People without principles are scared to die, so they forsake them to live another day

How can you forsake something you dont have?

Beautiful collage. I am confident that it will not be the last and that there will be more of them, more and even more wonderful ones.

Pls keep reminding us of the sacrifice of those heroes. Is it not wonderful that people around the world are willing to give their lifes in order to stop the invaders?

interesting info from generalsvr (that has a good track record in the past)

russian government figures are preparing bug-out plans in case things go south domestically (a distinct possibility given the way things are going in Ukraine)

one idea is Syria (but they need Turkey's okay for flights)...

people with no principles are so puzzled by the motivations of those who do have them...

Normal people do not kill for principles. As Milo said so well, normal people kill in defense of their families, themselves, and their country.

A Pole in Radom cannot travel to Ukraine and start killing people who were never a threat to him and complain that those who he failed to kill are not inclined to debate the fine print of the Geneva Convention and, instead, are ready to blow the moron's head off.

Yes, PAK, the same applies to the volunteers on the other side. Killing people is not a video game or Safari. It's very risky.

@Novichok
Then the vilification of those on the other side should be balanced should it not? Pot meet kettle.

Putin has to have an escape plan. Though his arrogance may not allow him to even think this way. But if Europe can control themselves on the gas spending, Russia is going to see mommies in the streets complaining not only about the war, but no programing, no food on shelves, and no jobs. It will be an interesting winter.

Normal people

What normal people?
You see a country attacking the other country and all you do is supporting aggresor, excusing its actions. What more you abuse, insult and laugh at people and a counrty that is defending itself.

It simple you are a slime stupid like F or a Russian troll.

to debate the fine print of the Geneva Convention and, instead, are ready to blow the moron's head off.

On the battle field sure but not in the POW camp because only Russian would think that internasional law is there to be ignored. I would say for every excuted Ukrainian POW not matter native to Ukrainie or not about 10 Russian POW should be excuted. That is the laugnage Moscow barbaria understand.

Check the thread title and you will notice that "Novichok" is not in it. Since your reading comprehension is not what it should be, one more time:

Normal people do not kill for principles. Normal people kill in defense of their families, themselves, and their country.

I can post it in Polish if you wish.

The U.S. just sent another $128 million to Ukraine.
This is how the headline story softened it.

The Pentagon has said in a statement that Russian morale seems to be running low in the ongoing Ukraine war, amid reports of soldiers at all levels deserting their posts or refusing to fight.

It also said Kyiv is making "excellent use" of American-built Phoenix Ghost unmanned aerial systems, as well as other weapons it has sent to the besieged country.

see the yanks are being gradual and what they think is smart (in their own way) so 300km Himars munitions next year. See this is just boring why escalate it step by step instead of smashing them in one step?

btw where the f-16s at? u know the one that all the ukri pilots are all covertly trained and ready to rock and roll?

Overnight and into this morning, Ukraine used Himars rocket systems to again strike the Antonivsky bridge. :-)

btw where the f-16s at?

Does Australia even have F-16's to give to Ukraine ?

Now Lithuania prepares an EU motion to deny all visa's to the EU for all Russians. Long over due sanction should have been in place immediately. Anyone supporting Russia should be in Russia, not the EU or any other country where they are protected.

Anyone supporting Russia should be in Russia, not the EU or any other country where they are protected.

Some of the visitors may actually be anti-Putin. Those who are neutral or support him may change their opinions after reading the EU sources and talking to the locals.

Bottom line: banning ordinary Russians is as stupid and petty as they come. Just like banning some Russian girl from competing in gymnastics because Putin she didn't vote for is "evil".

PolAmKrakow

@Novichok
When 70% of Russians support the war it is not stupid. No one knows who could be spying or preparing some kind of attack. It makes total sense to ban everyone in Russia from everything so they can understand how the west is thinking. If its so great in Russia, then simply stay there or move there. Pressure from every conceivable side is the only thing these people will understand, it is what will break them.

Using your thinking, Russia should not be forcing Ukrainian people to suffer war or see their children killed for a government they may or may not support. Ukrainian people should not be forced to move to Russia because Russia wont let them leave to the west.

As Putin does not care about anyone else opinion, why should we GAF about any Russian opinion?

Poland is buying almost 1,000 tanks, more than 600 pieces of artillery and dozens of fighter jets from South Korea, in part to replace equipment donated to Ukraine to help Kyiv fight the Russian invasion.

Quote:
The agreement, expected to be officially announced in Poland on Wednesday, will see Warsaw purchase 980 tanks based on the South Korean K2 model, 648 self-propelled K9 armored howitzers, and 48 FA-50 fighter jets, the ministry said.

It would not confirm the value of the deal.

Pressure from every conceivable side is the only thing these people will understand, it is what will break them.

That's one way of looking at it. Another is: split them apart - Putin followers from his antagonists.

The pettiness we see in treating individual Russians is not helpful. My view on this subject is that banning common Russians is counterproductive and does not lead to anything that is good for "democracies". It just adds to that idiotic "let's do something" pile of nonsense we see so often and without any tangible and measurable benefits.

Another point about the ban...Many Russians would like to leave Russia - just as I left Poland. Lucky for me, the US didn't say that Poland is an evil country that denies its citizens basic civil rights, and, therefore, I am not allowed to enter the US. And, yes, I could be a spy but the US didn't care. If anything, if caught, I could be exchanged for one of theirs.

Germany has approved the production and delivery of 100 PzH 2000 for the Ukrainian army.

Poland is also actively recruiting to build the army, and more citizens are joining defense groups every day. More Poles learning how to shoot and defend themselves every day. Gun laws loosening and more guns in citizens hands every day.

Gun laws loosening and more guns in citizens hands every day.

It's about time to free Poland as the war has been over now for 77 years.
They should have the same rights Americans do.
The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

This woke indoctrination of free speech is hate and guns are evil has got to go
This is why China never invades the U.S. is because they know we are armed to the teeth and can shoot a buzzard off a sht wagon at 200 yards.

Everyone in Poland should sport a gun as a deterrent to any invading forces.
Remember at the get go off this war how the Ukrainians had to be trained in how to use a gun ?

Germany has approved the production and delivery of 100 PzH 2000 for the Ukrainian army.

Puh....at last!!! 👍

The German Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) is considered one of the best self-propelled guns in the world. Germany and the Netherlands have delivered over 12 PzH 2000s to Ukraine and they are now in action against Russian forces in Ukraine's eastern Donbas region. Ukrainian gunners say they mastered the Panzerhaubitze in about a month after training every day. The five-man crew consists of the vehicle commander, a driver-mechanic, a gunner, and two loaders. RFE/RL spoke to a newly trained Ukrainian crew about their powerful new weapon.

rferl.org/a/ukraine-war-artillery-big-german-gun-russia/31952218.html

The Panzerhaubitze 2000 ("tank howitzer 2000"[2]), abbreviated PzH 2000, is a German 155 mm self-propelled howitzer developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Rheinmetall for the German Army. It is capable of a very high rate of fire; in burst mode it can fire three rounds in nine seconds, ten rounds in 56 seconds, and can-depending on barrel heating-fire between 10 and 13 rounds per minute continuously.[3][unreliable source?] The PzH 2000 has automatic support for up to 5 rounds of Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact (MRSI). The replenishment of shells is automated. Two operators can load 60 shells and propelling charges in less than 12 minutes. PzH 2000 has also been selected by the armies of Italy, Netherlands, Greece, Lithuania, Hungary, Qatar and Croatia, mostly replacing older systems such as the M109 howitzer. In November 2019 a PzH 2000 L52 gun fired a shell to a range of 67 km.[4]

Ukrainian forces have seized about 44 villages west of Kherson from Russia in the last week. All the bridges to Kherson can not support military transports now and the main bridge is now closed. More and more Orc's getting roasted in those villages, and slowly but surely Ukraine is making their way to liberating Kherson. When that happens Putin will lose his support at home, and Crimea becomes very vulnerable.

the main bridge is now closed.

That was One Bridge Too Far for RuSSists.

Germany has approved the production and delivery of 100 PzH 2000 for the Ukrainian army. Puh....at last!!!

Nice. But it would be nicer if it was a gift.

Have you found any information on when the first PzHs can be delivered?

Bratwurst Boy
27 Jul 2022  #446

Sadly no, nothing at all....I guess they don't want to publish all their production secrets....but look at that!

kmweg.de/systeme-produkte/kettenfahrzeuge/artillerie/pzh-2000/

Nice. But it would be nicer if it was a gift.

I guess it will end as a gift....with a credit sooo long that it all becomes part of the european "Marshall Plan" to rebuild Ukraine once this war is over....and our gov taking over all/most of the payments.

Ukraine can't pay in their situation....everybody and his grandmom knows that!

so Ukrainians are normal, and Russians are not according to that logic

The pettiness we see in treating individual Russians is not helpful.

you may be right on that point (issuing visas to common Russians)

Oh, I didn`t think about it. So, it can a gift in fact. :):) Or the EU will refund it.

Tacitus
27 Jul 2022  #449

The EU and many individual countries (including Germany) have given Ukraine grants worth several bns from which they can purchase weapons directly from the industry.

I do suspect though that sales like this will harden the Russian resolve in the short term. They probably realize that once all those weapons (not just the PzH, but all promised deliveries) are delivered, further break throughs will become impossible, which makes the prospect of a frozen conflict less appealing for them.

Ukraine needs to survive till 2024!

...The cost of the contract, which also includes staff training and a spare parts package, is 1.7 billion euros. But there is an important drawback. KMW will be able to deliver the first 30 SpGHs to Ukraine... only 30 months after signing the agreement, i.e. not earlier than 2024. Execution of the entire contract will be extended until 2027....
