Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 7

mafketis
31 Aug 2023  #1081

The minute support to Ukraine is withdrawn (by the US - would be sufficient), it will collapse.

Comforting myth... the Ukrainians have Asabiyah and russia doesn't. Even if russia wins it's only choice is to exterminate all Ukrainians because it's clear they are not and will not be russians....

the price is blood.

You'd think russians would have had enough blood by now.... what's one more bit of genocide for a people so used to it.....

cms neuf
31 Aug 2023  #1082

Maybe - doesn't change the fact that 'a army are drunk losers, reliant on China and Iran.

And why would the west withdraw support - it's obvious that we don't want murdering rapists to win and will not allow that

mafketis
31 Aug 2023  #1083

reliant on China and Iran.

Don't forget North Korea!

How the mighty have fallen russia is now beggin North Korea, the literal worst country in the world, for weapons.....

North Korea starved about 10 % of its population to death... and now russia is begging them for help....

I know russians love the idea of starving people to death but this is ridiculous!

russians have no pride in anything but destruction.....

@cms neuf

Jokers, the lot of you.

Iran gave us a few hundred drones, which we've since started manufacturing ourselves (improved, lower failure rate, and possible to produce at scale).

North Korea, maybe, provided us with some mortar rounds and artillery shells. Also, I wouldn't be so dismissive of their military - which is likely in the top 10 globally in terms of raw firepower. There's a reason America maintains large bases there.

China has not provided anything but vests, helmets, commercial drones, and dual use components.

For all of the above we have paid, twice, thrice the market price, because people dealing with us fear sanctions and are also motivated by greed.

Contrast this with Ukraine, where the US and European taxpayer is literally paying pensions and teacher's salaries.

31 Aug 2023  #1085

I'm happy to pay the pensions of freedom loving peaceful neighbors in their time of need. Maybe one day they will repay the favor to us, maybe not. We are just behaving like a Christian nation.

Your Udmurtian taxes are being spent blowing innocent air hostesses out of the sky to settle petty s
arguments that started in high-end Moscow restaurants

At this stage though I don't know why you are still on this forum arguing, you said you were in good shape and of military age and an Udmurtian citizen. So why not switch off your computer and go and join up ? . How can you look your countrymen in the face? Putin and Lavrov have both clearly said that Ukraine are the aggressor and that Udmurtia is in mortal danger

Or is fighting something best left to the big eared Siberian farm boys?

The ultimate goal for the Russians is the destabilization of Nigeria - that is, the flow of oil to/in Nigeria. They are trying to create a crisis to damage the Western economy

Interesting... the Nigerians are busy killing Christians living there, is this the work of the Russians do you think?

Bobko

At least, I'm not a clueless Western cheerleader for death.

One thing you are right about, is posing the question what the hell I am doing here on this forum. More than half of the frequent posters, have by this time wished death upon me.

A real cult of death here.

cms neuf

I certainly have not said that. if Velund or you ever joined up then I would very much like you to return safe and well to your families. But only after seeing how senseless this war is. And definitely that you would only be firing at combatants, not innocent Ukrainian civilians.

It is rather you who a couple of weeks ago was saying you were tracked me down in Ukraine and shoot me.

Well... we were having essentially another iteration of this same conversation.

Tell you the truth, I regretted almost immediately what I wrote.

Anyways, what will happen when Ukraine Forces will cut off mainland connection with Krym?
I mean what will Moscow do? Carry on or cut off their tail and give up?

cms neuf

It's fine Bobko - I didn't take it personally.

But it's a kind of serious question - are you genuinely thinking of signing up ? What if the Ukies crossed the border and tried to annex Belgorod or Rostov ?

Bobko

what will happen when Ukraine Forces will cut off mainland connection with Krym?

You say it, as if it is already written in the stars. Patience, Iron.

Carry on or cut off their tail and give up?

They would have to drive on to Moscow and put Zelensky in the Kremlin, for us to give up. Russia is vast, and it will swallow them up. If they don't dare to cross the border, we'll simply gather our strength and come at them again - stronger than before.

are you genuinely thinking of signing up ?

I'm afraid my father will disown me, and my girlfriend hang herself)

today I learnt that general Suvorov was a rather saintly man

Today - I was rereading Josephus's history of the Judean War. Here's a passage, describing the scene shortly before the destruction of the Temple:

As the legions charged in, neither persuasion nor threat could check their impetuosity: passion alone was in command. Crowded together around the entrances many were trampled by their friends, many fell among the still hot and smoking ruins of the colonnades and died as miserably as the defeated. As they neared the Sanctuary they pretended not even to hear Caesar's commands and urged the men in front to throw in more firebrands. The partisans were no longer in a position to help; everywhere was slaughter and flight. Most of the victims were peaceful citizens, weak and unarmed, butchered wherever they were caught. Round the Altar the heaps of corpses grew higher and higher, while down the Sanctuary steps poured a river of blood and the bodies of those killed at the top slithered to the bottom.

Tell me, again, that it is easy to control soldiers driven wild by rage.

control soldiers driven wild by rage

The soldiers driven wild be rage in Ukraine..... aren't the russian ones (underfed, undertrained, treated like disposable dish rags).

Unless you're talking about the collective narcissistic rage that russians are feeling since Ukrainians have rejected them and their loser culture... and the jealousy they feel looking at people so like them yet so different... unafraid to stand up for what they believe in.... what do russians believe in besides killing (a thought which seems to excite you) what would Ukrainians have under russian rule (that they want) that they can't get on their own?

youtu.be/6mU_b_mqCZI

The best part: "NATO's increase in spending in market exchange rate terms for 2023 (...) is about three quarters the size of the wartime Russian defence budget. So while we're talking about a relative small change in percentage terms within NATO, it's still an awful lot of cash that is being moved around"

Russia is vast, and it will swallow them up

Ah yes, we were sooooo scared.

It never ceases to amaze me to what lengths Russians are able to go to support their collapsing felling of superiority.

Bobko
31 Aug 2023  #1097

Google is your friend, but no - not the Bible.

Ah yes, we were sooooo scared.

Strain your brain, and give me an example of someone that conquered Russia - the Horde excluded. Even the Horde, we made our b!tches, and they still serve us.

Tell me, again, that it is easy to control soldiers driven wild by rage.

I never said it was easy. A holy general should be able to do it though. Also, a saint would have definitely made sure that the perpetrators of the atrocities were justly punished; Suvorov did no such thing.

So, I am still going to play advocatus diaboli here and oppose this canonization. Sorry.

Bobko
31 Aug 2023  #1099

Suvorov did no such thing.

In the Russian histories I've read since your outburst, I've read that he hanged more than a hundred men for what happened in Praga. I'm sure, if more Poles came forward to complain, he would hang those men as well.

I have no pity for rapists and murderers - I hope you understand. To serve your country in war is a privilege. Beyond a lack of discipline, and being corrosive to morale - this is a big problem for any army.

GefreiterKania

In the Russian histories

Which would seem to be significantly at variance with Polish histories in this regard. Maybe there should be a joint Polish-Russian commission to write history textbooks. I would gladly pay for pay-per-view stream of the commission meetings. :)

Out-what? The only user that can cause me to burst out sometimes is Pawian, but even he fails to annoy me recently.

@GefreiterKania

Kania - in principle - the question is:

1) Would good Russians kill Poles for pleasure? The answer is an unequivocal NO!

2) Is it normal, for a relatively weaker neighbor, to be subjugated by one that is stronger? Again, answer is unequivocally YES.

3) Do Russians see in Poles brothers, in contrast to Germans, French or Americans? Of course they do!

We have no racial hatred for you, as we do for the Banderites. They used all their credit, they drew on all possible funds, and they could not escape us. The time for retribution, for better or worse, has come.

GefreiterKania

Do Russians see in Poles brothers, in contrast to Germans, French or Americans? Of course they do!

That's nice to hear, but then again they say that civil wars are the most bitter and leave the longest lasting wounds. I'm quite sure that both Polish and Russian sources on Napoleonic wars agree that Polish prisoners were treated much worse than the French ones during Napoleon's Russian campaign precisely because they were not considered foreign prisoners of war but rebels (i.e. traitors).

We have no racial hatred for you

Which makes sense as we are the same race and even subrace (if there is such thing :)). No matter what some users here might tell you, there is no inherent - "sucked out with mother's milk" - hatred for Russia in Poles (anyways, you watched the videos I posted once - if you went around Polish streets yourself and asked the questions today, you would get very similar answers).

Bobko
31 Aug 2023  #1103

that Polish prisoners were treated much worse than the French ones

Are you surprised?

I have not seen many videos of Ukrainian POWs that did not have some number of bruises on their face.

The feeling of betrayal is real. We don't want to fight you. We want to raise the West from its knees, and put it on all fours. You and your banderist collaborators are getting in the way of the plan.

Not the behavior of brothers.

conquered Russia

Why on earth would we want that?
It is enough if Russia fails in its invasion of Ukraine and comes out of it scarred, with devastated military, depleted stockpiles and economy ravished by sanctions. It will not be able to pose a threat to any NATO member in the foreseeable time. Putin's regime might collapse and Russia would enter a period of 'smuta'. If that's the case, we can cut the heavy weapon deliveries in half and still everything would be alright.

These are the opinions of Soviet war participants. Most famously, Soviet dictator Josef Stalin raised a toast to the Lend-Lease program at the November 1943 Tehran conference with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt:

"I want to tell you what, from the Russian point of view, the president and the United States have done for victory in this war," Stalin said. "The most important things in this war are the machines.... The United States is a country of machines. Without the machines we received through Lend-Lease, we would have lost the war."

Nikita Khrushchev offered the same opinion:
"If the United States had not helped us, we would not have won the war," he wrote in his memoirs. "One-on-one against Hitler's Germany, we would not have withstood its onslaught and would have lost the war. No one talks about this officially, and Stalin never, I think, left any written traces of his opinion, but I can say that he expressed this view several times in conversations with me."

Ukraine already won the main part of the war by preventing Russia from taking over Ukraine.

Russia never wanted the whole Ukraine so Ukraine won nothing. It lost 350,000 men and L, D, and C...Forever...Say, bye...it was nice knowing you...

Russia did everything it could to minimize civilian casualties and that is why only 10k died. The US was much better at it in K, V, and I.

Russia has lost 500k soldiers according to your source. All for securing territory it already controlled before it invaded. What a great outcome for them so far... .

In other good news for Ukraine, BAE is about to produce modern artillery in the country.

mil.in.ua/en/news/bae-systems-to-produce-l119-howitzers-in-ukraine/

There are also now rumours about Rheinmetall due to sign a deal with Kiev about producing their new MBT Panther 51 in Ukraine, addition to the factory that is already under construction.
