Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 8

I am so glad you ask that dumb Liberal question.

repbulicans should talk about the change in migration patterns and how this changed their views.... why don't they?

@mafketis
Republicans after Carter had to solve the Iran crisis, then the economic crisis, then a little thing called the Berlin Wall and communism. Really, stop with the excuse making for Democrats mainly Obama and Biden who are worthless pieces of $hit. Cheap labor republicans? It is the Democrats who want the illegal labor, Republicans want legal immigration and more visa's for acceptable applicants. The socialist movement in the US will be killed one way or another. The class divide wouldnt be so wide if people who think so highly of themselves worked more than one job, or had some actual fvcking skills. Drop out of school? FO. Dont want to learn a trade? FO. Dont want to work two jobs? FO, you're not serious about lifting yourself up. Nothing should be given to anyone accept those who are mentally or physically handicapped.

It is the "enlightend" of NYC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco who are complaining now. Those enlightend democrats brought it on themselves and frankly I am laughing at how absolutely stupid they are. Insider traders in congress telling people to put their money in 401K while they are buying stocks seeing 10X and 20X returns. I cannot wait to see Biden tossed from the WH, and kunts like AOC and the other muslim lovers kicked to the curb. Socialism has failed in case people forget. Not once has it worked and not once will it work. There will always be the haves and have nots, the best that a free market economy can do is offer opportunity for people to lift themselves up.

As it effects Ukraine, the best that the US can do is take care of its own people before taking care of other countries. But wait, isnt that what the socialists here want is for the US to provide for everyone? Yet it cant because everyone other than Americans is standing in front of the bankomat.

Republicans after Carter had to solve the Iran crisis,

And there were dirty deeds about that too, since America's role in that crisis was specifically about their own diplomats who were hostages and the hostage release was deliberately delayed by individuals behind the scenes until President Carter had left office in order to reflect well on reagan.

@jon357
Of course. But nothing about the rest. Its all some great conspiracy to keep poor people poor. Carter was too soft to be a leader. Soft men create hard times, hard men create soft times. This is an undying truth through all time.

When you look at what Socrates says about democracy, you see exactly what is happening to the west. The United States was not founded as a Democracy. It is a Republic. Democracies will fail because they try to be everything to everyone, and that is simply lunacy because it can never happen.

70,000 square meters of warehouse went up in smoke in St Pete...

Here is a couple of photos that firefighters take after finishing... Looks like Russia will have problems with FPV drones building now...

No conspiracy. Just chaos, greed and inadequate governance.

Carter was too soft to be a leader.

I'd say he was among the best leaders there of the 20th century, and the people around him were at the top of their game.. When a country needs a 'strong man' as leader, it is a sign of fundamental weakness and instability. People should be careful what they wish for.

Republicans after Carter had to solve the Iran crisis, then t

poor babies.... it all seems to have been a bit too much for them.

stop with the excuse making for Democrats

You completely failed to understand anything I wrote.... the democrats have massively screwed up over multiple administrations and scr3wed any number of pooches.

But the republicans are not really any better at this stage and I don't buy any partisan argument that portrays one party trying to right the wrongs of the other especially a party that shares a major part of the blame for the problem in the first place.

I'm not convinced either party wants to do anything constructive about the border.

Taking into account the resources and strategic capabilities, do you think it is fair to even mention Poland in the same sentence as the EU or the USA?

Oh I hate this... what I am about to argue. Putin forgive me.

1) Russia never said it would take Ukraine in 3 days. You did. This was your expectation. Now, when Ukraine fights like a cornered dog, you Americans and Brits sing them hymns - from a safe distance.

2) My hope is that the Ukrainians have learned their lesson - about who is their family and who is not.

3) In the same way, you are completely off the mark regarding what Poles are capable of, and what their relative importance is to your alliance.

4) I want you to continue insulting them, pointing out their helplessness, and lording it over them. Maybe, they will wake up to the truth one fine morning, just as the Ukrainians are now.

The NATO cheerleading brigade is in for a very rude surprise, regarding Ukrainian popular attitudes. "Betrayal" and "Abandonment", do not begin to describe the feelings evident throughout their press, social media, and anecdotal evidence.

Ukrainian army mostly 'very old men' - commander
The average age of soldiers is over 40, a senior military official says

The governor of Nikolaev region, Valery Kim, warned at the time that conscripting half a million people "is not enough" and Ukraine needs to enlist at least two million.

...and that Z minus P is still stuck at zero...Damn...

Poland "next in line": Putin ally threatens NATO country on state TV

merkur.de/politik/russland-moskau-wladimir-putin-drohung-polen-nato-aleksey-zhuravlyov-zr-92775515.html

A Russian politician close to Vladimir Putin is openly threatening Poland with an attack. He does not mention the possible alliance case of NATO.

.....

The Poles would understand "that it is their turn next," ultra-nationalist politician Alexei Zhuravlev said in a TV interview, according to Newsweek . The American news magazine refers to a tweet by the founder of the Russian Media Monitor portal, Julia Davis, on X (formerly Twitter).

.....

Zhuravlyov, who is an ally of autocrat Vladimir Putin, reportedly said: "Another question for you, guys in the West: What are you going to do about it? They understand very well that Ukraine is finished. So what's next? Sweden is preparing, and so is the Balkans. The Poles have calmed down a bit, probably they have begun to realize that it is their turn next. Of course, we have no illusions, but we understand that they are all preparing for the next phase of the war." ....

WTF is going wrong in these heads? What is their endgame?

Yes, yes; dobri brat Aleksey.

I already answered that two pages back (#2,321).

dobri brat Aleksey.

I believe I already told you a little bit about Zhuravlev.

Most people in my circle, know him from when he claimed that in Denmark there are zoophilic brothels where one can pay for the services of a turtle. Rather, no... he said you can pay to "rape" a turtle. This novel idea of sexually brutalizing turtles captured the imagination of many compatriots immediately.

He also created a movement, in the 1990s, intended to stimulate the rebirth of the ancient Russian tradition of bare knuckle fights between large groups of people (wall on wall). In the event, most of the people enrolled in his clubs, ended up being used as free labor at constructions sites and various other non-fighting related places. Some of them, disappointed, filed lawsuits against him and the other organizers.

I don't know where he belongs now, but for years he was a member of LDPR - the party of Zhirinovsky. For those who don't know who Zhirinovksy is, he is a man that once claimed to Putin during a meeting at the Kremlin, that unless a man is gay or is made to spent some extended period of time in prison - he will NOT create good art or literature.

Finally, for a turbopatriot like Zhuravlev, he has a very strange daughter. Nadezhda Lachtenberger is a citizen of Austria, though she lives now full time in London after having graduated from the University of Westminster. I suppose he will page her shortly before a nuke drops on her head.

It is why one has to be extremely careful around turbopatriots... whether Russian, Ukrainian, or Polish.

P.S. - since this aromatic gnome sits on the Duma Committee for Defense, I would have preferred he focus on things like providing good winter clothing to the men at the front, instead of talking about dropping nukes on London every night on TV, in programs like "60 Minutes".

*sighs and nods his head*

They simply have no clue. Thank you for being here, Bobi - you introduce a lot of much needed realism to this board.

Imagine if Ukraine and Poland were on Russia's side. That would tip the scales of conventional war in Europe slightly to your favour, wouldn't it? Ha ha. :)

P.S. Be calm, my American friends, this was purely hypothetical. ;)

I believe I already told you a little bit about Zhuravlev.

Yes, you did, that's why I was joking.

Bobko

Yes, you did

Every time I remember of his existence, I think about the poor turtles. This idea could not have occurred in his mind, "by accident".

Really makes you think about what type of people are ruling us.

Russia has a much greater population, and so we have many more geniuses. You cannot even imagine, what geniuses we have.

I will not say anything about this former member of the Duma and Federation Council, but instead will leave you with some photos.

Do you have anybody like Valentina Petrenko?

*beams radiantly with pride*

I feel I was excessively harsh towards Petrenko. Despite her unorthodox hairstyles, she's a nice lady that spent most of her career working on issues surrounding social protection of kids.

Some people, look quite intelligent, but are in reality absolute morons. One such person with a deceptive appearance, is Boris Gryzlov. His career has taken a serious downturn (now he is ambassador to Belarus), but once he was one of the top 5 people in the country.

His most famous utterance: "The parliament is not a forum for discussions." Even colleagues from United Russia were not sure what to make of this message.

In general, every time I ever listened to this man, I was left with an impression that he is one of the stupidest people in public life. Just a general aura of very strong stupidity. It's hard to explain...

My theory is this.

I don't think Putin has the time to screen all hundreds of candidates during Duma elections, but somebody in the Kremlin staff is certainly tasked with this job.

I think their very sneaky intention is to stuff the Duma with such an unbelievable number of idiots, that Russians become inevitably disgusted with the institution and stop paying any attention to it. The end goal is to make the presidency and cabinet of ministers look infinitely competent compared to the retards in the Duma.

This is my theory.

"The parliament is not a forum for discussions."

Brilliant!

This is my theory.

And quite viable too. Imagine if the parliament was made up of PF members (or of any other internet forum). People would never manage to agree on anything, and parliament is a body made to rule the country and introduce laws according to the country's needs, not some bloody forum for discussions! :D

Meanwhile, Russia has lost two very expensive planes in the last two days. These planes were radar and command centers tracking Ukraine aircraft and missiles. Russia only has 7 of these planes left in total now. Big blow especially with F16s coming in a few months.

The UK is sending 20,000 troops for NATO's largest war planning games since the end of the cold war. The plan with NATO is to have 300,000 ready for quick deployment in Europe. Imagine 300K of NATO's best having to fight Russias rapists and released murderers. Imagine all the firepower and all those new state of the art weapons against a Russian army that is a shadow of what it was believed to be. I dont think Vlad wants any part of that.

Poland will continue the PiS policy of objecting to free trade with Ukraine during EU meetings this week. Maybe Tusk is not as one sided as PiS made him out to be?

Behind the scene's.
Journalist Gonzalo Lira has died while in Ukrainian custody, according to his father.

"Gonzalo Lira, Sr. says his son has died at 55 in a Ukrainian prison, where he was being held for the crime of criticizing the Zelensky and Biden governments," wrote Tucker Carlson on X.

"Gonzalo Lira was an American citizen, but the Biden administration clearly supported his imprisonment and torture."

jon357
15 Jan 2024  #2399

Gonzalo Lira

He was arrested for going right to one of the places that was being attacked and was posting details about Ukrainian defence facilities. Any country including yours and mine would arrest someone for that.

They drove him to the border so he could leave however he didn't leave. He went straight back to Kharkiv and carried on doing online propaganda on behalf of the country that was invading them.

The fact that he boasted that he's got untreated venereal disease and had slept with 1500 women there probably didn't help his cause either.

Yes, go to a country being invaded by a hostile neighbor and side with the invading forces and see what happens...

"Gonzalo Lira was an American citizen

And a criminal.... big deal.
