It is the old dilemma. As de Gaulle once asked his German counterpart, would the Americans be willing to sacrifice New York for the defence of Hamburg? Nobody knows, hence there was always uncertainty. If the USA also sends MBTs, the Russians wont be able to threaten the Europeans for sending them.

I don't, but it's better if those tanks are there helping Ukraine than gathering dust.

No tank can win a war alone but these deliveries have been a red line till now....but now everything is possible, Ukraine will get access to the full western armory, even fighter jets are possible (I read that)....like the lend-lease programm back in WWII which made it possible for the Sovietunion not only to survive but to win.

The chance for Ukraine to see this through till a victorious end have just been raised enormously.
(Not to mention the psychological effect on both sides!)

US trying to talk Ukraine into an offensive in the south and to abandon Bakhmut. I would bet that this is also part of the deal. A full-on route in the south and a path to Crimea would seal Putin's end in Russia. If Warthog planes ever get to Ukraine this war will end quickly. They were designed for air to ground pounding. Coupled with tanks and you got a new and improved meat grinder.

Russia will not go nuclear because they know they would lose.
The only option left to the West is to arm the Ukrainians so that they win this war.

My soul hurts how many people died because of NatoSoros vermin.
