Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 4

It isn't as if they aren't needed. It is however as if Germany don't want to see r*SSia defeated.

And the Challengers, though old and due to be scrapped, are very useful indeed and easy to be trained quickly on.

the balance immensely in favour of Ukraine.

Think in reverse and ask yourself if Russia can afford to lose and give up what Russia publicly declared to be Russia.
On top of that, imagine Russia abandoning the Russians who voted to join Russia and were cooperating with the Russian army. Russia knows what would happen to them.

So here is my bet: There is no fu*king way Russia will return what it took. The US wouldn't.

My advice to Germany: Keep your Leopards.

I don't care. It is losing those areas and will lose them.

imagine Russia abandoning the Russians who voted to join Russia

Imagine rainbow unicorns living in your rear end.... there are far more of them.... than these imaginary 'russians' you seem to think exist....

cooperating with the Russian army. Russia knows what would happen to them

They should have thought about that before committing treason.....

Russia declared Kherson to be part of Russia and even held a fake referendum. That did not stop them from leaving the city later on to the celebration of its' citizen.

Those Russians are as real as the Natives in the US. Go tell a Cherokee that he is an imaginary Cherokee. I will get popcorn and a chair.

Russia declared Kherson to be part of Russia and even held a fake referendum.

What exactly makes a referendum fake? The outcome you don't like or something else?

What exactly makes a referendum fake?

That it was organised in a war zone under Russian control at a gun point without truly independent observers. We already talked about it. Do you do sth with this forgetfulness of yours or you don`t care???

Novichok

without truly independent observers

They were invited and refused to later claim that the referendum is illegitimate. Nice trick.

Z said that they will fight for every inch of Ukraine. It's probably a good bet that Putin feels the same way about every inch of what says is Russia.

So what remains is this question:

What is the probability of Putin or his replacement saying: We lost and we are now going home. Crimea, Donbas, and Luhansk are all yours, Mr. Z.

My bet: Zero.

Aha!

Looks like there's a French-British-Polish coalition forming to put pressure on Germany to allow Leopard 2 tanks for Ukraine.

French officials tell Politico that Paris is pressuring Berlin to start moving.

France is willing to place Leclerc tanks in countries that send Leopards

So....when France sends heavy tanks Scholz will surely too....not the other way around....I guess....

My bet: Zero.

No problem.... the more russia puts into trying to destroy Ukraine the more it will be destroying itself.... as long as russia, in its current form, is destroyed.... I'm cool with that.

My bet is when Putin dies, killed or otherwise, the next person up will want to be seen as a hero. A hero ends wars, does not continue them. That person will step up and open peace talks, and that is the only way this will end. What those talks entail is what will be critical. Russia cannot be seen as the winning side, and thats the only sure thing. Does Russia keep Crimea? In exchange the new leader says the referendums were illegal and they step back from illegal activity returning the land to Ukraine? Do they care how it $hits in Putins memory?

Russia is going to pay, and pay for a very long time. How long did it take to rebuild Berlin? How much did it cost to repair all of Europe? Think along those lines, plus today's costs and then add in inflation. Meanwhile the Russian people will continue to go without western goods and services until Ukraine is made whole. I am thinking a minimum of a decade and more likely twenty years or more before the west does anything to assist Russia. 1991 looks like heaven compared to the future.

Hopefully our politicians are more realistic and pragmatic and less vindictive in their approach when the time comes. It is not in our interest to have an isolated, unstable and vengeful nuclear power in our neighbourhood. If Putin is dead/incarcerated and his successor makes peace with Ukraine that is deserving of the name, than our politicians have to immediately start working on a plan to reintegrate Russia. The Russians need to see their life improving if they stick to peaceful ways if we want to see them change their ways.

Knowing human nature the strong support of the West might become a hindrance for every upcoming anti-Putin...you know how the conspiracy theories go....

Tacitus
10 Jan 2023  #2203

Any successor of Putin who withdraws from Ukraine will face auch accusations. Fewer Russians will care though if his actions result in their life improving down the line. But imagine if the situation does not improve and then a charismatic demagogue comes along who promises to restore Russia's glory and improve their lifes... .

People tend to be less nostalgic for past imperial glory if their everyday life is not too bleak.

It appears as though Ukraine has now sunk another Russian ship, and Russias one and only aircraft carrier is in such disrepair and has been damaged so badly by fire that it cannot propel itself. It is now sitting in drydock awaiting an almost complete rebuild. The water in the lower levels of the ship is said to essentially be mud and the ship may not even be able to be saved. Looks like all the millions put into actual maintenance went to someone's new home in Cypress.

Imagine Russia without one Fvcking aircraft carrier! LMFAO Nuclear launch codes actually turn into self-destruct codes before they get out of the silos. Putin was heard discussing the nuclear options the other day and is quoted as saying; "Red button? What red button? All I have is the clapper." Happy gulag biatches!

Imagine Russia without one Fvcking aircraft carrier!

The USSR didn't have any and was first in Berlin anyway.

Aircraft carriers are tools of aggression against minor players like Iraq. That's why the dumbest world cop ever - the US - has 11 and the rest of the world has 15.

And that's why Russia - like France - has one. Imagine nuclear powers like France and the UK with one and zero, respectively, as part of that awesome NATO.

@Novichok
USSR was nothing without lend lease from USA. Just a little detail.

Aircraft carriers can be used for aggressive activity, like missiles, tanks and all kinds of other items being used against Ukraine. Still Russian incompetence on display and more nonsensical commentary.

Meanwhile, hundred more Orcs were liquified today. And a major counter-offensive to retake Mariupol looks to be getting prepared. Tanks and artillery on the way, and just at a time when Putin is likely to beg Belarus to join because Russia has already lost and does not want to do it alone. Happy gulag biatches!

And like the Axis powers, Russia will experience what it means to fight a war against an opponent that is supplied by a near endless manufacturing base.

From the Telegraph. Looks like Russia played it's second last card and flopped.

European and British gas prices have fallen by almost 80pc since the panic buying in August. The benchmark TTF contract dropped below €70 per megawatt hour last week and is back to the levels just before the invasion of Ukraine. The emergence of the US as a global gas superpower has transformed the strategic balance of power. It would have been a different story if Putin had struck a few years earlier, when cheap US shale gas was mostly trapped inside the country for lack of export terminals.

Thanks for admitting it's WW3 with Ukrainians as useful idiots - all preventable if NATO wasn't arming Uks since 2014, the MInsk Agreements were observed, and the April negotiations Z was ready to have were not nixed by the US MIC and their UK metoo poodles.

Not to be forgotten:

A girl waiting for food rations. A man mourning his daughter who died from Ukraine's shelling while in a queue for humanitarian aid. A woman sheltering from explosions in a mine she's worked for 35 years. These are the faces of Donbass that the "int'l community" ignores.

German AFD politician Michael Espendiller explains that the money the EU pays, goes back to the US to pay for the weapons delivered through the lend lease act.

"The goal is to have an endless war." ... don't forget this, when hearing about Ukraine.
