contract soldiers that were completely amazed with Leopard 2 - and wouldn't talk about anything else ...

But it is not the point.

In specifics - Mariupol has fallen.

It must be painful to watch Russia becoming a second rate power, struggling to defeat a much smaller and less populous country.

And with its declining demography and uncompetitive economy Russia's future will only become more bleak.

Unwilling to find some modus vivendi with the superior powers of the West it will be forced to submit itself to China's mercy. And it may be rough.

Bobko
4 May 2022  #976

@Korvinus

God, where is Velund. I cannot be made responsible for responding to all this nonsense on multiple fronts. My Russian bot salary does not cover this expense!

jon357
4 May 2022  #977

It is disappointing to see you adopt such a Goebbels position

Objecting to torture, rape and indiscriminate killing is not a "Goebbels position".

Anyway, here are todays batting averages from Donbas. 11 orc attacks were made and all were repulsed successfully. The equipment destroyed, taken for use or towed away by farmers is as follows:

๐Ÿ”ธ5 tanks
๐Ÿ”ธ7 armored combat vehicles
๐Ÿ”ธ5 transport vehicles
๐Ÿ”ธ2 Su-30 aircraft
๐Ÿ”ธ2 UAVs: Orlan-10 and ZALA-421

Note, this only relates to Donbas; it does not include the southern front.

@jon357

Mhmm. But you understand we have all these weapons systems coming out of our proverbial a**, while old Europe is draining its last stocks and preparing for a big rearmament. An uncomfortable fact, certainly, is that Russia has equipment for 20x Ukrainian campaigns - the only constraint being manpower.

Edit: The rebels have also destroyed the Death Star and three imperial cruisers. An invasion of Coruscant is imminent.

jon357
4 May 2022  #979

all these weapons systems coming out of our proverbial a*

So you pretend. Yet russia are running out of materiel.

preparing for a big rearmament

You don't have the means to do that, or even replace the lost tanks.

Your soldiers around the world, from Mali to Afghanistan are all Ivy League-educated aristocrats and humanitarians.

There are differences between armies of respective countries. Differences in the treatment of their own soldiers, of civillians in the attacked, occupied or liberated territory. Differences in behaviour of ordinary soldiers and of officers. There were such differences even in the past. For example, between the Polish army and the Nazi army. Between the Soviet Army and the Western allied armies. There were even differences between the behaviour of Nazi and Japanese soldiers during WWII (the Japanese were said to be worse, more cruel and generally more sick in the head). There were also differences between the allied armies. For example, American soldiers were treating German POWs worse than British soldiers, even though the Nazis bombed London, not Washington. There were apparently more cases of rapes perpetrated by Americans on local women as opposed to the British too. Why? There were different cultures in both armies. The British were more disciplined, because their officers were making sure of that they behave properly (according to a documentary that I've watched). And of course noone could be a match among the allied forces in terms of rapes, looting and the bad treatment of POWs for the Soviets. The Soviets absolutely "excelled" at that.

Bobko
4 May 2022  #981

@Paulina

Yes, also no one could be a match to the USSR in terms of manpower, equipment, experience, and commitment.

Cojestdocholery
4 May 2022  #982

Surely

Look you target civlians, fine but you let your scumback of serfs on them and that is not right. No amount of excuses point finger at other or sactimonius BS won't change it. They do it only becacuse officers and high offcials with Pution on the top let them if not order them to do it.

That is a crime and you do it you think you can get away with it. As for morlaity you have none - so there is no need to talk. Just put you down like a mangy dogs that you are.

Paulina
4 May 2022  #983

@Bobko, I see that you're missing the point that we're discussing the moral conduct of soldiers, rather than their military value (with which Russian soldiers don't impress either).

Bobko, don't you care what your soldiers are doing to people in Ukraine? What your state is doing? How Russian state TV is brainwashing your compatriots?

Yes, also no one could be a match to the USSR in terms of manpower, equipment, experience, and commitment.

And you don't care what they were doing to civillians and POWs (including Poles) on "liberated" territories?

Bobko
4 May 2022  #984

Ladies and gentlemen. If this operation becomes difficult there will be a call-up of reservists. If you take a bracket encompassing 2021-2001 you get at the very least 2 million reservists. IMHO this is enough to conclude the Ukraine operation. If a general mobilization happens, Russia can raise 18M men. These are military-statistical facts.

Paulina
4 May 2022  #985

@Bobko, military-statistical facts, you say... OK... But besides having a brain... do you also have a heart...?

Very well, let the new orcs become minced meat again, Ukrainian fields need fertilizers, preferably natural. hahaha

Russia can raise 18M men

And then what? RuSSia doesn`t have weaponry for them. Putin needs to request a large supply of bamboo from China to produce spears. :):):)

Spot on mate.
Russia has been stuck in this dumb mentality for decades, maybe even centuries,
But they are too dim to wake up and see it.
I see no hope for Russia..... doomed by stupidity, lack of information and their own propaganda.... Russia truly f+++ed itself!

Impotence is a cause of helplessness, misery, frustration. That was defined by Sigmund Freud 100 years ago.

Is it correct, who knows?

RF grinds them down, and losers and haters moan and are in fear.

I used to like Russians and just hated their rulers.

The Russians have Vladimir Putin the world's greatest statesman, while you've got... Sadiq Khan.
