Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 7

Well, you earn respect of others by behaving in a respectable way

For russians, with their primitive and violent mindset... 'respect' means 'fear'... they dont' understand the idea of respect on the basis of virtuous behavior.

But for the US meddling, Europe would not have a war because Maidan would never happen, and Z and P would meet as they planned in April 2022 and work out a solution acceptable to both sides.

As opposed to US MICC, Russia does not have any interest in having war by its front door. The US loves its wars as those are always very far away and would go apeshit if China decided to form a military alliance with either Mexico or Canada.

Conclusion: Europe should tell the US to GFO of Europe. The problem is that, like a child who never really moved out of the parents' basement, Europe likes to be protected by the bully - even if the bully drags them into another war like this one.

This one is just another American war - this time by proxies, aka useful idiots, 400,000 of them dead or permanently disabled.

Your comparisons with Cuba and Canada have been debunked mamy times by now.

Take Basic English and Logic for Dummies to learn the proper use of "debunked". We debunk lies, not predictions of facts that haven't happened yet. Duh!

Maidan would never happen

It wouldn't have happened if Yanukovych had kept a key campaign promise instead of breaking it and enraging a large majority of younger people in the country.

Have you read any of the accounts of those who took part?

Yes, it looks like it. And that's scary and hopeless, because how do you reason with someone who isn't capable of understanding you?

But for the US meddling, Europe would not have a war because Maidan would never happen

Maidan happened because of RuSSia's meddling. Ukrainians wanted to join the EU, not the US. If it wasn't for Yanukovych's sudden decision not to sign the European Union-Ukraine Association Agreement there would be no Euromaidan. Instead he chose closer ties to Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union. Ukraine's parliament had overwhelmingly approved of finalising the Agreement with the EU, but Russia had put pressure on Ukraine to reject it.

Russia does not have any interest in having war by its front door.

But Putin does.

You don't. You defeat them.

He personally told you about this after finished BJ? ;)

Hey, Velund, did you notice how these a-holes here know what Putin thinks before he does?

Paulina

You don't. You defeat them.

True.

He personally told you about this after finished BJ? ;)

And again you're showing off your crass RuSSist mindset and lack of class.

Let's see: 1) (...) 2) (...) 3) (...) 4)

Thanks for that, Bobi.

I can't say I agree with it entirely but at least now I understand the motives behind the invasion a bit better. Thank you. What Velund wrote earlier about Russia being disillusioned with the good will of America and the prospects of peaceful coexistence is also not entirely unjustified on second thought.

It's a good thing you're here, guys. If only we had two or three sensible Ukrainians here with us (not those pesky bots), we might be able to come to some sensible concluisions.

...but is justified partially?
I don't like those double negatives. Too sophisticated...

Yes.

Too sophisticated...

My best English teacher was actually English and she absolutely loved those double negatives, so when I use them I always think of Jean with a smile on my face. :)

I use them I always think of Jean with a smile on my face. :)

When I think about my English teacher I smile because she had bit tits and a nice ass.

I hate multiple negatives because I have to find each to figure out what the hell I am reading. I admit that double is fairly easy to decode. Tripple - forget it...

Did you notice how beautifully crude my English is?

Did you notice how beautifully crude my English is?

Sure, you treat this language the way it should be treated. Well done.

It is Iron, however, who wins in the "beautifully crude" category.

Deserves a bit of attention...

"1) The minute we misbehaved, they stole it all. How can you be strong, when someone else controls the purse strings?"

The Soviet Union was poor.... so was/is russia. Work your way out of it!

"2) The very heart of our historic empire, was slowly drifting away"

Empires, by nature are temporary things... the more you moan and long for a lost empire the more the world will leave you behind.

"How can you be strong, when you do not command the respect of even those closest to you?"

No one 'respects' russia because russia doesn't do anything worthy of respect. Why wasn't money from gas and oil sales used to raise living standards? the russian government chose to steal it and the russian people were too apathetic and pathetic to even protest.

"ussia acted merely as a source of wealth, but not some place where they could see a future for themselves"

because russian values aren't built around things that let people plan futurues (like "rule of law") but around primitive dysfunctional ideas like "the will of the tsar".

"supposed elites do not consider the country a place worth living?"

Can you blame them? You clearly don't see russia as a place worth living in...

"In the years leading up to the war, the search for a unifying "idea" did not bear much fruit"

So you started a war because you don't have a national story that's worth anything.... not Ukraine's fault, no one's fault but of russians themselves.

"Now there is a chance to build a proper Russia, in the time tested way of relying on our strength and not waiting for any handouts from the lords' table"

A fancy way of saying "we can steal something!"

Velund

A fancy way of saying "we can steal something!"

Why not say "we can return something that was stolen from us in the past"?

Why not say "we can return something that was stolen

They won't because it doesn't fit the cuddly-NATO-evil- Russia narrative.

Ukraine has just filed lawsuit against Poland at WTO...

wionews.com/world/ukraine-files-lawsuit-against-poland-hungary-and-slovakia-over-grain-import-bans-637289

... hey, Mr President, how about another nice photo with Zelensky? How about a couple of more hundreds of tanks, fighter planes, howitzers and attack choppers for Ukraine? How about some more trains full of artillery ammo, fuel and supplies? How about a couple of more percent of GDP to flood Ukraine with all kinds of supplies or buy their worthless hrywnas? How about giving Ukraine-nationals some more benefits, free health care and education?

Sure, it's only our silly farming they would like to destroy - no big deal, right?

"we can return something that was stolen from us in the past"?

Cause it wasn't stolen.....

All the elaborate rationalizations bobko spun out are 'you' problems created by russians themselves (or not problems at all but negative ideation).

Invading a peaceful sovereign nation is not the way to solve any of them.

The solutions involve an informed citizenry and a non-permanent head of state and more honesty and hard work.

The NY Times has done a report, about an incident in which a Ukrainian air defense missile struck a busy market street, killing 16 people and injuring 35.

Mafketis and others, on the day of that tragedy, of course did not neglect to use the opportunity to blame "orcs" and their "deplorable" culture.

Cause it wasn't stolen.....

Hm... Probably I understand...If you buy some properety, pay in full, and after some time someone come with a gun, point it at you, and declare that now he is the owner - it is not a theft, it is robbery. ;)

In 1721 Russia purchased Estland and Livonia from Sweden, paying with silver talers and Finland.
After the October coup, the Bolsheviks (who refused the succession of the Russian Empire, it is important), not having the strength to fight on several fronts, recognized the independence of Latvia and Estonia, the separatists in which were generously supplied with the necessary by German special services.

Thus, there is a legal conflict, as the modern Russian Federation, unlike the Bolshevik USSR, recognizes the legal succession of the Russian Empire.... And the recognition of independence from the Bolshevik government, which did not recognize the succession, raises questions....

We are not saying anything about Poland now. ;)

o blame "orcs" and their "deplorable" culture.

I don't use the term 'orc's' and don't really regard russians as having culture.... and since russia invaded, it bears the moral responsibility for every death including accidental deaths due to Ukrainian equipment malfunction _if_ that's what happened since the NYTimes piece mostly seems sourced from russian tg channels...

Go whine some more....

Bobko

don't really regard russians as having culture

Hip-hop and tailgating is great culture, however. Hotdog eating competitions, and beauty pageants for 5-year old children - that's the peak of culture!

Also, how could I forget to mention school shootings, and the glorification of prostitutes and gangsters. That's as American as pecan pie!

Velund

bears the moral responsibility for every death

Russia bears the moral responsibility for every death of civilians on Donbass during 8 years that was spent to find diplomatic solution for a crisis, instead to use force to stop terror. This is especially clear, after Merkel said that Minsk agreements was just a con, providing time to better train and supply nazi regiments.

The rest is just a a collateral...

ussia bears the moral responsibility for every death of civilians on Donbass during 8 years

Yes! russia invaded then and ramped things up in 2022 the whole thing.... 100% russia's fault.

but the blood guilt is so heavy on russians that they probably barely notice it.... just do the world a favor and go back to killing each other and leave the rest of the world out of your murderous dysfunction.

That's as American as pecan pie!

Where do you live again?

And yes, pecan pie is at least 10 times better than insipid apple pie....

Yes, confessing to everything will lessen your sentence...

I think nuking enemy decision making centers lessen it even more, to zero. And, as example of Japan shows clearly, two generations of mild brainwashing is more than enough to make grandsons of survivors to forget everything.
