Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 4

Those are probably just the speeds that they put in a memo on Putin's desk to make themselves look good and stop him murdering their families

The actual true top speeds will probably all be from NATO countries.

Leave the technology to the experts and concentrate on making a leap out of the Middle Ages.

In 2027 hot and cold running water might arrive at the troll farm

Quoting from yahoo.com:

Kremlin Faces Rising Ire From Wives, Mothers of Mobilized Troops

(Bloomberg) -- Desperate to rescue their sons and husbands from the front lines in Ukraine, Russian women are putting pressure on the Kremlin in the latest sign of the spreading discontent caused by the war.

Two points.

1. I am a genius

Crying or dead kids end wars. Or start...

2. These women may actually help Putin speed things up by adding to the pressure from the less nice around him.

Russian lawmakers today gave their final approval to a bill that significantly expands restrictions on activities seen as promoting gay rights in the country, another step in a years-long crackdown on the country's embattled LGBTQFU community.

The new bill expands a ban on what authorities call "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations" to minors, established by legislation dubbed the "gay propaganda" law. It was adopted by the Kremlin in 2013 in an effort to promote "traditional values" in Russia.

One wonders what happened to those " traditional values" of the Russian 'soldiers' (I use that word loosely) in Ukraine.
Where all the perverted Russian soldier's responsible gay ?

may actually help Putin speed things up by adding to the pressure

putain does not react well to pressure, he's not only a coward hiding away from the public but he's also incredibly indecisive... the decision to mobilize came about two months after the deadline given to him by the armed forces for it to do any good...

read generalsvr_en... he's always putting off decisions and then when it's too late... makes the worst possible choice...

horrible head of state but the powerless russian serfs have no ability to unseat the Tsar....

Have you seen some of the recent photos? Either they're of his doubles or he really is ill.

The actual true top speeds will probably all be from NATO countries.

Those and China. I'd be very sceptical about any stats coming out of r*SSia and it's clear that a lot of data has been falsified just to look good.

So, offer something else.

The UN observers:

un.org/womenwatch/osagi/wps/publication/Chapter7.htm

The United Nations is the only organisation that would be viewed as objective enough by both sides - Ukraine and RuSSia, I think.

Although, in all honesty, in my opinion having only UN observers wouldn't be probably enough (in case of RuSSian occupation - especially). The only way to ensure for such referenda to be really free, fair, with everyone elligible having the chance to vote and not being afraid to vote the way they want and both sides being able to freely agitate for their cause, would be to set up a special UN mission in those regions with the UN temporary supervision of those territories (with "blue helmets" on the ground, I imagine) and the UN being in charge of the referendum, like in this case:

minurso.unmissions.org/background

Those would be the ideal circumstances and noone would contest such results then (including me).

The only thing that really matters is if the voters in both refererenda were in any way threatened to vote yes or else.

Of course that's not the only thing that really matters. All kinds of other things matter if you want to have a free and fair referendum with credible results. Including whether people were afraid to vote "no". And judging by all we know and based on the reports available - they had all the reasons to be afraid.

Prove it or shut the fu*ck up.

I don't have to prove that those sham referendums were conducted on occupied territories by the invading forces - we all know this. Such referendum shouldn't take place in such circumstances in the first place. If Ukrainians or any other forces invaded RuSSia and conducted "referendums" in the same circumstances, their "official results" would be contested too (including by Velund and you = so, you're total hypocrites) and rightly so.

The way those "referendums" were conducted broke even RuSSian law, which makes those referendums illegal even under the RuSSian law.
RuSSia doesn't even care about it's own laws. This means RuSSia doesn't have any integrity at all and is simply not trustworthy. Those "referendums" were a joke, a farse.

@Novichok
I have held back on the Africa equation for quite some time giving Russians the benefit of the doubt to being above the tribal bull$hit classes, but I may have been giving them too much credit. Speed is great, but it doesn't win wars.

I have seen a few photos of little Vlad lately and if they were not photoshopped, he is in bad shape. Lets hope he is in bad shape and just dies.

I concur.
In fact three months ago, I projected in this thread, that he would be meeting his Maker by Christmas.
He ain't looking good at all as in a dead man walking.

Speed is great, but it doesn't win wars.

The enemy's freezing babies do.

But, since Ukraine is a democracy and Z is their democratically elected leader they are getting exactly what they preferred.

The other choice was giving a legally binding guarantee that Ukraine would never be in NATO and self-determination to the Russian-speaking territories. Like in Kosovo and possibly Scotland. You know... people deciding for themselves thing.

mafketis

The enemy's freezing babies do.

Time for some russian baby-cicles? You're in favor of Ukraine being allowed to use NATO supplied equipment against russian territory? Cool! Let's rummmmmmbbbbblllllle!!!!

a legally binding guarantee that Ukraine would never be in NATO

you are tripling down on the stupid ideas.... why would russia, a country which notoriously _never_ honors its word, be satisfied with that?

russia is a dying empire and Ukraine is its death throes....

Novichok
24 Nov 2022  #1001

notoriously _never_ honors its word, be satisfied with that?

So far the side that reneged on non-proliferation agreements was the US.

You don't know what Russia would be satisfied with. Under such an agreement, Russia would always have an option to do what it is doing now so trust does not enter here since applying to NATO and being admitted would not be a secret.

Think before you post.

Just a reminder...With that Article 5 as a shield, why isn't the Polish army - allegedly braver, smarter, and better equipped than the "Mongols" - not in Ukraine yet?

Paulina
24 Nov 2022  #1002

@Novichok, because if Polish army went into Ukraine and engaged RuSSian troops it is possible that RuSSia would attack Poland and then Poland would invoke Article 5 and a bigger war would start - between NATO and RuSSia, which could lead to either world war or nuclear war or both.

Do you understand now or will I have to repeat that again 20 times more?

pawian
24 Nov 2022  #1003

why isn't the Polish army - in Ukraine yet?

Coz the deal is fair and simple: the West offers aid while Ukrainians fight. And so far it has worked excellently - Mongols are losing. Ha! Do you remember their plans for the war?? Conquer Ukraine in 3 days and hold a victory parade in Kiev. And how did it finish???? :):):)

24 Nov 2022  #1004

Because they are not needed - the Ukie army is handily defeating your dipsomaniac forces.

When your so called special forces arrived, drunk, at Hostomel on Day 1 with no ammo, no gas and no radios it was clear who was going to win this war.

Novichok
24 Nov 2022  #1005

Do you understand now or will I have to repeat that again 20 times more?

Your logic sucks. Article 5 would protect Poland from Russia so Poland is free to go to Ukraine and kill as many Russians as it can.

It's the trip wire effect Article 5 was designed to be. Enjoy the protection and go for it...

Or do you have doubts that A5 would actually do the trick, Russia would attack anyway and it would be up to some a-hole NATO bureaucrats to decide what to do with THAT?

You see, my dear Polish military strategist, the US may be in NATO but the US doesn't see that stupid org as a suicide pact. And for what??? Poland???... hahahahahahaha...

You wouldn't die for Poland so don't assume anyone here would be eager to be THAT stupid.

Novichok
24 Nov 2022  #1006

OK, since I can't get an answer to my simple question, I will do it myself.

The reason why the Polish army is not Ukraine is that your master, the US, told you to take a chill pill and not even think about it. Individually, you can go there and become dog food.

They, the Americans, know what a bunch of suicidal morons Poles can be when left without adult supervision - and especially when the big dogs are involved. See Warsaw Uprising.

24 Nov 2022  #1007

since I can't get an answer to my simple question,

Stop lying, RuSSist, I have already answered your silly attention sicking question in 1005.

the US, told you

buhahaha wow, what amaSSing revelation !!! We are really surprised!! hahahahaha
Darling, it is obvious NATO works this way coz the US is the most important member in it. Don`t be stupid and stop making song and dance about it.

Paulina
24 Nov 2022  #1008

@Novichok, NATO is a defensive alliance. If Polish army would attack RuSSian troops first outside of Poland without consulting it with the rest of NATO and RuSSia retaliated against Poland then I don't know if NATO would react. Maybe they would or maybe they wouldn't - considering that Poland would go "rogue".

It would be a different situation if RuSSia attacked Poland.

The reason why the Polish army is not Ukraine is that your master, the US, told you to take a chill pill

the Americans, know what a bunch of suicidal morons Poles can be when left without adult supervision

You're a prejudiced ignorant. According to polls majority of Poles don't want the Polish army to be sent to Ukraine to fight. They support sending other types of help, but not Polish soldiers. We don't want another war. Poland suffered enough already.

Novichok
24 Nov 2022  #1009

Poles are free to go there individually as "volunteers". If fact they are already doing it so what's the problem with 100,000 going there and helping your Ukrainian brothers?

We don't want another war.

If you didn't want another war you would be doing everything you could for this one to end asap. You are doing the exact opposite and actually prolong it.

pawian
24 Nov 2022  #1010

Poles are free to go there

Yes, they are. :):):)

what's the problem with 100,000 going there

No problem whatsoever. :):):) If 100.000 decide to go, they will coz Poland is the country of free citizens despite ritard PiS` efforts.

You are doing the exact opposite

Darling, helping Ukraine with supplies, logistics and intelligence isn`t waging a war yet. If RuSSists think different, you need to take action against Poland to see what happens next. :):):)

Paulina
24 Nov 2022  #1011

If fact they are already doing it so what's the problem with 100,000 going there

No problem if they go there as volunteers. 100 000 battle worthy people won't go to fight in another country though, because someone has to stay in order to be able to defend Poland.

If you didn't want another war you would be doing everything you could for this one to end asap.

I meant a war taking place on Polish territory. If Ukrainians are ready to fight for their country then that's their choice and we will support them the way we can.

They must be wondering how it is possible that there is winter outside for the second time during their 3-day operation. Seasons of the year change very quickly in Ukraine. :D

We're in bad shape and cant afford it. Biden is printing money out of thin air and our taxes are hitting the roof.

Everbody is in bad shape right now - that's why RuSSia attacked NOW.

Poland can't really afford it too - and I don't mean only helping Ukraine and refugees, but also all the military spending that our country is doing now and so PiS government is indebting Poland. Inflation in Poland in October 2022 was 17,9% (in the US it was 7.7%). Add to that rising prices of electricity, gas, etc.

That's bad news. The good news is that this war costs RuSSia a lot - apparently it has costed RuSSia 82 billion dollars already - this is one quarter of their annual budget:

money.pl/gospodarka/wyliczyli-ile-rosja-wydala-na-wojne-jedna-czwarta-rocznego-budzetu-6837674301213344a.html

Add to that sanctions and the fact that Western economies are generally more developed and in a better shape than RuSSian economy.

Inflation in Poland in October 2022 was 17,9% (in the US it was 7.7%).

We told you somewhere at the beginning of this thread that Europe would be feeling inflation much worse than the U.S.A. so no big surprise.

this war costs RuSSia a lot

Not only in money but also in pride.
Take away Putin's nukes and he is nothing more than a paper tiger and war criminal.
That's the bad.
The good is:
Russia's lower house of parliament has unanimously voted to extend its ban on so-called "gay propaganda".
The law will be extended to cover adults as well as children
Under the latest version of the law, any promotion of homosexuality - including in books, films and online - is illegal and carries heavy penalties.

Inflation is bad. It is hurting the poor and old on fixed income much harder than the resto of us. For most it is inconvenient and irritating but not life changing. Its life, and it is not solely because of the war, lets not forget two years of BS lockdowns.

Biden printing money to send aid to Ukraine does absolutely zero to the peoples taxes. My taxes are not going up because of it and neither are anyone else's except the ultra wealthy. The money going to Ukraine is nothing compared to the US annual budget, it is a drop in the bucket. The money going to Ukraine is an investment in democracy and freedom which is just what the US stands for. It is also an investment in the future rebuilding of Ukraine where the US will create jobs and investment. Make no mistake, there is a profit center at the end of this war and the US will be the first at the ATM to take all the Russian money that comes to rebuild the country.

Yandex, which is Russia's version of Google is leaving Russia. This is like Google, Microsoft, and Tesla leaving the US. Thats how big and how important Yandex has been for Russia for decades. It is owned by a Dutch company and when this happens, Russia will have lost its only real player in tech. With the brain drain still ongoing, Putin will not be able to replace Yandex, it would take ten years or more and billions of dollars to try to rebuild it or build more companies to replace it. This is a huge blow for little Vlad. IT also points to tech becoming nonexistent in Russia, which means developing weapons or creating their own chips is just another pipe dream set to explode. Happy gulag you dumb mother fvckers!
