Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 7

@jon357
I disagree with your thinking the world doesnt need Russia. I could argue that the world was a safer place before 1991. Everyone knew who was spying and plotting against who. For all your distaste of capitalism, it is exactly that which broke the USSR and all its followers. Communism, socialism and the other ism's simply do not work and never will. This is actually part of the US problem, all the democrats want to socialize the country, and people are fighting against it.

Russia, now after having their military depleted, could very easily evolve if little Vlad is not in power. All of the wealth being taken from citizens could easily be put back into the Russian peoples pockets. Kuwait for instance makes sure that every Kuwait citizen gets oil money. Imagine the wealth of the Russian people if the oligarchs were taken out of these equations. Imagine the innovation, and competition that could be developed by a people that have access to finances. Imagine the global impact on all economies. This should be the globalists dream, not some bull$hit of a free basic income. Imagine Ukraine, after showing how innovative they are in this war, having access to finance. Imagine Poland without all the theft and cronyism in state owned companies. Capitalism looks pretty fvcking good. And I dont know anyone who is busy making money that wants to fight and mess that up.

Innovation, PAK?

As we say: "Only in RuSSia".

All cultures have their dichotomies.

All cultures have their dichotomies.

If you say so, AntV... I haven't heard about a Christian church being adorned these days with communist symbols in a non-communist country though besides RuSSia, so unless you heard of any such church somewhere in the world, what I wrote still stands - "Only in RuSSia"...

Innovation, PAK?

Yes, AntV, innovation :):

Churches don't have a monopoly on dichotomies, Paulina.

That link is a paywall, you got a link where I don't have to pay? Looks like an interesting article where I might be able to do some learnin'.

Innovation, PAK?

He probably means how innovative Ukraine's ruling mob is in extracting billions from a financial bum on the verge of going broke, the US, who has to steal money it does not have from its citizens while knowing that it will be stolen by the Ukrainian ruling mob before sundown.

Just as generals of the opposing armies feel camaraderie, thieves feel likewise about other thieves and try to learn how to steal more and faster while making it legal. The US ruling mob got it to perfection.

I said "probably" just in case I am wrong about PAK.

@AntV
Ukraine has been nothing short of brilliant with its innovation of equipment and techniques in this war.

Novichok
7 Nov 2023  #4027

Hey, PAK, my apologies...I thought you meant the innovation of how to steal and still have the nerve to demand more...

Paulina

Churches don't have a monopoly on dichotomies, Paulina.

I didn't claim that they do, AntV. It looks like RuSSia has a monopoly on this religion-communism dichotomy though.

That link is a paywall, you got a link where I don't have to pay?

Sorry, I was reading about this stuff in Polish articles that were free, as far as I remember. Google is your friend though.

Hey, PAK, my apologies...I thought you meant

You often think wrong :)

@PolAmKrakow

I'm interested in knowing the types of innovations. My previous post should have said "What types...."

Novichok

Ukrainians are lucky because Russia is timid and not sure if Ukrainians are friends or foes.

Replace Russia with the US and the military activity would be over in 30 days and Z executed after a brief trial.

In that sense, I am proud to be an American. The next 20 years would be another matter...

Israel seems to like the US approach more...

You recently wrote that the US lost all wars after World War 2. 🤭

Novichok
7 Nov 2023  #4032

That's why I brilliantly used the term "military activity" in the post above yours.
It is possible to win this phase and lose the war when you (editorial) decide to turn into a moron and have a list of prohibited targets. See Vietnam.

Iraq was better. We killed 300,000 civilians but that's OK since the cause was right. I mean the imaginary WMDs, freedom, democracy, and military sector employment.

I'm interested in knowing the types of innovations.

Here's what I've read about:

1) Software for distributed battlespace command and control. Basically, an app that runs on an infantryman's tablet. Not really unique, and also exists in Russia - but still pretty impressive for a home grown Ukrainian product.

2) Probably fair to say they were the first to scale the use of civilian drones as weapons. On the other hand, it's hardly rocket science to attach a 3D-printed grenade-release mechanism to a drone.

3) They've produced some impressive autonomous attack boats. It's not clear how much help they got, however, since I've read in at least one place that they received help from the CIA in working on that project.

4) They've been quite good at doing stuff like turning an American air to air missile, into a surface to air missile.

Most of this is more about them being scrappy MacGyvers, than truly innovative.

Fact of the matter is:

1) In the second year of its war with Russia, Ukraine is more dependent than ever on Western military and financial aid.

2) Its indigenous defense industry is not capable of meeting even a small portion of the Ukrainian army's needs.

3) They are completely reliant on Western communication infrastructure and intelligence.

Remember, that in Soviet times Ukraine constituted an enormous part of the Soviet military industrial complex. They produced intercontinental ballistic missiles, aircraft carriers, and the most modern tanks. It's not an exaggeration, to say that Ukraine had an arms industry equivalent in size to the remainder of Europe sans Russia.

So if anything, those fellows are regressing - not innovating. When someone goes from launching rockets into space, to boasting about dropping a grenade from a quadcopter, that's not very much of an achievement.

And some facts about Udmurtian military

1. They are completely reliant on Third World countries like North Korea and Uganda

2. There is no indigenous defense industry to speak of. Just a direct funnel from taxpayers into Cyprus bank accounts controlled by thieves who use the money to buy villas and shoes for their mistresses

3. They are completely reliant on 1960s infrastructure and now too scared to demonstrate any of their wunder waffen because they don't want the civilized world to laugh at them

And some facts

Well, if everything is really the way you described it, then why do you constantly walk around $hitting your pants in fear and cheer yourself up with propaganda shouts about Udmurt inferiority?

PS: Russians are no strangers to humanity... And at first they're a little scared. Then they get a little scared too. And then they don't give a fcuk. And then it's time for those who tried to scare them to be scared.

As the resident professional russophobe (where are my checks?!?) this is interesting.

A Russian in Poland translates comments and reactions about Poland from the russian internet space into Polish.... very illuminating in general, especially this one....

youtube.com/watch?v=k7OgRbENAm0

partial translation of the first comment (from his Polish version) from a russian who'd been in Warsaw and Krakow...

"What irritates me in Poland is that it's so nice and clean, I'm very jealous of Poles and wish they lived worse. They don't deserve such a good life. We russians should live like them... why dont' we live that way? We russians should be in their place, we deserve that and they should be our work force.... all the cleanliness in the street just made me angry. I just wanted to destroy something"

In the comments....

"The problem with russians is that they don't want to live like others, they want others to live like them. It's hard to understand"

OMG - time for us to be scared ! LOL

Is the Udmurtian "special forces" on the way? Roaring drunk, with no fuel, no ammo and no GPS ?

Your army can't fight it's way out of a paper bag. Intoxicated big eared farm boys ate nothing to be scared of.

Meanwhile, the chief aide to Zaluzhny, was killed by a German grenade he received for his birthday (he received 6 total, as a gift).

No Russians involved - just Ukrainian geniuses.

That sums up their nihilism. If they can;'t have something they want, they just destroy it.

There are some interesting things to take away from the intercepted phone calls between the war criminal Igor Girkin and his wife, chiefly that r*SSia is pretty well exhausted in terms of men and equipment.

Who needs ammo or GPS, when you can have clean clothes?

Russians have a tradition of staying clean, that goes back a millennium. When most Europeans smelled like month-old stale p!ss, Russians were in the habit of regularly visiting a banya.

Now we wage war, for sanitation. As noble a cause as any.

Happily, I own my condo. When I still used to be a smoker, this fact used to drive my renting neighbors and building management crazy.

Three families moved in and out of the unit next door, within a period of three years, because of the offensive tobacco smoke. I kept smoking - belligerently - because this is a free country.

So if something is either a co-op, or a condo, what is the thing that is being discussed?

Is it just a co-op "dwelling", or condo "dwelling"? Is it a co-op or condo "house"? What the hell is the person living in?

Most people that are not cold blooded reptilians refer to smaller residences located inside buildings as apartments.
