Gagarin didn't make that flight.

This is not true, but they sent him into space only after beings with higher intelligence, such as a dog or a monkey, survived these flights.

The Soviet Union had areas in which it excelled

In comparison to France, we were first in:

1) First in launching a satellite into space
2) First in sending a man to space
3) First in building a manned orbital laboratory
4) First in building a nuclear power plant
5) First in building a Tokamak-design nuclear fusion reactor
6) First in developing a predecessor to the Internet
7) First to develop an artificial heart
8) Invention of the LED (so if you are reading this on a monitor, you have the Soviets to thank for it).

In comparison to France, we were first in:

So far in its long and vile history Russia lost wars to Tartars, Lithuania, Poland, Great Britain, France, Turkey, Japan, Germany, Austro-Hungary, Afghanistan and its own province, Chechnya. Now it's time Russia lost to a literal ghost. Of Kyiv.

In Russia, the year is 1990, first Mcdonalds opened:

1

2

3

4

5

6

The year is 2022. When McDonalds refused Russia its godly graces, government quickly created a bootleg copy of it, so that Russians could keep on eating burgers instead of rioting.

@Bobko
Really? Fvcking Moses created the predecessor to the internet with two fvcking stone tablets. You're grasping at straws. Russia in the 50's to 80's could have done a lot, but they didnt, the sqaundered the intelligence and creativity of the few who would dare to invent and create. Russia is the text book on how to have everything at your fingertips and fvck it up. Really an embarassing waste of opportunity and resources.

The first human in space, nobody can take that away from the Russians.

Don`t be silly, they sent a dummy instead. Gagarin flight was a spoof, made up in the Moscowfilm studio.

Some say it was PR and Gagarin didn't make that flight.

Of course. The only connection of Gagarin with space exploration was his infamous Raketa watch, the fastest watch in the world!!! hahahaha buhahahaha

we were first in:

Hey, we thought they locked you up in NYC!!

russian barbarians killed 10,000 civilians, including 500 children, during the 500 days of the war in Ukraine. Israeli gentlemen killed 10,000 civilians including 3,000 children during the 26 days of the war in Gaza. 🤔

I could not agree more.....Russians are a waste of space....

As for the Russians...the first satellite (Sputnik 1), the flight of the first animal in space (the dog Laika on Sputnik 2), the flight of the first human in space and in Earth's orbit (astronaut Yuri Gagarin on Vostok 1), the flight of the first woman in space and Earth's orbit (astronaut Valentina Tereshkova on Vostok 6), the first spacewalk (astronaut Aleksey Leonov on Voshod 2), the first study of the influence of the Moon (Luna 2), the first picture of the dark side of the Moon (Luna 3), an unmanned lunar soft landing (Luna 9), the first space rover (astromobile), the first space station, the first interplanetary probe, etc., etc.

Is it a little? Admit it, don't be stingy, that it is commendable that they deal with the Universe, even now, when they have so much important work on Earth.

Indeed.

If something is stated 'officially' by r*SSia it ha to be assumed to be a lie. They have lied too often to be credible.

God bless you, Alien.

Is Vladolf Putler still alive.

Or are r*SSia behind the rumours of his death in order to gauge public reaction over there?

In comparison to France, we were first in

Russia had 2 decades in which they made some advances in space. Compare that to e.g. the several decades France (in competition with Germany) was the leading country in medicine. Louis Pasteur alone did more for modern medicine than all Russian scientists put together.

Chances are French inventions prevented you or your ancestors from an early death.

And thanks to Putin this will likely remain the case for quite some time.

Russia loves Z because Z is an idiot with a messiah complex...Quoting:

...we Russians must keep Zelensky as the apple of our eye, because no one brings more chaos to the conduct of hostilities on the Ukrainian side and more discord to Kiev's relations with the West than he does.

I dont know about other countries but since covid in the US you cant just go pick up a iphone, you first have to reserve one online then make an appointment to pick up.They eliminated lines in there stores.Usually the first month they have a months wait after pre booking starts. You can only buy accessories through walk ins.One has a 15 minute slot to be there and usually they ask you to get a new appointment if you miss it.

And from this year they even changed the charging cables to universal and no plug in charger either.Thx to the EU law,but is a pain as you have to buy one separately as its not a normal usb charger now too. There origanal cable dont even work in planes now.

U.S. and European officials have begun quietly talking to the Ukrainian government about what possible peace negotiations with Russia might entail to end the war, according to one current senior U.S. official and one former senior U.S. official familiar with the discussions.

Officials also have privately said Ukraine likely only has until the end of the year or shortly thereafter before more urgent discussions about peace negotiations should begin. U.S. officials have shared their views on such a timeline

talking to the Ukrainian government about what possible peace negotiations with Russia

Because Ukraine is losing. They would not be talking peace if Ukraine was winning.

Ukraine could win if the US gave them long range missile to take out the bridge. It really is that simple. The US has slow rolled the support and now gotten rid of all the old stocks to make room for all the new toys they are producing. But Russia had more men to throw at Ukraine. It is a draw right now, and if the US doesnt send more in the next 30 days, I think this is over one way or another by the end of January.

You are assuming that Russia would then say oops, sorry and go home.
My bet is that Russia would gaza Kiev.

I'd guess that this is something that they've been strategising since day one or before.

As r*SSia's losses become increasingly unsustainable there are doubtless individuals in the Kremlin who are realistic though sadly there are individuals who are not.

@Novichok
Little Vlad wants to keep Kiev in one piece, He has said as much. It really is a nice city, I have been several times. My guess is he technically keeps C, D, L but they become demilitarized. Ukraine could not join NATO, which the US isnt going to let happen anyway.

The US, screwed Ukraine by not giving them enough to really win, when they had the chance. But Ukraine brought it on themselves. They are as corrupt as ever according to unnamed Ukraine government sources in some news reports. But the US gets a weakened Russian military, and so does the EU. Z will go retire somewhere with his millions and write a book to make more money.

"We would never invade Ukraine, this is CIA misinformation!!!" - invades Ukraine 2 weeks later.
"Kherson is part of Russia forever!!!" - leaves Kherson 2 weeks later.
Two weeks takes forever.
Forever takes 2 weeks.

"We would never invade Ukraine, this is CIA misinformation!!!" - invades Ukraine 2 weeks later.

Next time, we should demand a time schedule and all the relevant details from every invading army. You made a good point.

"Kherson is part of Russia forever!!!" - leaves Kherson 2 weeks later.

The US left Afghanistan after 20 years when it realized the futility of staying there.
Russia left Kherson when it realized the futility of staying there.
The Polish government left Poland in 1939 when it realized the futility of staying there.

You have a very keen mind to notice what Russia did.

Ignoring that the same happened to the soviets years before, but they didn't have a deal with the Taliban to harass Iran etc.

No, true humiliation is being so butthurt that Russia screwed up a war with a country a fraction its size that they've constantly got to point the finger back at America to distract themselves.

What's next? Vietnam?

Novichok
4 Nov 2023  #3927

Hey, Milo, saying that Russians are a waste of space is so out of bounds that no rational response is possible.
Was it really your intention?
This is Hitler's talk.

Brits won`t hesitate to fire their nukes against Russia then. Don`t count on their gentlemanly manners. They have enough to strike all major Russian cities. :):):)

...a country where Russia's ex-country live with many of them Russians or speaking Russians.

Try to imagine a war between the US and Canada or the UK. Do you think the US would nuke either? Nuking "Japs" was easy.

For the record, I wish the US had more nuke earlier for these scumbags.

youtube.com/watch?v=CSs9nzkqV-Y - this is 21 year after photos of a line above... ;) And United States of something....

Lines to McDonalds in Russia was eliminated in a first week, too. ;) But I would find myself with friends in a videos - we heard about opening of first Mac and just for fun decided to go, was a lot of spare time on that day. ;) Once we come, we understand that too many people do the same. ;)

bootleg copy

Bottleg copy assume that trade mark owner have some losses due to activity of copycats. Here, loss is zero, as McD leave Russia. So, why Russian government should spend anything to protect their trade mark and copyrights? Zero losses - zero taxes - zero limit of expenses to protect. As with any other goods that is not offered for sale due to any non-market reasons, like sanctions. No monetary loss - no need of protection.
