His claim that we only win through sheer mass of manpower, without technological superiority... is a joke.

Explain this to the Turks, that have never won a war against us. Maybe the Persians. Perhaps the Chinese, also.

The Swedes might be curious too, regarding how Peter had a backwards army and industrial base.

Hell, even the Nazis might be surprised to learn that our tanks were inferior. The Americans should be surprised why inferior MiGs and SAMs shot down more than a thousand American planes over Korea and Vietnam (guaranteeing an American loss there).

I omitted another dozen examples, because I feel it would be rather unfair to discuss African conflicts, Central Asia, the peoples of the Arctic, various Baltic and Karelian sh!tholes.

The rule, rather, is that Russia loses only when fighting impossible odds.

Our occupation of Kremlin was kind of bloody, you know. Besides the situation was pretty chaotic back then. I'm afraid we might have burned Moscow down...

Well, that explains the 20 million Russians killed in World War II.

Really???? You are suffering from amnesia, dear boy??? I know about one war won by Turks without googling. :):):)

Indeed. Throwing wave after wave of terrified (and often drunk) conscripts at the front.

They've tried that this time, except of course they can't spare 20 million.

Interesting how the orcs' tune has changed now they're suffering loss after loss.

Soviet invasions of Hungary and Czechoslovakia were 'mistakes' - Putin
It was unwise of Moscow to impose its will on its Eastern European allies, the Russian president has said

American invasions of Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan, on the other hand, were very wise because 100,000 Americans who died there, did so for "freedom and democracy". Not in America but still...For that reason, those deaths were more acceptable for their families and the rest of us.

Havent enough people in power and think tank experts apologised for that? That's what is called a western democracy. As opposed to Putin who glorifies Stalin and is backpedalling to save his bacon from Orban in Hungary and the upcoming election in Slovakia.

Havent enough people in power and think tank experts apologised for that?

Why should they? I just said that all American invasions were wise, highly commendable, and worth every dead American. You know...freedom and democracy...plus those babies thrown out of incubators for the chicks...

BTW, I don't recall any US president calling those invasions unwise mistakes. Can you help me find it?

This war is getting on my nerves for another reason...They can't even make TV shows without some pro-U, anti-R propaganda. Here is a user review...Quoting:

In these woke times the choice of villains is very limited, apart from white males. The Ukrainians nowadays are good people, but luckily the Russians never fail to disappoint, therefore the baddies of this series are all evil, rich white men with a sprinkling of Russian mafia. No thanks.

Where is my barf bag...

typical russian two facedness

new russian textbooks refer to the 1956 Hungarian revolution as a 'fascist revolt' and say it was a 'mistake' to leave Warsaw Pact countries in the 1990s....

dailynewshungary.com/putins-new-history-textbook-says-it-was-a-mistake-to-withdraw-from-hungary-in-1956/

So which is it?

nigg€r/gipsy behaviour

Dogs often operate in packs;

A video from May of this year gives a clear image of the results of this year's policies towards Russians in Latvia, showing a Russian boy who was allegedly lured into the forest under false pretenses and then beaten up by his Latvian classmates for allegedly "Supporting Russia". The children steal his shoes, choke him, and kicked him on the ground, while this young lad did not fight back. There has undoubtedly been more cases of this, both among other schools and amongst adults as well, since the discrimination of the Russian minority in the country has become state policy.

Perhaps not all Russians will be as restrained as this young man when confronted with unwarranted violence such as this.

DRUNK POLE ASSAULTS UKRAINIAN REFUGEE

The second largest news website in Ukraine has had this video plastered over its front page for the last day and a half.

Link: m.censor.net/ru/video_news/3443062/v_polshe_mestnye_napali_na_taksista_iz_ukrainy_my_tebya_soderjim_video

You know what's surprising to me? The comments. The majority are nonchalant about one of their compatriots getting humiliated, and instead they're making hay out of the fact that the poor kid called for help in Russian.

Seriously, please look at the comments.... This is a sick country. I understand that this isn't some indictment of Poland, because there are idiots everywhere - but rather its the comments which indict the Ukrainians.

Oh yeah btw, this happens in Gdańsk. Some of the comments are saying - "most of our people want to go to Gdańsk, there are already too many of our guys there." Just as Kania said.

typical russian two facedness

They're just sore and trying weakly to deflect because yet another of their ships and its crew have been repurposed as charcoal by a country with no navy.

And their army is currently trying to flee for their lives at a couple of points on the front.

repurposed as charcoal by a country with no navy.

Another recurring bit of nonsense. It's presented as some miracle, while for the last half century or so there has been an ongoing debate about the frightful vulnerability of ships to ground-based missile systems.

Long before China built itself the world's largest navy, the HMNS and USN were sh!tting their pants over the possibility of Chinese "carrier killer" missiles sinking all their ships 1,500 miles out at sea.

In Yemen, Houthi rebels - not just without a navy, but also without proper shoes - have successfully been sinking the ships of the Saudi coalition.

Finally - it's not like the Ukrainians manufactured the Storm Shadow themselves, or launched a satellite constellation into orbit which could guide such weapons. It's a capability which fell into their lap, because people feel sorry for them.

They're just sore and trying weakly to deflect

Yep one of their newest submarines, which was carrying out their cruise missile strikes, and a landing ship, critical for transporting goods into Crimea, got wiped out by locally produced Ukraine missiles, and all they have is some minor skirmish in Poland, LOLZO.

it's not like the Ukrainians manufactured the Storm Shadow themselves

It was repurposed Neptune missiles, which, in some ways, more effective than a storm shadow due to its target acquisition at the last moment. Why you think the ruskis repainted some of their black sea fleet after the news of the storm shadow being introduced.

It's presented as some miracle

It's presented as the good news that it is.

Another one last night, two in a row like sitting ducks.

Houthi rebels

The ones supplied by Iran. And the Saudi navy is no great shakes either. They've never been out to sea for more than three days at a time.

and all they have is some minor skirmish in Poland, LOLZO.

They don't even believe in their own deflection techniques.

I'll be in the former Soviet Union in about 3 hours time. I wonder how much writing I'll see in orc script.

Vilnius, but only to change planes on LOT since the direct flights were booked solid. It's a quick turnaround so I hope they don't lose the baggage. I'll pick up some vodka there for my best mate and his brother however they're British Ukrainian with a red and black flag in their house so I'll have to choose it carefully. I got Ruski Standart once before and they claim to have poured it away.

Away from PL for a while to do boring stuff, sad stuff and mysterious stuff. Though not at the same time.

All on LOTs network, Poland has great connections from those places and USA/Canada/Western Europe. It's like we're doing Aeroflots job these days. haha, (along with Turkish Airlines)

Yes. I was surprised they have the route out of Vilnius.

Aeroflots

Due to the war, they seem to be doing flights to IST.

Baku, Tashkent, Almaty, Tbilisi

One day. If Covid hadn't happened I was supposed to be doing some stuff in Kazakhstan.

I'd recommend Balsam Wileński (Vilniaus Degtine) a strong but flavorful herbal drink, similar to the Danish 'gammel dansk' (but stronger)

Balsam Wileński

I may get some for myself, having enjoyed Latvian Balsam. Thanks for the recommendation.

When I get flavoured drinks for this guy, he dislikes any except Czarny Bez. I always take some and he'll just give it away if it's not plain vodka.

Closer to the topic, the orcs have built a super secret missile plant. I suspect something may be careless with a cigarette there soon.

I've tried it a few times but have never managed to enjoy it... the tasteis meh and the mouthfeel.... I dunno what it is but I hate the way it feels in the mouth sort of.... oily? but not really oily....

Miserable old city.

I didn't see much of it since I was only flying in there to switch to a train to Kaunas... an interesting and picturesque place though a (soviet?) kind of gloom was still hanging around.

Of course we feel sorry for the Ukrainians - they were minding their own business when they were invaded by drunk Udmurtian rapists who wanted to colonize them and send them back to the dark ages.

They didn't invent the storm shadow but they are sure getting the hang of how to fire them.

Hopefully some more fireworks tonight

Ukrainians were minding their business. The world's two leading warmongers and Z were not. Hence, the war...
