Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 4

Alien

American Policy towards Ukraine evolved. Since now they can have/buy long range missiles. Oh, oh, something goes on.

Tacitus

Looks like Europe is also slowly stepping up:

Ukraine Support Tracker: Europe surpasses the U.S. in total committed aid

idw-online.de/de/news806208

A new compilation of the support given to Ukraine b other countries in various areas.

ifw-kiel.de/topics/war-against-ukraine/ukraine-support-tracker/

Those are very good news indeed. Not only will Ukraine receive more help, it also reduces its' dependence on individual countries (although the USA remains crucial). Even if one government wavers, others will be ready to pitch in.

Putin can't be happy about this.
South Korean military hardware has arrived in Poland:
South Korea's effort to become a military exporting powerhouse is slowly becoming a reality, and yesterday, the first batch of K2 Black Panther main battle tanks (MBTs) and K9A1 Thunder self-propelled howitzers arrived at the Polish port city of Gdynia.

Poland and South Korea have become very good friends.

Ukraine Support Tracker: Europe surpasses the U.S. in total committed aid

The US should be easily surpassed by contributing exactly zero. It's your war. You, Euros, have the means to carry on by yourself so quit begging and annoying us.

South Korean military hardware has arrived in Poland:

When NATO gets things from South Korea - good.
When Russia gets things from Iran - bad.
Simple.

No it isn't a war btw. russia and Ukraine. It is actually a war btw. russia and USA.

Yes because South Korea is a free country that doesn't beat it's kids to death for showing a bit of their hair, or shoot innocent protesters, or fund terrorism.

It is actually a war btw. russia and USA.

For two reasons - one sicker than the other.
1. Europe ducked.
2. The US stepped in as it always does because the m-fers that run it make money on the backs of US taxpayers like me.

South Korea is a free country

No, it's not. SK - just like Poland - is another US military welfare bum that would be gone in a week if the US got the hell out.

Since now they can have/buy long range missiles

Reality.

The deployment of long range missiles seems to be working with Putler having very limited responses.

Now the r*SSians are digging defensive trenches well inside r*SSian territory and Putler has restarted his nuclear sabre-rattling.

It's not hard to read between the lines here.

One day Euros will be saying how could we be so stupid...
Or, as I said earlier, when those long-range missiles hit their targets inside Russia, Russia will fall on its knees and beg for forgiveness. In fact, the Russian Army has been seen going shopping for white bed sheets rather than things that go boom.

You should be more honest with us.

You are not angry about the USA helping Ukraine.

You are angry that the USA causes your hero Putin to loose.

Fu*ck off. My honesty or anger are not subjects here.

Ukraine trying to drag US into war - ex-CIA officer
Drone attacks on Russian airfields fit Kiev's pattern of behavior, claims Philip Giraldi

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is looking for ways to get the US and NATO directly involved in the conflict, former CIA officer Philip Giraldi has said, pointing to Monday's drone attack at two airfields inside Russia as an example of such tactics.

Before you, Russia-hating idiots, jump on "RT", kindly notice whom RT quotes. RT quotes a former CIA officer that used to work for the organization not known for its love of Russia.

Continuing...

The missile that struck the village of Przewodow last month was quickly identified as Ukrainian, but Zelensky continued to insist otherwise for several days until both Warsaw and Washington expressed frustration.

Translation: Both Warsaw and Washington told the scheming Zjew to STFU.

You are angry that the USA causes your hero Putin to loose.

A fair comment.

If this escalates, those who suffer outside Ukraine and r*SSia will be in your country, in mine and in Poland.

The US however, if they'd been told ten years ago they could neutralise the threat of r*SSia for as cheap as a trillion, they'd have jumped at it.

The EU is now paying as much as the US is. If you don't want to protect Poland that's fine - you can write to your congressman and complain

but it's a worryingly common attitude among PolAms - especially since many still vote in Polish elections

Poland acquiring more tanks will move it to #1 in amount of tanks, from #2. If the 600 howitzers are K9's, then that'll put us in the top for self-propelled artillery. 300,000 personnel puts us above anyone else in the EU. Say what you will about the over-zealous attitude we see far too often on the internet, but Poland is one of the few European countries that is taking its self defense seriously and isn't okay being dependent upon US forces for protection. Going to 5% in spending is big.

He really doesn't appreciate what a threat a strong and aggressive r*SSia is to the world, including to US interests.

7 Dec 2022  #1456

Nothing to do with "word". That's chick talk.

Spot on. Its perfectly fine for the Euros like Germany not keeping their word regarding NATO obligations.

And if you give guarantees and then don't honour them then your guarantees become worth sh*t.

If you ever fought your own battles that you stared like WWI and WWII the world would be a better place.

Why cant your European counties get along with one another, that is the question?

How come France doesn't step up to the plate?

Craven cowardice, That and wanting to a. protect their investments in r*SSia and b. get contracts after the war. A surprising number of French companies are still operating in r*SSia.

My ancestors on my fathers side have been in America since the 1800`s.

Mine too. Quite a few were born in America and died in Scotland, usually to do with going back and forth for the family farm.

attack their neighbors like the Germans have a history of doing

This is true; as we can see, they're trying to achieve their aim of domination via the EU now. and like r*SSia, they are a land-based empire.

That turd Scholtz even made a silly, silly statement about trade with r*SSia returning to some sort of normality (he is in cloud cuckoo land if he thinks that) which makes me worried about the EU having any sort of involvement in War Crimes Tribunals (they are trying to set one up). The danger is that they could try to take control of the process then freeze any prosecutions or give an amnesty, for purely mercantile reasons.

Tacitus
7 Dec 2022  #1458

Relationships with Russia will return to some sort of normalcy down the line once the conditions are met. Pretending otherwise is silly.
It may take years or even decades, but assuming that Russia will (or should) remain isolatedafter it offers no longer any reason to is just silly. Individuals may endulge in such fantasies in the light of Russian crimes, but oir politicians need to be more realistic.

Novichok
8 Dec 2022  #1459

Russia didn't commit any crimes. Some Russians may have but only if convicted and not a minute sooner.
But I am trying to be realistic. Only Russia and Russians commit crimes. Wester "democracies", including Ukrainian "democracy" - no way. Never!

Judging by their past history you better watch your backs.

Craven cowardice, That and wanting to a. protect their investments in r*SSia

France is a nation of pussies. They hate Americans and the few that I've met were snobby Aholes. Needless to say, I wont be taking a vacation there.

The danger is that they could try to take control of the process then freeze any prosecutions or give an amnesty, for purely mercantile reasons.

Its all about the money and filling up their coffers. Then paying as little as possible into NATO and the EU.

Quoting the Jerusalem Post:

Klitschko, a former world heavyweight boxing champion before entering politics, painted a picture of a harsh future ahead for Ukraine's more than 1,500-year-old capital.

He sketched out one possible scenario in which the city could be left without central heating until spring at a time when temperatures can fall as low as -15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit).

"If electricity supply continues to be absent while outside temperatures remain low, we will unfortunately be forced to drain water from buildings," he said.

"Otherwise the water can freeze and break the entire water supply network, and buildings will then be totally unfit for further use."

Putin's cronies have a secret plan to help him flee to South America if Russia loses the war in Ukraine, a former ally claims.

The Russian leader is reportedly thinking about where he and his family should go if Russia loses the war.
In the plot, which has been dubbed Operation Noah's Ark, his family and other close members of his entourage will reportedly flee to Argentina or Venezuela.

jon357
8 Dec 2022  #1463

They hate Americans

They hate us even more, however they also exist in a deluded political bubble.

Its all about the money and filling up their coffers.

Yes, and (like Germany who are fairly blatant about this) leveraging relations with r*SSia to give them an economic advantage over their so-called EU 'partners'.

will reportedly flee to Argentina or Venezuela.

That was leaked by Abbas Gallyamov and is possibly disinformation.

In any case, they are very vulnerable places. He may as well have a huge target painted on his back (and should).

The only way Putin survives is to retire in Russia. Appoint a successor due to health reasons and go to his mansion to die. There is no place outside of Russia he would be safe. Someone would kill him just to become famous.

All the talk about the US paying for it is again a big nothingburger. It is as I said at the very beginning a business move and a political move. This is simply status quo and anyone in the US should know, the US would not exist if democracy and the "American way" were not fought for. It is not that difficult to understand. You can dislike it all you want, but the claims of financial burden on the US economy for supporting Ukraine are a joke. The wall should be finished, I agree, but the war in Ukraine is a real threat to democracy and an "existential threat" to the other democracies around the world.

Putin once again yesterday said the war was not about NATO, denazification or any other bull$hit reason given here. It is about reclaiming Russian territory. Can we all stick to the narrative that Putin himself has put forward once again. The reincarnated Peter the Great wants a new Russian empire. All he will get is dead Russians. Happy gulag biatches!

jon357
8 Dec 2022  #1465

@PolAmKrakow
Krushchev was allowed to retire, Putler won't be.

And if he went abroad, he's not be safe anywhere except perhaps China (who wouldn't take him) or North Korea.

Anywhere he went, MI6 would kill him and his entire entourage.

If Putin thinks he can live out a quiet retirement like Honecker then he is much mistaken - he is a war criminal and will be tried as such, same for Lavrov and all the others that sat in that circle in February and agreed on TV to invade

Dozens of 'foreign mercenaries' killed in Ukraine - Russia
Russia has claimed that its military has destroyed a number of high-value targets with "high-precision" strikes in Ukraine, including killing 90 "Polish mercenaries" in just one day.

Two points:
1. It's not true since Russia always lies and Ukraine always tells the truth.
2. If it's true, Poland should be grateful to Russia for killing Polish volunteers and, thus, helping elevate the average IQ in Poland. That's what is known as the "silver lining".
