Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 8

Novichok

Hey, stupid, why did Poland, France, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, and the Netherlands stop fighting so early during WW2? Those damn cowards...especially Poles...

Just to remind you, a-hole, that Ukrainians are not facing extermination or labor camps where people would go to work themselves to death. All they would get is a Russia-friendly president like the one before the 2014 revolution. Would you want to die if Poland left NATO and got chummy with Russia? Are you that stupid?

Weird confession....

Hey, stupid, why did Poland (...) stop fighting so early during WW2?

Poland never stopped fighting and never surrendered. Poland, as a state, never officially capitulated and Polish soldiers - individuals and whole units - fought on every front of WW2 from the first to the last day.

Lira

The American journalist imprisoned by Ukraine has passed away; "Dictator Zelensky and senile Biden are to blame"

d

American journalist and blogger Gonzalo Lira died in a Ukrainian prison, his family announced on Friday.

Lira's father, Gonzalo Lira Sr., provided a statement on his son's death to The Grayzone, saying, "I cannot accept the way my son has died. He was tortured, extorted, and incommunicado for 8 months and 11 days, and the US Embassy did nothing to help my son. The responsibility of this tragedy is the dictator Zelensky, with the concurrence of a senile American president, Joe Biden."

Lira Sr. also confirmed his son's death in Ukrainian custody on Tucker Carlson's show.

He spoke with Carlson about the case in early December.

BREAKING - SAD: American citizen Gonzalo Lira has died at 55 in a Ukrainian prison where he was being held for criticizing the Zelensky and Biden governments, his father says. You may remember his interview with @TuckerCarlson. WATCH

twitter.com/simonateba/status/1745876823177642152

His son Lira, 55, lived in Kharkov and blogged as 'CoachRedPill' but switched to YouTube after the conflict with Russia escalated in February 2022.

He was arrested by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) last May and accused of discrediting the Ukrainian leadership and military.

Lira resurfaced in late July with a series of posts on the X network, revealing his torture in prison and the SBU's attempts to extort money from him. He said he was trying to escape to Hungary and seek asylum. Then he disappeared again.

Two days later, a source confirmed to RT that Ukrainian authorities had captured and imprisoned Lira. Since then, there is no word from him. According to a handwritten note received by Lira's sister on January 4, he had been experiencing severe health problems caused by pneumonia and a collapsed lung, which began in mid-October. Prison authorities only acknowledged the problem on December 22, and he was scheduled to undergo surgery.

Rest in Peace Gonzalo Lira. You imparted a great deal of wisdom on me in our conversations, and on everyone who was lucky enough to watch your streams and read your work. I will never forget what Zelensky and his Nazi Ukrainian government did to you at the behest of the Biden Administration. They imprisoned, tortured, extorted and ultimately murdered you for speaking the truth. Your unique situation helped ignite a fire in my heart to expose the truth about the warmongering US empire. Your murderers who believe your death is the 'defeat' of your ideas are seriously mistaken. We will ensure that your legacy lives on and that the world looks to your heroic example of courage in the face of imperialism for generations to come.

When a person has his own opinion and still has US citizenship and ends his life because of freedom of speech in a ukrainian prison?????

How was it, America takes care of its citizens wherever they are, that's why people have their citizenship and consciously choose to pay double taxes, because they are sure that the state will always stand behind them? From 2020 until today, the West has trampled on almost all the principles that they stood for, or at least talked about standing for, for decades. Unbelievable. No amount of Russian, Chinese, or whoever's propaganda could denigrate them as much as they denigrate themselves.

Western civilization and humanity at work.
Media freedoms western-style...

Nothing strange, they just proved that they are exactly what Gonzalo claimed from the very beginning. Rest in peace Gonzalo.

and never surrendered.

...because the Polish gov ran to safety. Quoting:

Fighting continued as Germans and Soviets quashed final pockets of resistance, but on October 6, following the Polish defeat at the Battle of Kock, German and Soviet forces gained full control over the battered country. Although Poland never formally surrendered, this marked the end of the Second Polish Republic.

Zero difference ...

three idiotic things

The US has the most powerful army in the world = it has to fight wars. The USA has the largest arms industry in the world = it must engage in wars. The USA is the only country in the world that conducts global policy, which means it gets involved everywhere = it has to get involved in wars.

The USA is the only country in the world that conducts global policy,

not true anymore - you completely and unjustifibly disregard China's global policy in your statement - and it is in fact ambitious but it started crumbling somewhat recently -

also Russia still has plenty of nukes and is a member of the UNO Security Council

Western nations bomb Yemen to 'protect Israel' amid Gazan 'genocide'

January 12, 2024

Sana, Yemen - A coalition of Western nations "expanded" the ongoing conflict in the Middle East on Thursday by bombing 12+ military targets in Yemen. The airstrikes-conducted by the US and five of its allies-have since sparke accusations that the West is motivated by a desire to protect Israel from the consequences of its Gazan "genocide."

According to reports, the strikes have officially killed five Yemeni troops, and injured six others.

Meanwhile, in a televised speech on Thursday, Houthi leader Abdel Malik al-Houthi promised a "big" response if the US, Israel, and its allies continue.

"Any American attack will not remain without a response. The response will be greater than the attack that was carried out with 20 drones and a number of missiles," he said. "We are more determined to target ships linked to Israel, and we will not back down from that."

Since November 19th, Yemen's rightful Houthi government-which heroically thwarted a coalition of Western proxies for control of the nation in 2015-has claimed responsibility for a total of 26 raids against Western military and commercial vessels in the Red Sea. The Houthis have stated that their military operations aim to put pressure on Israel, whose unrepentant airstrikes on civilian areas in Gaza have so far culminated in the deaths of over 23,000 Palestinians at the time of press.

(...)

"(Our Zionist Occupied Government) bombed Yemen tonight in order to protect Israel from consequences of the Gaza genocide," he said in a post to his official Telegram page. "It remains to be seen if this will spiral into a wider war. I doubt the Yemenis will be deterred by these strikes, so I assume there will be further escalation.

"The never-ending refrain from the Jewish press that America is 'trying to calm tensions' in the Middle East is bulls-t. The way to calm tensions would be to actually put the brakes on arms and money to Israel, which America will never do. The rest is just theater," he continued in another.

Peinovich's linking of the United States and Israel would prove to be a fair analysis. In an interview featured in the Jewish News Syndicate, retired IDF Major General Yitzhak Brick said all of the IDF's "missiles, ammunition, and precision-guided bombs" came directly from the American government, and by extension, the American taxpayer.

...but never claimed to have the brains and the IQ to predict the US response.

So the question: What did you, morons, think the US would do? Just sit and enjoy the show or hit your smelly asses?

You should be amazed by the precision with only 5 dead. That's just one night in Chicago...

At least we got the credit...

As far as fvcking with the US...

I remember those 52 held captive for 444 days in Iran...What a splendid oppo to nuke Iran on Jan 21, 1981, to remind all a-holes out there what happens when you kidnap Americans.

Bobko

remind all a-holes out there what happens when you kidnap Americans.

Being American, and getting kidnapped, is frequently a death sentence.

America famously does not pay ransoms, unlike Germany or say the Netherlands. Instead, it sends in SEAL Team 6 and Delta Force, and those guys just as frequently kill the captives as the captors.

I would of course prefer that a ransom was paid for me, even if it funds and encourages future terrorist attacks.

Unfortunately, the Russian approach is similar to the American one... but still arguably more effective. There have not been any kidnappings of Russians in the Middle East since the 1980s. Then, in Beirut, several Soviet diplomats were abducted by Islamists. To show that they meant business, the abductors killed one of the diplomats shortly after capture.

Here is what happened after:

The KGB then apparently kidnaped and killed a relative of an unnamed leader of the Shias' Hezbollah (Party of God) group, a radical, pro-Iranian group that has been suspected of various terrorist activities against Western targets in Lebanon.

Parts of the man's body, the paper said, were then sent to the Hezbollah leader with a warning that he would lose other relatives in a similar fashion if the three remaining Soviet diplomats were not immediately released. They were quickly freed.

The newspaper quoted "observers in Jerusalem" as saying: "This is the way the Soviets operate. They do things--they don't talk. And this is the language Hezbollah understands."

The LA Times, of course, did not write the full details. The head of Hizbollah was sent the penis and the head of his beloved nephew.

Found some more info.

This chilling message delivered by some Soviet colonel to Hezbollah, makes me proud to be Russian:

Colonel Yuri Perfilyev said in a Russian TV interview in 2001 that he told the Ayatollah that "A great power cannot wait forever. From waiting and observing, it can proceed to serious action with unpredictable consequences... We aren't only talking about people in Beirut. I'm talking about Tehran and Qom. (Qom is Shiite holy city), which is not that far from Russia's borders. Yes, Qom is very close to us and a mistake in the launch of a missile could always happen. A technical error, some kind of breakdown. They write about it all the time. And God or Allah forbid if this happens with a live, armed (nuclear) missile...

Hahaha! Hezbollah sh*t its pants. They thought they were playing with nice Americans, and forgot they are dealing with Russians.

A Russian diplomat agrees with you:

"One Russian diplomat stated, years after the event "The kidnappers made a mistake, they were not dealing with nice Americans who wanted to teach the world to sing.... They were dealing with the USSR. They were dealing with the KGB. And the KGB were even more violent ************* than Hezbollah."

Two-days after Alpha Group had delivered the severed genitals to Hezbollah the remaining three Russian diplomats were released and dropped off close to the Russian Embassy in Beirut."

Of course, it's not nice to read somebody say "we are even more violent ************* than Hezbollah". I want to believe we can be civilized people. However, it's also important to explain to other peoples the lengths to which Russia will go to protect the dignity of its citizens. An assault on a Russian anywhere, is an assault on Russians everywhere.

I want to believe we can be civilized people.

Violence and civilization are by no means contradictory terms.

Of course, violence can be genocidal and criminal, as in case of the Holocaust, French Revolution or genocide of Slavs in 20th century (why don't we have a word for it? more Slavs than Jews died in WW2). However, it is impossible to even imagine a functioning civilisation, able to defend itself, without it being able and willing to resort to violence if need be.

Say what?
