Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 5

Paulina

A heartbreaking article titled "Stolen Children" about the reality of Ukrainian children from the territories that were occupied by RuSSia, who were sent by gullible parents for "two week holidays in RuSSia" and were never sent back. Kids are telling about what they went through in the camps in RuSSia, about the political reeducation and how they were being told that their parents don't want them, that they abandoned them. The mothers are telling about why they sent their kids there, about their fear that they would never get them back and how they got them back in the end (there are still Ukrainian children there who didn't get back to their families though):

wiadomosci.wp.pl/ukradzione-dzieci-6878109937597248a

A fragment from the article (my translation):

"- In our group there was a 5-year-old boy. He was crying all time, because he didn't manage to contact his parents. Another girl, a teenager, got really angry when she was told that her family won't take her back. She was throwing herself at the supervising teachers, she was kicking them. Then she disappeared. The supervising teachers said that she was taken to a psychiatric hospital - said Valeria."

💔💔💔

What an evil, degenerated, f*cked up country RuSSia is... Nazi Germany was doing the same. RuSSians are the real "Nazis".

On a very positive note, the UK Secretry of Stae for Defence hs said that Britain Britain is ready to help Poland fill its air defence gaps caused by Warsaw sending some of its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.

That is true international cooperation against a common foe.

@Paulina
You're wasting your time on these Putinazi coxuckers. They do not care about the truth, or actual people. They only care about their "ideas" and their versions of right and wrong. Talking to Novi, Velund and Bobko is like trying to explain the Bible to a room full of downs adults. Impossible for them to even grasp the subtleties of a parable. In the mean time, Russia exported 100K new under 30 women to Dubai in exchange for old Nintendo Gameboy processors to power the next wave of "high tech" Russian missiles. Happy gulag you stupid mother fvckers!

@Novichok
In the United States, someone of your ilk would be secretly sharing video tape of the snuff movie the sick Orc fvcks probably made of her. You and your boyz running out of Kleenex yet over the Xi & Putin man love yet?

In other news..... russia is eating its seed corn....

twitter.com/ChrisO_wiki/status/1637869043884384297

putain's drive to destroy his country is picking up steam as he goes for graduating university students....

it's hard to imagine how he could be doing more long term damage to the country if that were his aim (rather than just trying to grab some kind of 'victory' out of a lost cause)

if I cared what happened to russia I'd be concerned.....

as he goes for graduating university students....

he's also raising the upper age for conscription. Both of these factors are a recipe for disaster. He should seize the first chance to back down before he destroys his country. Xi may well talk some sense into him, however I'm sceptical.

if I cared what happened to russia

I'd like to think I don't, however the more that toilet of a country degrades, the more unstable and rash it could potentially get.

But he won't because he is an effing lunatic!

Xi is coming to Moscow in February, let's see what happens.

I was wrong! Turned out to be March.

Putin is laying on the compliments thick :)

Putin said: "Over the last few years, China has made a colossal leap forward in its development. This arouses genuine interest all over the world and we are even a bit jealous of you."

Its only to see how much artillery he can sell him. Whats the EU going to do after Xi arms Putan? I hope youre not planning on Bidumb to do anything. Havent you noticed how Budumb just gives away enough to keep the war going but never enough to actually win?

Oh no, a train load of Orc cruise missiles was destroyed in Crimea yesterday. San you believe it? Trains filled with dwindling missiles supplies now getting hit? I of all places, Putins prized occupied area of Crimea! Say it isn't so. Poor little Vlad had that embarrassing event taking place just when he is begging Xi for weapons. The timing of it certainly is beautiful. Happy gulag Putinazi's!

Don't look now, but the US is accelerating delivery of Patriot systems and Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Funny how this lines up with the Chink meeting with the Orc in Muscovy.

Interesting... Girkin (one of the architects of the Donbas/Novorossija project) admits that local adminstrative figures did not support annexation to russia and were forced at gunpoint to agree to it.

Not a popular uprising... a russian invasion.
Thos who believe RT will ignore this but Girkin was there and they weren't.

And it's not like Girkin is some kind of dissident - he thinks putain is too soft....

I wonder what happened to all those weapons little Vlad was hoping to get a commitment on? Doesn't look like he is going to get much of anything. Meanwhile, it looks like the Orcs are beginning to fade in Bakhmut now, and the Ukraine spring counter offensive will begin soon. You got to love when a plan comes together. China heads home, little Vlad is probably going crazy, and Mevedev is out at a gay club crossdressing. All the while Orcs getting turned into spring fertilizer in Ukraine. Happy gulag biatches!

Twitter has it that Putin now is pulling out his stocks of old T-50/55 tanks....running out of T-62's....

I wonder how they will hold up against Abrams and Leopards....once they come....

Twitter has it that Putin now is pulling out his stocks of old T-50/55 tanks

It is only appropriate if the lion's share of new tanks Ukraine is receiving are 1950s vintage Leopard 1s. From what I read in Russian media, the 1950s-era tanks that are being refurbished will be used as stationary, dug-in defensive positions. Essentially, mobile field guns.

Tacitus
22 Mar 2023  #1875

@Bratwurst Boy

I wonder how they will hold up

Most likely very poorly. The Leo1 was specifically designed to counter the T55, and the ones Ukraine is about to achieve are upgraded versions capable of fighting later Russian versions.

I strongly suspect that the Bradleys will be the real game changer however in tank warfare. They come in larger numbers than the Leo2, with more in storage and are incredibly lethal. Their guns will tear through the Russian tanks like toilet paper.

Essentially, mobile field guns.

....not to be underestimated then!

The Leo1 was specifically designed to counter the T55,

Did they ever met before in some Cold War proxy hot war? Could be interesting....

Tacitus

Could be interesting

As far as I know not. Guess a lot of those hypothetical Cold War turns into hot war scenarios will finally be tested for real... .

A fun article for fans of this thread to peruse.

Title: "Ukraine is Going to Lose"

Publication: Hong Kong-based "Asia Times" - one of the leading English-language papers of East Asia.

Would love to hear your feedback.

Link: asiatimes.com/2023/03/ukraine-is-going-to-lose/

Quote:

There's a notion floating around the Internet that the current conflict in Ukraine is going to remain a static war of attrition that will bleed the Russian army dry. So what if it decimates Ukraine's society and eradicates most of its population? At least the dreaded Russian war machine will have been ground to a halt in the killing fields of Ukraine.

Those believing this narrative are living in a fantasy.

Oh those Asians... so pragmatic and cynical... Not a drop of romance in those fellas.

Not a drop of romance in those fellas

Maybe only with their asian perspective?

From a european viewpoint Ukraine will win in the end....no foreign invader could hold onto a territory with an essentially hostile population forever. A war might be won, for a time being, but the peace has been lost always....even when it needed decades. In the end said hostile population always got their independence and the military victor still had to leave, the loser of history.

That is the (modern) european experience....but in Asia they have China, with lotsa opressed, hostile populations and still going strong. So.....

Korvinus

a static war of attrition

At this point those T-54s cost less than the ATGM used to destroy them. Truly a Russian tactic of attrition if I ever seen one.

Isn't it a 5 man tank though? Many mobiks will be called upon to pay the ultimate price.

If I were a European, I would focus my energies on thinking about how I could possibly compete with the US and China without Russia on-side.

Russia was Europe's ticket to sovereignty. Merkel and Scholz understood this. Chirac and Fillon understood this. Berlusconi and Conte appreciated this. Even the Dutch, despite MH17 understood.

In the end, the Brexiteer Brits and PiS Poles won the debate. Enjoy your meal now.

......not many people here think about competing with the US (anymore), rather about how to partner up better with them to have a chance against China! THAT is the new real enemy...would be cool to have Russia on our side though.

Europe's interests and America's interests are obviously not the same thing. Americans love you only a little bit less than Russians do - which is a quantity slightly smaller than zero.

Tacitus

A fun article for fans of this thread to peruse.

It certainly made for an amusing read, given we now know that the authors assumptions about Bakhmut have turned out to be false. Far from pushing up the Dnipro, the Russian army is now seen as unlikely to succesfully to take the city before the Ukrainian counter offensive starts.

It is inevitable that this war will end with Russia as a big loser. The only question is how much damage it can do to Ukraine and itself before it accepts this.

only a little bit less than Russians

At least they are not invading us or threatening us with nuclear annihilation.

Bratwurst Boy
22 Mar 2023  #1886

The new big player in the 'hood is China...alone Europe has no chance at all, and even the mighty US will have to work alot harder to still be taken seriously. The smarter ones have long acknowledged that we have better chances together than everybody alone for itself or even worse additionally infighting.

Hence the rebirth of our alliances be they military or economically....a truth even the Brexit or PiS can't change!

Americans love you only a little bit less than Russians do

....but the Chinese don't love you at all! Russia would be next on their list, once they had Europe and/or the US under their thumbs, make no mistake! They don't have friends!

Tacitus
22 Mar 2023  #1887

If nothing else the war has reminded the Europeans that we need to cooperate more on militarily matters for our security. Step by step we get closer to a European army. From shared military projects like the European Sky Shield Initiative and the decision to pool ammunition production to closer military integration between our armies.

Bobko
22 Mar 2023  #1888

They don't have friends!

Somehow we will manage...

Our friends in America and Europe turned out to be... less than friends. If the Chinese will not supply tanks and rockets that kill Russian people, call our people subhuman, and treat our leader as a war criminal - I think we will manage some form of accommodation.

Bratwurst Boy
22 Mar 2023  #1889

Our friends in America and Europe turned out to be... less than friends.

Really! And here in Germany so many believed in a strong European-Russian friendship....till the day Putin invaded Ukraine Germans really thought we had a good thing going with Russia, even smiling and mocking all those warners from Poland and elsewhere...ready to put our energetic needs fully into your hands, trusting you totally!

Where did it go wrong Bobko? What did we do wrong? Are we to blame?

Bobko

Where did it go wrong Bobko? What did we do wrong? Are we to blame?

You should have shut up the Poles, ignored the Americans, and helped us implement Minsk II. I think that's actually what Merkel tried to do, despite her outrageous remarks to the media where she claimed she was "just trying to buy time for Ukraine".

This was a problem for Russia, France, and Germany to manage (maybe + Italy). The moment you let the American elephant into the room, everything went to sh!t.
