Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 5

This is the Russian plan. Align with Syria and Iran to move forward.

You shouldn't have mentioned Syria - the one place where Russians are legal and Americans are criminal trespassers.

You and others here are still like kids. Oh, look at that shiny new toy...
Take a step back to see the big picture. Russia will win for the same exact reason why the US would win if China or Russia wanted to become military BFF with Canada.

The US would say no fu*cking way and wouldn't even bother to explain why.

Mig-29 fighter planes to Ukraine...

Lovely news.

the massive cluster fvck of Syria continues.

One part of this tragedy is the way it's effectively destroyed Lebanon next door.

certified by Abdul the sheep farmer.

I don't know any sheep farmers called Abdul (it's usually part of a name, it means "servant of") however I know a sheep farmer called Osama. If everyone were like him, the world would be a far better place.

The way Muscovy is messing around in the MENA region is appalling. Aside from gassing civilians in Syria, they have bribed/blackmailed Algeria to keep oil production low, thus messing up their economy in order to craete the fuel crisis in Europe that he failed at doing anyway.

Hilarious to see Muscovy buying drones from a Chinese online shop. Next they'll be buying them from Woolworths.

Lovely news.

Yes, bellicose Poland giving Z more tools to kill more people is now "lovely" - in the opinion of a guy who never held a gun.

Since you are closer than I am, tell the idiots there that the end is already known: Russia will win because it cannot afford not to.

@Novichok
Syria is now the honeymoon capital for Russians. Imagine telling your future wife that the next beach vacation will be in Syria! LMFAO Russians are legal in Syria while the US is not. Great. Please let me know when US citizens start a campaign to open Syria to tourism. I am sure it will be a tremendous success. But then again, Russians are criminal trespassers in Ukraine while Americans are legal. Who would have thought?

@jon357
In the US we knew an Osama too. Abdul was an avoidance of the name. And farmer can be replaced with another F word. Alibaba always a great place to find cheap stuff. Soon they will be selling actual Muscovites.

Meanwhile an "electrical fire" broke out at the FSB office in Rostov. Several explosions heard in this electrical fire. Explosions allegedly from gas cans and lubricants being stored inside the building. LMAO As if anyone is going to believe that the FSB building is a storage center for little Vlads lawn care equipment and gas cans. I believe there have been several other unexplained explosions in the area over the last year. Crazy time to be in Rostov and I am sure everyone is checking their outlets today to make sure not too many appliances are plugged in. Happy gulag dumbasses.

It's a common name. The person I'm thinking of (a staunch supporter of Ukraine, btw) is one of the good guys. And unlike like the other, he's hoping to come to Poland soon for a visit. He's already visited the UK and the US for holidays and wants to see mainland Europe.

Soon they will be selling actual Muscovites.

They have a history of selling their own people. When Moscow started screaming blue murder about the slave markets in Chechnya during one of the wars there, they shut up pretty quickly when it turned out that some of the slaves were Orc army conscripts, sold by their own commanders.

And in sadder news, France is holding up the EU weapons procurement deal, delaying much-needed help for Ukraine. They're supported by South Cyprus and Greece. The reason? He wants a rule that the money can only be spent within the EU, meaning of course within France and Germany...

Those MIG's with all the tanks coming in the next few weeks should team up nicely for the counter offensive. Bakhmut is still standing too. How many months ago was Bakhmut supposed to have fallen?

Bobko
16 Mar 2023  #1722

the Leopard tanks

Will become mass graves for their tank crews, if Ukraine cannot accumulate enough artillery to execute barrages ahead of their planned offensive.

There have been 3 articles in the past week: from WaPo, NYT, and WSJ about a "catastrophic shell shortage" that risks imperiling the coming offensive. In those articles, Western officials are arguing that Ukraine is burning through "too much" artillery and losing "too many" experienced soldiers while defending Bakhmut (which US military officials have advised them to evacuate months ago).

Good thing the Ukrainians ar being trained in NATO tactics that do not rely on mass artillery barrage.

Don't worry; they'll manage. Ukraine will prevail.

Bakhmut

Still holds. How many thousands of Orcs have died so far trying to take it?

Good thing the Ukrainians ar being trained in NATO tactics

Yes; this is key. Muscovites rely on brute force, Ukraine has the best training and tactics. As part of Operation Interflex, 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers receive training from the British Arny, the best trained in the world, every 120 days. When the next cohort completes their training, that's 30,000 who'll have been through the course.

training from the British Arny, the best trained in the world

Ho-ho-ho! Best in the world, huh?

Were you watching how your "best in the world" 77th Brigade (formed in the summer of 2022 as an "elite" formation), was ground up and left lifeless by a bunch of Wagner convicts after it got rotated into Bakhmut?

As a general in the WaPo article says, the distance between a soldier with 6 months combat experience, and a soldier fresh from a military training ground is Heaven and Earth.

This war takes "elite" formations, chews them up without a casual glance, and moves on.

jon357

The British Army aren't in Bakhmut, you fool.

How many orcs have been sent to hell in Bakhmut?

Bobko

@jon357

I wasn't talking about the British 77th, but the Ukrainian Aeromobile 77th. They were trained by you lot. Everyone was excited to see what they're capable of. Not much, as it emerged.

Poland has detained 9 Muscovite spies for planning attacks on railways that are moving items to Ukraine. Wouldnt it be fitting if Warsaw treated these POS like the Orcs treated Ukraine people in Bucha? Of course it wont happen because the west is civilized, but it sure is a warm thought.

Bobko
16 Mar 2023  #1735

@Tacitus

If it results, that the Battle of Bakhmut drained the AFU of blood and munitions to the extent that it's no longer capable of meaningful offensive action - then yes.

Preliminary results of Bakhmut:

1) Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kharkov had ground to a halt at Kreminna. Now RF forces are busy pushing the Ukrainians back into Kharkov.
2) Formations from the Kherson and Zaporozhye front were rotated to Bakhmut, relieving pressure on our forces there.
3) Hundreds of thousands of shells, and tens of thousands of Ukrainians were digested there, at the cost of poorly-trained convict soldiers.
4) It has destabilized the political situation in Ukraine, as Zelensky is increasingly blamed for what seems a senseless bloodbath, more reminiscent of the Russian approach.

5) As one Russian blogger says, "Bakhmut is the origin of Ukrainian fear". Now if some political or military person in Ukraine is disgraced, they say - "send him to Bakhmut". It is viewed as a punishment akin to a death sentence. The reason Ukrainian optimism and fighting spirit has evaporated since the successes of the Fall, is Bakhmut. They throw everything they can at it, and can see it has no effect, as our forces continue to advance methodically. This would demoralize any force.

human life doesn't mean anything to russians.... thousands of poor young men killed? no big deal... chance of empire growing? YASSS!!!!!

it's an anti-life anti-human "culture" with no redeeming features...

Tacitus

AFU of blood and munitions to the extent that it's no longer capable

That is your assumption. I would wait until the time for the expected Ukrainian offensive to actually pass in order to make such an assesment.

What we can say with relative certainty at this point is that

1) Russias capabilities to launch an offensive are evidently much smaller than anticipated. There used to be talks on this forum and elsewhere that Russia may launch a second attempt at Kiev or it may try to encircle the entire Donbass. Instead the Russians have (unsuccessfully) sacrificed wave after wave of their men to take a small, if well-fortified city. In other words, the expected results went down from taking a region to a small city. And recent intelligence assesment even make it questionable if Russian is even able to achieve that much.

2) The Russians endured significant losses, estimated to be 5-7 times the defenders. We shall see which side can absorb those losses better, but it is hardly something to be satisfied about from the Russian point of view. No doubt more concerning for the Russian leadership the the loss of life is the loss of equipment, with the battle at Vuhledar being the most notable example.

3) More and more modern heavy artillery arrives in Ukraine and with dwindling Soviet stockpiles, so does the Russian ability to outfire the Ukrainians. At some point the Russians could fire ten times as much artillery rounds as the Ukrainians. Now they are down to 3:1. Which given Ukrainian superiority in tactics and a greater accuracy is not promising at all for Moscow.

4) Ukraine is currently assembling its newly trained armoured forces, "an iron fist" as the Russian Goebbels counterpart recently put it. It will be interesting to see how the Russians perform against equipment that is not 40 years out date.

just as the US cannot ever allow Canada, Cuba, or Mexico to be in a military alliance with Russia

Pure projection, it's highly unlikely that American people would support a full scale war against it, if most of Mexican people were ready to fight them over their political alignment, USA tolerated commie Cuba and Venezuela for decades.

Neither USA, nor Russia are entitled to their neighbors being friendly with them, it has to be earned.
Russia is vile and sh*it, while America arrogant, but cool and Mexico is not afraid of it, so it has no reason to align with it's enemies to protect itself from it.
